- Even if You ordered room with one large bed, you can get a room with two beds. It depends of which room is free. The host refuses to pay any recompensation. You can only resign and get money back (when you don't have time to search for another hostel and take a random room anyway). That is disapointing. - about 280m to subway, not 50m as in desripition.
I liked nothing about this booking it was a disaster
Notified of late arrival, arrived to reception closed as was stranded for the night! It was very cold. Tried to call, someone answered could not communicate with him he said chow and put the phone down, then diverted all calls.
I was there only a few hours to sleep before my night flight.
If you need just bed, it is quite enough.
The locals, 2 gals and 2 guys sharing a hostel room next door quieted down after midnight and the peace prevailed. There is a very small, nice pub just 2 minutes walk away which accepts euros for a nice glass of beer and some hearty grub.
Someone from the kommunist past, i.e. sleepy and condescending met meet in the lobby and his half hearted welcome was bordering on rude. Small wonder, though, it is situated in the Liben region of Prague, a working class environment with appartment building look-a-likes all around but neat. If you are young and unpretentious, it will be OK. Prepare for some noisy locals next door, and electric sockets with a zero phase stud sticking out of them so your smartphone charger won't fit in!
