I enjoyed my time here. The building is impressive, and my room (under one of the domes) felt unique. The room was a bit dusty but definitely still a solid option for Pushkar. The rooftop restaurant served tasty food, and the staff at the front desk were very helpful in assisting me to book onward travel.
I woke up at dawn to climb one of the neighboring hills, and encountered a very angry monkey directly outside my room. This is not the hotel's fault, of course, as the monkeys move across the city rooftops and the hotel has a (wonderful) open central courtyard. I do inevitably feel, however, that my experience of the hotel was affected by being chased across its upper floors at dawn by an enormous, aggressive black-faced langur which refused to allow me down the stairs. Fair warning to future travelers! On a separate note, the room had probably over 30 electrical switches, making it difficult to know which to turn on - it would be great if these could be labelled to help future travelers.
Great location for walking Pushkar. Looked sketchy from the outside but beautiful once you climbed through the door. Lots of hot water for showering. The view from the restaurant was lovely and the food was great as well.
Really recommended. Beautiful, clean and comfortable. Right in the center. Will definitely stay there again. The restaurant in the hotel is good and cheap as well.
Loved everything about this place: the plants, the building, the room... 100% recommended!
The Inn Seventh Heaven is a century-old haveli (mansion) which has been converted into a small hotel. Do not get put off by the exterior. Once you have passed through the huge wooden door, fit for an elephant, you will enter a magical, vine-covered courtyard open to the skies. The room we had could use a bit of TLC in the form of cleaning the soft furnishings, like the couch, but the corridors outside the rooms were quite pretty, with lounger-swings, comfy couches and tables. This is also a fun place from which to watch your room service arrive, as it’s levered up on clever “dumb-waiter” platforms. There are no elevators to take you from the lobby to your room (or to the famous Sixth Sense restaurant on the rooftop), but there are friendly and eager staff on hand to help you carry your bags. Be warned as well, that you can expect an occasional visit from some monkeys (yes, real ones) in the open public spaces.
As is the case with most accommodations promoted online, the photographs are all staged, but The Inn Seventh Heaven comes pretty close to telling the truth. The rooms are clean (not spotless) and the internet is average speed for India, as is to be expected, and patchy at times (especially after school is out for the day).
Located in Pushkar, 100 metres from Pushkar Lake, Inn Seventh Heaven boasts a restaurant and free WiFi. The hotel has a terrace and views of the city, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Some rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. You will find a kettle in the room. Each room includes a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. There is a 24-hour front desk at the property. Varaha Temple is 100 metres from Inn Seventh Heaven, while Brahma Temple is 800 metres from the property.
