10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is very well positioned (max 5 minutes walking to the beach, to restaurants, to shops and a super-market). It has a very friendly staff and owner and also a very good breakfast. It's the perfect place to stay and relax with your family. You can stay at the pool and have a drink at the bar or you can go to the beach. Our time here was great!
Cons: Just one suggestion: the light bulbs in the room should have warm colors, the current blue-neon lights are a little bit not welcoming.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location suited our needs (we were going to a wedding locally). Pool was very good with Roman steps. Parking just outside. Short walk to the beach, shops, cafes and bars. Bed was comfortable, and bathroom newly renovated. Staff were friendly.
Cons: There was an smell of damp and drains each time you opened the door to our room. The breakfast location was good - outside. However the quality of the coffee/orange/juices were poor. If you arrived towards the end of the breakfast period there was only a limited selection.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Cosy family place. 3 minutes walk to the public beach (chairs are 3 euro each). 2 minutes walk to Platanias shops and restaurants. 2 pools and beautiful rooms. Great hosts.
Cons: If only there was a private beach...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. The staff is so friendly. Kind attentions and smiles all day long. Nice pools, great rooms and fantastic location. Breakfast was great. Gonna miss that Family!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all very nice and Incredibly helpful. The first room we were given wasn't really suitable for our needs, but we were able to change the next morning for one that was, which was great. The place was very clean and modern and the breakfast was amazing. Our flight was leaving late so we also managed to get a room for the day which was a great help with two kids! the high reviews are totally deserved. I can't recommend it enough.
Cons: The WiFi signal in the rooms was pretty poor. The draught beer at the bar is not great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved this hotel and it exceeded both our expectations. It was a last minute booking as we were in the area and we weren’t expecting much. The price we paid proved to be amazing value for what we got; from facilities, the amazing room which was new, super clean & super modern design and amazing comfort. The included breakfast with lots of in house baked food & jams and great selection. We were also surprised at the level of hospitality and professionalism of all staff. This is a family owned hotel who have worked very hard to build this business and really appreciate every guest. The gift upon check out was unexpected and very much appreciated.
Cons: We genuinely don’t have a single complaint.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a quite family hotel which was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment was very comfortable and implacably clean. A beautiful beach just 5-10 min walk away form the hotel is another bonus. I would be happy to go back and can definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a quite family vacation!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were beyond friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very modern, clean and practical - but they are charming as well. Multiple pools, including options for (young) children.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our first visit to Crete so we were unsure what to expect in terms of the area we chose. Maybe because it was September, most tourists in Platanias were over 40 so it suited us perfectly! Amazing apartment - modern design and high-end finish , spotlessly clean, everything needed supplied. Staff were lovely - friendly and helpful yet not obtrusive or pushy. breakfast fine. location excellent for exploring region - easy access to Rethmyno by bus or an enjoyable walk along the coast. We stayed in Mary Hotel for 2 weeks and never got bored. great restaurants and bars nearby with lots of veggie options. fantastic beach a short stroll away. Overall would recommend for a relaxing holiday with plenty to do and see when you want to - take a trip to the south coast, its beautiful!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel was excellent and the level of service was second to none. The beautiful and peaceful courtyard was a particular feature and provided a lovely oasis of calm in the centre of the Old Town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely calm oasis in the old town of Rethymno Loved the delicious breakfast in the courtyard
Cons: Nothing Enjoyed
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious and staff always friendly and helpful. Amazing pool / breakfast area.
Cons: Smoking during breakfast - we would prefer just one place for smokers in the whole place. You cannot sleep with an open window, it is too busy and loud on the street also during the night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Attractive boutique hotel with a great location in the heart of the old town.
Cons: Many of the rooms are very overlooked. We had one of the superior rooms on the first floor overlooking the pool but unfortunately had to keep our curtains closed for most of the time as people could see right into our room from the external staircase leading up to some of the other rooms. This problem appeared even worse for those staying on the ground floor who seemed to have to keep their shutters closed all day, or otherwise settle with people looking into their rooms from the pool side / whilst having breakfast. The view out our back window was also anything but superior - there was an air conditioning unit and a ladder was being stored there! Our shower head also needed descaling and water was only coming out of halve the holes. We let reception know this on our first day and they said they would get someone to take a look at this, but this was not rectified during our three night stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is ideal for exploring the old town. Breakfast is served by the pool and was a relaxing experience, we had the poached eggs, OMG very perfect!!, I'm a poached egg fanatic and this exceeded my expectation. Room was very comfy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we hope to return soon x
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, peaceful courtyard, delicious breakfast, helpful staff, lovely cocktails and comfortable room. An excellent stay. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you to all the staff who worked so hard and went out of their way to help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pepi Boutique Hotel is a small gem in the centre of the busy Old town of Rethymno but situated in a quiet alley. It is a beautiful old building that was renovated by the family into modern , spacious rooms with a small but convenient kitchenette and bathroom. It was very convenient to walk out the front door and after a few meters have access to lots of small shops and many Tavernas . A small beach next to the harbour is also within walking distance as well as lots of sightseeing. Manos at the reception desk was very friendly and always helpfull and informative. He referred us to a small Taverna with very good Greek food where we ate twice - this was a great help as there are so many tavernas to choose from and not all of them with good food. All the ladies who served breakfast as wel as the cleaning staff were also always very friendly and very hard working. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of fresh products as well as a choice of warm breakfasts. The sparkling pool and pool area with lots of trees, loungers as well as small tables and chairs were like paradise after walking around in the heat to do shopping or after sightseeing. There were always enough clean pool towels on hand.
Cons: Our only complaints are that there are no extractors in the bathrooms and the shower cubicles are very small but one must take in consideration that it is a very old building and presumably difficult make everything perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, upon arrival we were greeted by the wonderful staff who sat us down with a glass of homemade lemonade which went down a treat, we were then given a tour of the facilities and taken to our room which was beautiful, very spacious, spotlessly clean with fridge and even little hob, the room we were in was on the ground floor which was lovely and as we opened the door there was the sun terrace and pool, there were plenty of sun beds and fresh towels available for sun bathing everyday as this is an adults only hotel it is very quiet and you are able to totally relax. Breakfast is included and is superb freshly prepared and great selection, there is also freshly prepared hot breakfast dishes cooked to order. There is also a lunch & cocktail menu available all freshly prepared. The Staff are wonderful and offer excellent service and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is well located to local shops and restaurants and within easy reach of the beach. A truly wonderful holiday experience, highly recommended and definitely recommend.
Cons: There is not one thing I didn't like! For me this hotel ticked all the boxes, superb! stay there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything at this hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we received a lot of good recommendations for what to do and where to eat in the area. The garden and pool area are really wonderful and every morning we enjoyed the delicious breakfast by the pool. Everything was also very clean and the rooms are nicely decorated. The small stylish hotel is located in the old town, close to a lot of shops and places to eat, but still on a very quiet street. Would definitely choose to stay here again when we will visit Crete another time! Thank you so much for everything!

Pros: This hotel excelled in many ways! What we valued most were the kind personnel, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and very convenient location!
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Shower and luggage room available for free last day after checkout. You have a generous breakfast box if you're out on a trip early in the morning. We saved around £80 talking public transport in place of a taxi from the airport to hotel.
Cons: If you want to visit Crete you really need to rent a car. Bus station is 25min walk from the hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very clean, the staff is exceptionally friendly. Good location, decent breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, great location, clean rooms
Cons: The washroom wasn't good; floor alleviation was done wrong and the water was coming inside room after a shower.

Pros: This was a beautiful place to stay. It was a little difficult to find and to park but once inside everything was wonderful. Reception and other staff were all very friendly. Very nice stay for our honeymoon. They went above and beyond to create a wonderful visit, as well cool/ style and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you!
Cons: Parking description.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall hospitality was outstanding!!! The staff were accommodating, genuine and helpful  on all our needs. The interior styling was superb . The rooms are spacious, elegant and clean with very comfortable beds. One of the greatset rooms i have been so far. The sea view from our room was amazing. There is also private jacuzzi in our balcony which was a big surprise for us.  We have managed to try the spa services of the hotel. The whole service was really relaxing.  Restaurant was in high level with very tasty greek plates. Breakfast was excellent as well as the dinner in their outdoor space. Really nice atmosphere, specially when the sun goes down, when you can also enjoy some unique cocktails from the open bar. The management and staff here are extraordinary and deserve all the recognition they receive. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, friendly staff, clean & beautiful beach, delicious breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, very friendly staff. Breakfast was aslo excellent! Will visit again for sure
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Wi-fi was perfect.
Cons: Room's Amazon Alexa was working very limited. No smart home features. Just a single radio station, weather etc. The room was not so clean for such a new hotel. Daily clean was very weak. They didn't change our bedsheets for a week and the floor of the room and wc was dirty. The hotel is new but the shower equipments was broken. The room Aurum was smelling of moisture. It is unbelievable but it's true. We had to wash all of our clothes A to Z. There was no wardrobe in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was welcoming and helpful from the moment I booked the reservation to checking in as well as during my stay! I stayed upstairs in Room 3 with its own little porch and I think of it as the “Blue Room”. It was beautifully decorated with a private seating area as well as very comfortable bed and lovely artwork from the previous owner who was also a well-known Greek artist. The room has a deep bathtub and amenities for soaking after a day at the beach or exploring the Fortress in Rethymnon. The hosts were quick to offer coffee when I arrived and sat down with a map to acquaint me with the winding alleys that lead to the port and the beaches.
Cons: I think they’ve thought about just about everything you could need.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a mixture of buffet and made to order all very good. First class restaurant next door. We arrived after midnight but someone was waiting to meet us,we did contact the hotel to let them know our flight details.
Cons: Bed a little on the firm side for us but did not spoil our stay would visit again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location right in town which is what we wanted. It was only an overnight stay so we were not bothered about a pool etc. This was more 'boutique'. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was in a little courtyard.
Cons: i could not shut the window that looked into the centre of the hotel, but that may have been my mistake. As it was only one night and we took our valuables with us, it did not matter. I am not that keen either on glass bathroom doors, although it was not clear glass!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Bellagio is in a perfect location in the old town with all the great places to eat close by and the beach a 5 minute walk away. Our room was immaculate and we had an excellent nights sleep on the very comfortable bed during our stay. Breakfast was always very good with a wide selection of local fruit, pastries and produce plus the omelettes which were very special and tasty. What made the stay special for us was our hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always available to speak to and help with advice on where to eat, which beaches to visit and with all round good local knowledge. If you are staying in Rethymno the Bellagio should be top of your list to stay in. Excellent!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very genuine, helpful and motherly. Really felt like home away from home! They gave us good suggestions and also good advice.
Cons: The beds were a little hard for our liking, but otherwise the hotel experience was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent choices for breakfast. Tea or coffee and biscuits offered each time we came in for no cost.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice little hotel, a modern adaption retaining a sense of the old. Staff, including Catherine, very helpful and friendly, breakfasts plentiful and good to keep you going through the day. Food options in the old town are many and very tasty. Beaches in south of Rethymno province are superb, if you like lovely sand, mountain backdrop, and relatively calm waters for swimming. We visited Skinaria, Damnino and Theopetra beaches, albeit some windy roads, particularly Theopetra at end. Knossos worth a visit with guide.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and breakfast. Quality decor and ambiance. Great location
Cons: Air conditioner unit not working properly and leaking water. No tea making facility in the room. Rather expensive

Pros: Booked half board for seven nights and the food was superb . Rooms were really spacious and spotlessly clean with a huge balcony .Staff throughout the hotel cleaners, reception , waitress's were always helpful and courteous , special mentions for Christos the Rooms Division manager who was able to accommodate me in the hotel at very short notice and was extremely helpful . Next time I am in Rethymnon I will definitely be staying at the Atrium Ambiance .
Cons: The only minor critisism I have is the lack of English channels on the television , but this is being very picky .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel room given to us exceeded our expectations staff were extremely friendly and we were welcomed with drinks fruits a bottle of wine and some greek sweets as we entered our room. it was more than amazing cleaned every single day so quite with such lovely guests who stay there. Everyone working there is extremely considerable and polite food was absolutely amazing pool clean and all together a relaxing quiet modern and luxury hotel. Would definitely recommend the suite with jacuzzi had the best holiday ever out of many. the town is so close by and the beach is one road away. definitely looking forward to coming back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very helpful and friendly (and i include everyone here, reception desk but also bartenders, cleaning staff or restaurant people) and made the stay amazing all along, also the pool is great, premises are excellent, just like the location, very close to the beach but at the same time really quiet, last but not least room was spacious, bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was always yummy, varied, fresh and tasty.
Cons: Some people might be less happy with the dinner buffet, but it's harder to make people happy that way than with the breakfast and in my opinion the staff did a great job with a Greek night with typical gyros, so even if it was a challenge, you could tell they made sure to try and make residents as happy as possible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely modern clean hotel. Excellent pool chairs and pool beds. Brilliant wi fi. So good we extended our stay by 2 nights.
Cons: Can't fault anything. Excellent hotel and facilities
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great pool area, yummy breakfast, loved the room
Cons: Pay for safety box, pay cash deposit for towels wasn't told so had to go back up to the 5th floor to get money, room towels like sand terrible
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean rooms, lovely pool. Nice breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel. Good food, very friendly and helpful staff, nice room and comfortable pool area.
Cons: I would've been nice if the water had been free with dinner and lunch on full board and a bit much to have to pay 2€ for each pool game.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice hotel location, big room, generous breakfast buffet.
Cons: Paying for mineral water during dinner is disgusting. Adding 10E to total hotel price is nothing but asking for everyday payment is really annoying. BTW, the water price is four time the market price. Had to ask a receptionist for a shower gel, no new gel bottle was brought to the bathroom in 4 days.

Pros: This is a rare find of a hotel. Old charm in the middle of the bustle and still calm and kind of serene. The rooms are very nice - we have tried a couple and the have been very clean and comfortable. Cons: We could have stayed longer. There is nothing we could say it was a little bit minus. All
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was here for 1 week, and felt so welcomed by staff from the moment I checked in. It was hard to leave. All around staff are friendly and with smiles. It does help that hotel is not overcrowded as not too big. Nikolita and Mario working the outside bar are great hosts. Can spend hours just having chats with them. Location was fantastic as the beach is around the corner. There were few occasions where I missed dinner service hours due to travelling. However, there's a great spot Sofias around the corner that do Greek cuisine at great price. Location is great too! about 30 minute walk to old town of Rathymno, 5 euro taxi trip or electric scooter. Nights spent in Bora Bora beach bar (5 minutes from hotel) and LUX in old town. Do recommend, Rooms are extremely clean! Loved the fact bathroom and shower units are separated. Air conditioning in room is very effective, were couple of nights where I underestimated and did get cold.
Cons: I had a car rented, it's very rare to find parking in front of the hotel. Ended up parking by the beach just a short stroll away.
6.7 Good
Pros: really good breakfast with lot of choice, and nice and helpfull staff during your breakfast
Cons: expensive for a standard room, no service, you can find much better in this area
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Superb staff - always eager and quick to help. Owner was on site every single day and always had the time for a chat. Bar staff were fantastic - you never waited more than a couple of minutes.

Pros: Location and the staff were both excellent. Very accommodating especially on our last day when we were afforded full use of the hotel (including private showering facilities) as we had a night-time return flight to catch.
Cons: Our room was 'very tired' and much in need of re-decoration. The bathroom was extremely small. Also our bed was upstairs and the bathroom downstairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location and setting. Superb rooms and great staff
Cons: Not a lot
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location in the heart of Old Town Rethymno. Lovely setting & full of character, spacious & comfortable room, good size modern bathroom. Lovely welcoming staff.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel was very well located, staff were very friendly, attentive and generally happy to help. The room was relatively spacious and with a balcony. Bed was comfortable too.
Cons: The maisonette room is quite dated and needs to be upgraded. Especially the bathroom. I don’t think these rooms are suitable if you have children under 5 for safety reasons. The breakfast was disappointing, limited selection and the quality of the food was lower than I expected.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was nice, cozy and sufficient.
Cons: Orange juice was not real and too sweat. SPA (treatments) was a bit expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent in cute Old town area that didn't have cars. Paid parking not too far off which wasn't a big deal. Room 11 was large and had a nice patio. Several of my friends in other room had either a gorgeous ground floor deck or rooftop deck. I really loved Rethymno. Gorgeous little seaside city.
Cons: Water pressure in the morning was not good but picked up after a while. I was still able to shower. Bathroom was nice and large with a huge tub/shower combo.
7.9 Good
Pros: The terrasse of my room, and the swimming pool

Nestled on the beach, this Rethymno property is 0.1 mi (0.1 km) from Town Beach and 2.7 mi (4.4 km) from Fortezza Castle. Rethymnon Venetian Port and Rethymnon Municipal Garden are also within 3 mi (5 km).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great for kids between the various pools and beach also a contained kids playroom plus a playground. Not far from Rethymno, easy to get to by car, bus or taxi. Staff were extremely helpful and flexible. We were offered the choice of three rooms and ended up in room 922, which was the best room at the hotel between the size and the views.
Cons: Not much. The room’s shower water pressure wasn’t great at times and there weren’t many hooks for hanging towels in the bathrooms. Also the air conditioners were placed where the air from the vents would hit the beds, which made it difficult to figure out the best setting to help us sleep comfortably. We figured it out after a few nights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, in fact better than we expected:)! If it should be anything to claim, then it should be the coffe. In a 4 star hotel we really expect real coffe, not weak substitut from pulver machine. So, next year we looking forward to real espresso machines :). All the best! Erik and Elena Sandgren , room 426.
Cons: As above, the coffe...

Pros: loved it all !
Cons: It was my own fault I must learn to ask for a room off the street maybe to the back of the hotel when booking a town location This hotel has it all, fabulous Dinner and breakfast outstanding
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our second visit because we love the building and location so much
Cons: Breakfast was very disappointing. Tinned fruit, sliced bread. 5 years ago the breakfast was a delight with fresh baked bread selection, lots of fresh fruit etc. Sad that it has been downgraded.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The manager Mr Apostolis was very helpful. He carried our 2 heavy luggage up to our room on the 3rd floor and arranged for early breakfast for us as we had to leave early the next day
Cons: Climbing 3 flights of stairs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the area the hotel is situated in, we thought the staff are good helpful and efficient.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location is cenral
Cons: Dirty, towels were gray and threadbare, sheets are gray. Old and uncomfortable bed. Dirty. The ceiling in our bathroom stared leaking, God knows what, and they did not do anything about it Anytime we needed the front desk we had go around hunting for them. Way too expensive for what it is, but I wouldn't stay there again for free
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A good choice of options for breakfast including fresh fruit and cereals, toast, cheeses, cold meats, pastries and baked vegetables, bacon and eggs. Excellent location just a 1 minute stroll from the Venetian Harbour in the centre of the Old Town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Evening was very good. Staff very nice and attentive. Shower in the room was brilliant. Bed very comfortable.
Cons: Too many lights at night, from the television, the door switch and the air conditioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly helpfulness of the manager. The stylish ambience, particularly the courtyard garden. The breakfast was ok.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and beautiful suite!
Cons: There was no holder for the shower and the hot water was a bit temperamental
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great, something new every day. The people were friendly, and helpful. The room wasn't set up for a writing traveler, but that's not surprising.
Cons: I couldn't type at the desk because the chair is too short. And I whacked my leg on the same bench twice before I figured to move it. You get your room cleaned whether you want it or not. I prefer no housecleaning when I travel. It wasn't easy to find. They should send their travelers some instruction on how to find them.

Pros: Breakfast was one of the best we have experienced over the past 20 years ! Staff were excellent and always on hand to assist, overall facilities were excellent.
Cons: Cannot find any complaints with our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet was fantastic! We loved the variety. The front desk staff helped us a great deal with recommendations. We loved the pool area and the beach. Antonio was delightful and gave excellent service. Our room was very clean, comfortable and relaxing, to say the least!
Cons: More lighting over the vanity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it was a lovely hotel we had been staying up the coast and decided to stay in Rethymno for one more night and found your hotel. The staff were lovely the hotel was very clean and it had a lovely pool and a nice bar and great beach and also great value for money
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was more than what you could need. The hotel was decorated and finished to a lovely standard and the rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The food was fantastic but the staff were what made the hotel really stand out. Every single member was very friendly and helpful always. Beach was great with plenty of beds and a nice view down the coast.
Cons: Drinks were expensive compared to the surrounding tavernas and bars. But hotels often are.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is on the first line and provides its clients with the sun beads and umbrellas. The room was quite OK, with nice large bed and a balcony. However, the large bed did not have one mattress on it, but two separate mattresses, which should be noted, but it did not disturb us a lot. The breakfast was nice and had choices of hot, cold dishes, fruits and sweets. Besides, it is very nice to have a breakfast on the summer terrace facing the sea. Also the hotel has nice pool, which was nice when the sea was stormy. The pool bar serves good drinks.
Cons: When choosing the hotel by stars, you expect not only services that could be provided, but a certain level of accommodation. The furniture was quite outdated and the bathroom was also quite uncomfortable with a narrow bathtub, which made showering not too comfortable with the curtain sticking all over you. Besides, the bathroom did not have a built-in ventilation, but a window, which was obviously facing the neighbors balcony, and when our neighbors smoked our bathroom was full of the cigarette smell.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: An ideal hotel for a beach and pool holiday. Directly on the seafront.
Cons: The location is further from the town centre than we had expected, but no big problem, as there are several good restaurants close to the hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Own beach and pool nice. Good breakfast and dinner, good service, helpful with advicing activities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable hotel. Very attentive and frienbdfull personnel. Simply absolutely was better then great. Very good service everywhere
Cons: I can not find something that I did not like there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, walking distance from everything and our room facing the water was wonderful.
Cons: Our bathtub kept clogging, but was an easy fix. Maybe a bit outdated.
6.3 Good
Cons: Hotel parking is a joke. Small unpaved courtyard for 10cars

Cons: Access to the sea - stones Air condition is rather old
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is perfect, the beach is beautiful and the staff is very nice.
Cons: The hotel is old and has nothing to do with a 4 or 5 stars hotel. The rooms could be really nice but look old. Sames applies to the pool area etc...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The food the staff all was great for us. Specially Doctor Micheal who’s an extremely professional to cure you from any pains in neck, shoulder, arm etc. His knowledge about reflection and being a chiropractor it’s one of the best a ever meet in my Life. Having more then 5 years extremely daily nerve pain and he did cure me in only two treatments. What others in the world couldn’t do. ❤️
Cons: This doctor Micheal needs more promotions to visit him for any pain issues.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was friendly from the time we arrived to the time we left. I loved this place!
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Spa ,and all the Facilities. I am a member off the leading hotels off the world .Grecotel Creta Palace lived up to my expectations. Will definitely come back in high summer.

Pros: Beautiful expansive hotel with a stunning beach. Excellent facilities and plenty of dining options in the hotel. Very accommodating and attentive staff and managers. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Cons: Ants in the room and bathroom a slight problem.

Pros: I travelled to Crete for a friends wedding. The hotel was recommended and the best part was that the staff were so friendly. They made our stay amazing.
Cons: There couple have been a bit more food variety at the hotel. However there were still plenty of options to choose from
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very courteous and helpful. Although they were fully booked the night of my departure, they graciously offered late checkout without any hassle.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

7.0 Good
Pros: It was a fabulous welcome - provided with drinks and a cheese platter on arrival in the lovely courtyard restaurant. Was the best arrival of any hotel we have stayed at. The room was very large and the staff wonderful. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast, which was included in the price, and for dinner. The location was very central, close to everything in the old town, yet it was quiet.
Cons: The bathroom did not have a shower and the room (and only window) was facing a rundown building. This unfortunately required keeping the blinds closed which did make the room dark and closed in. In addition, the bathroom had a glass wall that backed on to the common staircase. This made it difficult to block the light at night and did allow for some other guest noise, including accessing of the spa on the floor above us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality, the welcome drink and snack, the unique room and many more ..
Cons: Cappuccino at breakfast is a standard in almost all 4* and 5* hotels I visited in Europe and should not be at optional costs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great and very well located. Their restaurant is rated best in the town and it had a great breakfast too.
Cons: The jacuzzi bath did not have a shower element which was a little inconvenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was top notch! I loved the courtyard where they serve breakfast and dinner. It’s filled with plants, it has a huge date palm tree, a lime tree full o& fruits, pots of plants everywhere! The candy suite that we stayed in had a balcony which was pretty secluded. We used it often, for reading books and having a glass of wine. The staff are so warm and caring and genuinely interested in us and our needs. The dinner was outstanding. They do have a reputation for being the top quality restaurant in town, but honestly, the food was even better than I expected to be. I would stay in Avli every time I’m in Rethymno, no question about it.
Cons: There is nothing not to like!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and beautiful and food was really good. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful especially Stelios (reception) who is btw a total cutie <3 for whom u will wanna come back for hehehe. He helped us a lot to find great places to have fun in rethimno and we hug him and thank him for his help. Oh and the jacuzzy was great and u have a great view of the city there as well.
Cons: I dont have anything negative to say about this place everyrhing was amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The personel, the welcome drink, the room, the bathroom, the pool on the rooftop, the breakfast, the restaurant, everything was amazing here, we wished we could have stayed longer, best hotel we staying in during our whole trip to creta!
Cons: Nothing to declare here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Greek hospitality at Avli was exceptional and exceeded any reasonable expectations - the staff and management were all friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable holiday. When we needed to leave before breakfast on a trip to Knossos they served us a beautiful breakfast in our room and a picnic for lunch. The food, drink and service was excellent and we were sad to leave Avli for now, but hope to return one day. It was a brilliant introduction to Greece for my daughter and I would strongly recommend Avli to any person on business or holiday staying in Crete.
Cons: A map of the old town would be useful for visitors that drive themselves or get a taxi from the airport. Avli organised a private taxi for us and the driver was very friendly and took us straight to the hotel, but the narrow streets in the old town can be confusing for first time visitors that are trying to locate the hotel themselves.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best service in Crete, beuatiful apartments with all the small details which make you happy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly helpful, the location is perfect and close to a car park (20€ for 2 days), they gave us a wonderful welcome aperitif, and even prepared breakfast for us the evening before a very early departure and made packed lunches for our hike with local produce! Both restaurants are great : the food at the main restaurant (also called Avli) is amazing and the food at their Cretan tapas bar (raki ba raki) was also very good and great value for money. Make sure to try the wine too!!
Cons: Loved everything !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was large and very spacious, the staff were all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in the garden restaurant which is beautiful. We also did the cooking class hosted by Katerina which was phenomenal. We would definitely recommend it!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really can’t say enough about the hotel its gorgeous, rooms are very large and clean, staff go above and beyond from the lady that over looks breakfast to the girls running the front desk. Breakfast is tasty location is amazing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good buffet breakfast - location with very nice restos around if you feel like trying a place out of the hotel although the resto is beautiful but pricy for Creta.
Cons: We didn't know you cannot access the hotel by car as it's located in the old town. So we had to leave the car about 800 m away and had to repack since we had to much luggage to drag through the crowded streets. In addition it was quite difficult to find.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you're looking for a quiet, quaint hotel in a part of the city that is away from the cheesy touristy shops, this is your place. It is located amongst winding narrow streets filled with restaurants and beautiful shops. True Greece!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Localization is top. Is a very charming hotel. Loved it
8.3 Excellent
Pros: -Very good restaurant for dinner -Very helpful and polite staff -The location is great -decoration is perfect
Cons: -Stairs to the second floor no elevator -The window was facing in the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely loved staying at the hotel! Amazing location, fancy old building, breakfast in the garden and lovely staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice 600-years old building with a great location in the center of the old city. Cozy rooms with a nice atmosphere are equipped with all the necessary things
Cons: The bed was a bit small. The view from the room to the courtyard with a restaurant.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is ridiculous, you are short walk from all the things worth doing in Rethymno. The atmosphere the room creates is also beautiful.
Cons: Room 101 was close to the dining area, so light sleepers could get woken up by diners. Shower is quite small by American standards, but what isn't in Europe? Parking is also not particularly close. It's a little difficult to check out earlier than 8AM.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location and friendly staff on check in, dinner was nice.
Cons: Need to improve the breakfast we gave up and ate breakfast in the town. Tiny bathroom for size of room and really needed updating.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cozy antique construction converted to hotel. Excellent located in the middle of the old city although a bit far (2km) from sandy beaches. The local restaurant offers good dishes but a bit expensive compared to the plethora of other offers surrounding the hotel.
Cons: The sleeping room #108 has both windows facing the stairway patio which is covered and so, no fresh air can enter. The only way was to let the livingroom door open and to get some through the livingroom window. The old town has vehicle circulation restriction and so be prepared to carry your luggages from the parking place (outside old town) up to the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a beautiful building, in a beautiful part of a beautiful island. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Beach not far. History a plenty. Great staff A dream stay!

Cons: Everything perfect

Pros: The hotel was a lovely, peaceful oasis in the city. It's located perfectly to explore the city and the surrounding areas. The staff were very accommodating and always happy to give advice on activities, directions and where to eat. The rooms were lovely and nicely decorated. The breakfast was fabulous and we always looked forward to this.

Pros: Excellent location, close to the beach and lovely town. Staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel clean and felt like home. Would highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel Mythos is located in the very centrum of a beautiful town Retymno so everywhere is close. Hotel service is very nice and helpful. We felt at home!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming renovated hotel around a courtyard in the middle of the old town. Great room on two levels - plunge pool area delightful - excellent continental breakfast with fresh orange juice. Not accessible by car but there are local car parks and taxis and bus station 15 minute walk. Staff are all excellent, very helpful, nothing too much trouble and very friendly. We will return
Cons: Nothing - we travelled by bus from Chania - excellent bus service and we took a taxi to hotel from bus station. we were dropped a few minutes walk from hotel as hotel inaccessible by car
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The family team at Mythos suits were amazing and couldn’t have done more to make our Crete experience one to remember!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very lovely family run business in the heart of the old town! Location could not be better, walking distance from the beach, restaurants, bars, shopping.. we loved this place! Spacy and elegantly decorated room. Breakfast was very good. Hopefully we have a chance to return this little nice hotel! Excellent choice in Rethymon old city!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is amazing- small and sweet with excellent staff. It is located in the old town, however it is kind of hidden to others, and not noisy. So don't worry about the noise. Hotel is close to all the restaurants, shops and Venetian harbor. Beautiful beach is in a walking distance. Breakfast was good, fresh orange juice was served every morning. We loved both the city of Rethymno and Mythos hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool is small because it is in a charming small courtyard. Great for a refreshing dip but not suitable for swimming lengths or pool games. Courtyard is pretty and appealing. Reception and all staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. Good English spoken, and German too. A friendly boutique hotel which is very central. As it is in the old town, in an interesting shopping street, taxis can drop you at the door but not minivans. Peaceful location at night with lots of good restaurants close-by.

Pros: The room was kept immaculate. ALL the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfasts were superb...such choice. The whole Civitas experience was outstanding for us both. We are so glad we found it, as we shall be returning, and also telling our friends about it. Thee is also so much to do around the area of Rethymnon, and the shops and restaurants are so good, with some exciting eateries.
Cons: Enjoyed the whole experience.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is perfect for exploring the old town
Cons: Hand held shower??
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Civitas is situated in a very central, vibrant part of Rethymno, although the room was nice and quiet. The Old Town is only 10-15 minutes walk. The hotel is beautiful and the staff friendly & helpful. The room was very comfortable and well appointed with good quality fittings. Breakfast provided was very nice including fresh bread and pastries.
Cons: There's nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room 10 with the balcony was lovely. There was cleaning every day and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with full service restaurant right outside with discounted prices. A five minute walk to beaches.
Cons: Our first room did not have a balcony and I was disappointed. She said they could give us a different room in two days when the current guests were leaving, and they did.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was pretty basic but suited us perfectly. Everything else was great.
Cons: The bathroom could have done with a bit more tender love and care, sealants could do with being renewed, cheap and easy to do and makes a big difference the perception of cleanliness.
7.5 Good
Pros: The property in centrally located for exploring the old town.
Cons: The bookings.com facilities said parking was available at the facility (see property facilities), however that is very misleading as the parking is a 5 minute walk from the facility and you have to pay for it.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location and staff politeness
Cons: Not a boutique hotel. Mediocre decoration. Squeeky bathroom door. Noisy fridge at night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Central but quiet. Parking quite near. Helpful staff. Good breakfast, coffee a bit rough.
Cons: Photos rather misleading. What I thought was a private terrace was the street level restaurant. Some rooms a bit dark. Odd layout of some rooms. Fortunately mine quite normal with very decent views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marvelous hotel. Very central location. Great breakfast. Comfy beds. Beautiful ambience. Our room was attractive. Bathroom shower was terrific. Though in a busy neighborhood, the rooms are supersoundproofed and very quiet. And the staff was so friendly and helpful - they were the best.!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff service is very good with a nice buffet breakfast on the terrace. Location is brilliant, close to old town and beside beach. Nightlife is also close by.
Cons: A little tea or coffee could have been provided in the hotel room. The integrated refrigerator door needs work as it scrapes on the ground when opening or closing.
