The staff was extremely polite, they helped a ton. I accidentally left something in my room and they found it for me and will be mailing it.
Nothing! I really enjoyed it.
Parking gate never function
For some reason roomservice came knocking on the door at 8:30 when check out time was 11am. Also I called down to the front desk to ask a question and the lady was very rude to me. The o oh good experience Inhad was the gentleman who checked us in, he was nice and very courteous. For a four star hotel I would have expected more.

The Best
Looking for a clean hotel with a Starbucks, tastey cookies, onsite ticket options for Universal and Disney, free shuttle to Universal and cheaper option than Disney Parking (uber is cheaper). Comfortable beds, nice views, couldn't have asked for a better vacation!
Had no problems, but $16.00 per person for a shuttle to Disney is extremely high. Parking at Disney is only 22.00 total.
Clean, easy, and so close to Universal
We loved the Doubletree! It was easy and convenient and the hotel staff was very helpful and relaxed. Excellent experience overall!
Best bang for your buck.
Loved the walk to the park. The rooms smelled fresh and clean. The staff was very friendly. The pillows were very comfortable. Top it all off-warm chocolate chip cookies checking in. YUM!!
The bed was a little hard for me.
Great time!
We had a wonderful time. The hotel was undergoing a remodel but the staff was great and made sure it didn't interfere with our stay. Great location! Walking distance to Universal but the hotel also offers a shuttle.
Parking situation
Overall my visit was very enjoyable. However my first night I was greeted with the information that valet was $23 and self parking was $19 per night. This price seemed a little high for me.
Almost perfect stay
The locstiion was excellent with the entrance to Universal just across the street it only took about 10 minutes from leaving the hotel to arriving at the security checkpoint. Turn down service was excellent and many amenities were available in house, like the fire pit which the kids loved making s'mores in.
The only thing we didn't like was that although there is an UNO Express on site, they don't have deep dish pizzas available. It doesn't sound like that big a deal, but when Orlando is the closest place for us to find an UNO it would have been nice to get a deep dish pizza after a long day at the parks without having to drive out to International Drive.
Doubletree still under construction
The buffet and staff at the restaurant was great. The rooms were clean. The location is phenomenal: right at the entrance to Universal Orlando..
Construction is still occurring within the hotel. Seems like there has been construction going on for years.. the parking is expensive ($17 for self parking, $21 for Valet), so factor that into the price when looks for hotels.
