Bed was alright
Room was cramped, bathroom sink was clogged, maintenance appeared so/so, elevators were slow. Just didn’t get a good feel from staying here
Location
Staff was unable to inform us (when we checked-in) of movie being filmed on the hotel's street, and surrounding street. Numerous street closures. Was not informed by staff ahead of a additional $20 a night fee from the hotel.
Great stay!
Nice staff, comfortable mattress and linens, great shower, funky style and great location - walk to everything and close to subway
Ultra small bathroom sink and counter, A/C didn't cool the room below 72 even with the thermostat turned down to 60. Bed also on a platform, and corner of the base jutted out far enough that I whacked my shins on it to the point of heavy bruises - totally my fault but just beware!!
Boutique Hotel that Won't Kill the Budget
Nestled into a quieter part of Manhattan (or at least not as hopping as Times Square) the Roger feels like a bit of an oasis. The hotel did a great job of converting its rooms so they don't feel like an old apartment with a fresh coat of paint and an over-sized photo of old Chelsea. The lobby is pleasant, there is a small, intimate cafe on the landing and the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. This was my first time and would stay again.
Last minute bargain ended up great
Large room was clean and recent renovation Couple blocks from 34th st subway
Tiny bath but was clean and modern
Sweet hotel.
Stunning hotel. Stayed here for 4th of July weekend. Location is amazing, room is amazing and staff was amazing. Will be back next time while I'm in NYC.
Parking is a hassle and valet is 55$ a night.
Clean comfortable hotel a great value
Most everything.
My only facilities detraction was the shower water temperature bounced around. The location is not in the middle of anything, but it is close to a lot.
Great service. Very clean. Rooms weren't spacious but very clean and modern. Extremely comfortable bed and bedding
Very comfortable, great location, friendly and helpful staff.
Those iHome alarm clocks are pretty unreliable. Nothing against The Roger, but I do like to play music in my room and they rarely seem to work.
