Pro " Is very quiet Area "
Con " We tried to contact the staff several times during our stay during work hours and didn’t manage to catch them nor they came back to us. The bathrooms are not maintained well and the water flow was poor in 3 out of 4 bathrooms due to torn pipelines. We paid 5 pounds per night for a cot but and still it came with a large double duvet filling it instead of a baby duvet. We had trouble opening the windows and the remote controls of the TV didn’t work. We agreed ahead with the owner that we’ll get 2 sets of keys for each appartement and we only got 1. All that could have been simply be resolved if the staff would have been available. Please note that both appartements have stairs and baby barrier couldn’t be arranged by the owner. "

9.4 Excellent (160 reviews)
Pro " The Guest House was conveniently located a few minutes walk from the railway station and 10 minutes walk from the shopping area in the centre of town. We found that if you have wheeled luggage it is better to get to the house's front entrance via St Michaels Terrace Lane as Caprera Place is a cobbled street. Our room was beautifully decorated. It contained everything we needed including tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a table and chairs. The bathroom had an amazing shower. There was also a fully equipped kitchen downstairs for guests to use. "
Con " As the room was quite small there was limited space to store our luggage. There was also confusion over the servicing of the room. We were told that it would only be serviced if we specifically asked. However, this was done despite us not requesting it. "

Pro " Fox studios are always a reliable place to stay in Plymouth - clean, comfortable, welcoming. The new addition of fruit water offered in the reception area, and flowers, are a really nice touch. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. "
Con " Slightly disappointed this time by a huge streak of (presumably Plymouth seagull) dropping across the outside of the window, which could easily have been cleaned off (the windows open enough to do this, I was tempted to do it myself). And that the tea and coffee sachets weren't topped up on day two, meaning I had to go out and buy a whole pack of tea and coffee for just the second night - I know it's not quite a hotel, but I'm pretty sure last time I stayed for more than one night these were replenished each day. Pro " I absolutely loved my stay the breakfast was fantastic the staff were very accommodating. One of the best night sleep so I've had in a long time after going through so much lately it was just a little break I needed for a couple of days it was lovely "
Con " very accommodating but there were a couple of things that were forgotten in my room like I had to ask the same shampoo as they must have forgotten that a few little mishaps for the price so I was a bit disappointed with that but to be honest the staff and the overall hotel was so beautiful that I didn't actually mind that I can't wait to stay again but it was very considerate to me "
