Really nice hotel, great facilities
Limited to 10:30pm to get in but they provided a key to let ourselves in
Lovely location, excellent service, very nice, comfortable room
The accommodation upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment gave us a lot more room and comfort. The apartment had everything you would need for your stay. It was away to the side of the main hotel so was more peaceful and relaxing.
We only had use of the hotel facilities for 1 day out of 2, due to a wedding reception being held there and only given less than 24 hours notice. We got an upgrade to a bigger apartment because of losing half the use of facilities at the hotel. The location of the hotel was too far out of Penrith to walk in the horrendous weather we had during our stay. This would have been fine on a nice summers day.
Great hotel once you've found it. A bit tricky in the dark. Very helpful and friendly staff evening and morning. Superb breakfast. Why don't all hotel breakfasts taste that good.
The dinner was absolutely delicious and they could not do enough for us. Very please with the room and the lovely views! The breakfast was also exceptional.
There wasn't really anything we didn't like - staff were great, it was clean, we relaxed near the fire and had the room to ourselves for most of the night which was nice!
