Was "meh"
Logistics of the hotel in terms to proxmity of everything in Orlando was great.
Room was not 100% clean. HVAC in the room was designed poorly so during the night we would get woken up by the unit fan coil cycling. Sanitary drain for the toilet had an issue with the piping in that when you flush the toilet it would keep sucking air for a good 5 minutes, was just annoying to listen to. While room had an echo like it needed more pictures or something on the walls. Corridor was bleak. Parking was horrendous.

Hotel in the round
This was our first time staying Melia. The staff were super attentive and very pleasant. We spent some time both at the pool and the bar and were never disappointed. 360 was also a bit surprised. The food was excellent and diverse. Their pizza, cooked in a open fire oven, was superb.
Are only disappointment was that the shuttles seemed a bit expensive. Initially we had thought they were part of the package. Minor issue.

A good Orlando hotel experience
Location. Quiet. Relaxed. Staff was attentive and friendly. We stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite which was very reasonably priced and ample. Close to all things Disney, yet far enough away to lose the crowd at the end of the day. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance.
Under renovation (summer 2016). No acknowledgement of this at the time of reservation. They attempted to compensate, but it still was inconvenient. Forehand knowledge would have allowed mental preparation for the experience. Murals on the walls outside elevator doors need to go.

With a sparkling pool surrounded by palm trees, the Melia Orlando Suite Hotel at Celebration is a 4-star property with all of the amenities that guests desire. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, and guests will find plenty of free parking spaces for their use. The front desk has a safe for keeping valuables secure, and cars can be rented on site. The maid staff visits each room on a daily basis, and all indoor spaces are air-conditioned. Limo or Town Car service can be arranged by the front desk which is staffed 24-hours per day. The fitness center is open for guest use, and there is a complimentary shuttle service which can take guests to area attractions. Breakfast is available on a daily basis, and there are a restaurant and bar within the property grounds.
There are 289 guest rooms available for booking, and each is fashioned with comfortable decor in a chic style. The television sets are equipped with premium cable channels, and there is an iron and ironing board in each room. The well-appointed bathrooms have complimentary toiletries provided that are of spa quality.
Near the hotel, guests will find plenty of fun activities. The Celebration Golf Club can be reached via a 10-minute walk, and the Old Town area is also within walking distance. Fun Spot America is about 20 minutes away, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports can be reached via a 20-minute walk. The Disney World Theme Parks are nearby, as well.
