6.0 Good
Pros: next to burger king and mcdonalds
Cons: we was 3 and only 2 towels
1.0 Poor
Pros: Close to a selection of eateries & restaurants
Cons: Close to motorway - road noise very load. Badly fitting door to room - made road noise louder and extremely cold Faulty electrics in room : Electric tripped at approx. 3am - no fuse box in room. Only light we had was that showing through the big gap round the door. Nobody on duty at reception or any telephone number to contact in emergency so subsequently had no lighting or heating on what was a very cold and wet night. Finally got to speak to someone in reception at 06.00hrs. They re-set the switch that had tripped in the fuse box located in in reception. Electric lasted all of 20 minutes before tripping again. Once again reported problem to reception who said they would have to get someone to see to the problem. Asked when that would be just got a shrug of their shoulder. When asked if we could use another room to shower because as there were no windows in the bathroom we couldn't see, suddenly couldn't understand my French. Cheap Mattress & bedding - only 1 very flat, uncomfortable pillow per person.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Would prefer to be able to book in advance ground floor room
6.0 Good
Pros: Near main route and places to eat
Cons: Noise from other guest

7.5 Good
Pros: Easy to reach from Bordeaux airport. Approx 20 euro with a taxi. During daytime you can also take the bus. Hotel is in 70’s style, old and not very fancy but decent and clean. The rooms are spacious.
Cons: On a Monday night arriving around 22:30, bars and shops in the neighborhood are closed. Also the hotels does not offer any cold drinks after 22:00. So make sure you are prepared when you arrive late.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We always stay in this hotel on our way the Basque region, so as to avoid the heavy traffic on the holiday Saturday. It is very handy, well placed for leaving the next day (avoiding peripheric traffic) and a nice hotel. Also it is right beside the Tram station which we use to go into Bordeaux for dinner.
Cons: I thougt the code given to me was for the WiFi but in fact it was for getting into the hotel after 10 PM. I think the owner was not amused when I had to call him to tell him I could not get in! My fault, not theirs.
6.0 Good
Pros: The only place we found close enough to the chateaux we went for a wine tasting to.
Cons: Really low-end, but it has a parking and nothing is too terrible in the rooms.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location.
Cons: This hotel is very basic and very dated. There was black mould on the wall in the bathroom, The curtain to the terrace was split and frayed. On other reviews it was indicated that there was a reasonable café/restaurant next door. We found that this is basically a burger bar. We found the food very disappointing and the wine excessively expensive.

Pros: This property is a showcase for all that's wonderful about hotels of the past: Truly unique and personal. The beauty of the castle, the winery and the gardens is really breathtaking. This history-filled premises is one of a kind and each and every part of it offers a heart lifting experience; ask to visit the room with the musical instruments (including a Stradivarius) - it's a must! Breakfast is made of the highest quality products and finest ingredients, with freshly baked baguettes and cakes (nothing industrial here!), squeezed orange juice, a selection of divine cheeses and much more. The room service late-night dinner we had was very tasty. Service is impeccable and we feel a duty to personally thank lovely Ms Floriane for her excellent warm and kind service: Dear Floriane, you alone are a good enough reason to return to Château Pape Clément again and again - Thank you!
Cons: Nothing really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: From early email communication to our late-night check-in and throughout our stay the service at Chateau Pape Clement was up to highest standards. The historic rooms impressed, as did the included breakfast and winery tour. The hotel is a short drive from the airport or the city center.
Cons: Our children would have enjoyed a pool or playground.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a spectacular property! The staff is exceptional - very polite, accommodating, and professional. We stayed in the "Tranquility Room". The bed was comfortable, the room nice sized for Europe, and everything we needed. It was a little warm at night and we would have liked to crack the window for air but the bed was comfortable and the staff provided us with all we asked. It is a little far from restaurants. When we arrived on a Sunday all the places were closed. We walked to a fast food place a short distance away to get a kebab burger as there didn't appear to be any other option but to drive to Bordeaux. The next night, Monday, the same problem. We eat too early for the French and all the restaurants were closed until 7 p.m. The stay itself was wonderful and would highly recommend to anyone who'd like to stay in a chateaux with great service. I will also comment that we took the wine tour - our guide was professional, knowledgeable, and interesting to see.
Cons: I wish we would have been a little more prepared for not eating until after 7 p.m. and all the places closed on Sunday. We walked to town and while not a far walk, it wasn't an "easy" walk while hungry!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fresh produce great staff perfect setting
Cons: Nothing! I shall stay there again!"

Cons: The AC was not working, and the room was extremely hot, but the hotel made it right after all.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked the breakfast, small kitchen in the suite and pizza. View on Bordeaux, from 8th floor balcony was very interesting.
Cons: Our room was not well isolated from noise from next room and outside. There was a party in room next to ours and I had to ring on their door to ask them to calm down. We did not sleep much between midnight to 5 AM. Also there was some draft from the door to the balcony which made our room full of smell of cigarettes from room next to hours.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location for access to airport and the centre of Bordeaux. Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff.
6.0 Good
Cons: The apartment was dirty and I informed to the reception but they didn't do nothing. The bathroom had mold.

6.0 Good
Pros: It is a good choice if you want to spend a weekend at a nice european city as Bordeaux and your main objective is to experience the city without spending your day in the hotel.
8.2 Excellent
Cons: Overall a nice stay at this ibis in Bordeaux, however we asked to be moved to a different room on the second day as the first one was too hot to sleep (around 26 degrees C). The staff told us that the air conditioning is set by the hotel and is currently on “warm” only (I guess given the season). However the second room was much more pleasant in terms of temperature.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location Very friendly and helpful staff Extremely quiet Accomodating my every whim Very clean
Cons: The positives outweighed the negatives for me. I would stay here again.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location was ideal and we were able to leave our car at the hotel and walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants nearby
Cons: Room was very small. Bed horribly uncomfortable and heating did not work so we were cold. Staff at breakfast time were miserable and unhelpful!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, room and staff The tram stop is a minutes walk away
Cons: Not enough coffee machines at breakfast
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: There was some renovation work in progress which meant there was a temporary dining room in operation. Breakfast time was chaos and very poor food and beverage quality. Our room was on the eleventh floor and was quite noisey we think from machinery on the roof, directly above. We have stayed in this hotel twice before and it generally offers a reasonable standard and value for money. Seems to have slipped a little this time.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Breakfast Varied
Cons: Works going on in the building. Spare bed had no headboard

Pros: The staff were adorable Kitchenette in the room I had the benefit of a room upgrade so the room was relatively spacious There is a laundry service with express option (same day)
Cons: The location was good but the zone was a bit empty after 8-9 pm and somehow scary. No sink in toilets, you should go to the bathroom Daily room cleaning and towels change service is not provided unless requested (paying option)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect room for 3 people, a lot of space. And in the day you could grab tiny chococroissant and juice for free at the reception.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Size of room , facilities & staff
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very close to the city centre, about 10 minutes's walk from the Place de la Bourse. A large supermarket (Auchan) located in the Meriadeck shopping centre only about 100 yards from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The Musee des Beaux Arts and the Saint Andre Cathedral also very close. The hotel is clean and functional. The room had a small kitchen with a microwave - probably too small to cook anything serious, but perfect to heat something quickly. Very good fridge with small freezer. There is also a small dishwasher but it didn't work well. Dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, sponge and dishcloth were provided. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was courteous and the place was very quiet at the time of my visit (late February) - no loud noises in the hall or anything like that. Would certainly return to this hotel or recommend it to friends.
Cons: The only downside is that no daily room service is included (it can be ordered at an additional cost), which I found surprising since the place is labelled as a hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything within easy walking distance and a tram stop nearby. No shortage of eating and drinking places around. The unexpected car parking was an additional bonus.
Cons: The only "niggle" was that the only sitting furniture was the single bed, not really a sofa or an easy chair.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and very comfortable.
Cons: Could have done with tea and coffee in the rooms

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the tram and therefore easy access to the centre. Good facilities.
Cons: Food options were poor and expensive.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location with good on site parking and easy access to Bordeaux centre by tram. Clean , comfortable, spacious room with good facilities. Pleasant public spaces and bar area.
Cons: Restaurant was disappointing, it is second time we have tried it hoping first experience was just an off night, but sadly not. Such poor quality food again , we opted for one of the evening’s specials on the menu thinking they would be well prepared for those options and whilst not expecting a gourmet experience it shouldn’t be hard to get burger and fries right.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean. Comfortable room. Great shower/ bathroom.
Cons: Many of the staff did not smile and gave the impression that we were an inconvenience. Only one gentleman behind reception was friendly and helpful

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were there and very willing to help, my issue is with the facilities, but the staff were very good.
Cons: I woke up at 2:30 to a literal party with music going on upstairs. Seeing as I didn't take the cheapest option available explicitly to have peace and quiet, I was furious. That said, the staff did help to stop it. Though they started again at 3:00 am and again the staff had to stop it. So paying for a good night's sleep was not that. Also the shower had two settings which it oscillated between at its will: unheated and boiling, so it was an awful experience. The breakfast had very few options for those of us who have allergies.
6.7 Good
Pros: I like the room I booked.
Cons: I paid for breakfast and it wasn’t served to my room, Maybe it’s because off my language barrier, They wanted me to serve mine self.

Pros: The lights did not work in my room. The breakfast was basic. It served a purpose and for that it was good. A typical facility for a working traveller in a budget. Very good in that way.
Cons: It did what it said on the tin
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very kind. We were still in the hotel room when the cleaners came around and even though we didn’t speak the same language, we got new towels and they were very friendly.

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Location-difficult to find
