Pros: Great hotel, all the grandeur of the old times with top quality and highly efficient service. The historic floor is like walking back in time. Concierge service one of the best ever. In some room categories you have a buttler. Breakfast superb, efficient, no delays. Location : perfect.

Pros: 2 steps to Nevsky Metro, very comfortable hotel, excellent stuff, very nice building, everything is super inside and outside

Cons: Expensive breakfast compared to other restaurants in the city.

Pros: Location, facilities, cleanliness, service.

Cons: Did place twin beds together, rather than separated, but I didn't complain. Electronics a bit dated, and view of court yard mediocre.

Pros: Spectaculaire. The view from the terrace incredible, very kind staff, excelent breakfast and roomservice.

Pros: Excellent Service It was a good tip not to book a room overlooking the inner court. The rooms with outside windows are much better due to the view. Excellent location near the Museum of Russian Art.

Pros: Beautiful building with rich history.

Cons: Staff does not seem to be motivated and sometimes answering simple questions brings difficulties. Staff is incapable of helping and providing crucial information when really needed, which in my view is a major failure. The day we were leaving, we checked out at the reception and were also offered to book a car that would take us to railway station. When we stepped outside, the street was quiet and we wondered around for a while thinking what’s going on, looking at the time, since the train departure was half an hour away and no transfer car seen on the horizon. Only after some time we’ve realized that the city center is completely closed down due to Marathon event. Nobody in the hotel cared to mention that to us, just call a car which will never come and guests miss a train or even a plane. Very helpful indeed!!! Luckily we did not have that much luggage and are fit to run for the metro. We managed to get to the train just before the doors were closed, due to a hell of a run soaking from sweat. Hotel really has failed us with that one :( The room looked like a 3 star hotel, ceiling deformation arching above the corridor, bathroom surfaces being close to the end of their lifecycle, missing toothpaste and toothbrushes. In general, that hotel needs renovation and fixing all over and it’s pretty obvious. Breakfast was ok but again not 5 star, maybe 4. Nothing outstanding, just a basic set. Some dishes were not the best quality.

Pros: When it rained there was plenty of restaurant options inside the hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons: The only things I didn’t like was the elevator to get to the 2 restaurants and ATM opens into a cleaning closet. I was in a wheelchair so the beautiful staircase was not an option for me. Also the sidewalk in front of hotel was terrible for the wheelchair. It could use a grate over the drained for the wheelchair to roll over and broke block/bricks ahoy be replaced. Had I not been in a wheelchair after after breaking my leg in Moscow I wouldn’t have a single complaint about the hotel.

Pros: The hotel is extremely beautiful with wonderful facilities. However, the wifi didn't work in our room and the bed was a hard mattress with a lumpy topper. Not good enough for deluxe.

Pros: Great location. Walking distance from the Saviour on spilled blood and Nevsky Prospect. Very comfortable bed and spacious room with a bath. Very easy chek in an check out. We were only there for one night so did not interact with the staff really.

Cons: The deluxe room has a weird ceiling that makes it less confortable, but the location of the hotel, staff, and everything else is so good that's really not a problem.

Pros: The hotel was modern. Our room was large, clean and quiet with an excellent shower and comfortable bed. The staff were wonderful and always helpful. Breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold foods and the hotel has a good restaurant for dinner when you are too tired to go out. It also has its own beer. It is situated just off Nevsky Ave with lots of shops and restaurants nearby but a bit of a way from the major tourist sights - about a 20 min walk to the Hermitage.

Cons: The lifts were very slow. Use the stairs.

Pros: Room was well stocked and the breakfast had a good selection. It even had free vodka if that's your morning tipple.

Pros: My husband had an infected tooth when we arrived. The young man on reception arranged a dental appointment at a wonderful clinic with a translator, and arranged a taxi to get us there. We were upgraded to an apartment. It was superb service the whole time we were there. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, giving us room to spread out over the four days. The hotel is right on the main street through St Petersburg and was an easy walk to sites such as the Fabergé Museum. The breakfast was good.

Cons: The curtains were thin letting in the early morning light. We were on the ground floor and there was some noise from people talking near the window, but it didn’t go on too late.

Pros: Central location in front of Nevsky prospect, in the city center can go many places by walk, fantastic.

Pros: Good location & friendly staffs. Staff at cafe apply flexibility to cater for us to have coffee and snack on Saturday morning half an hour early from scheduled operating hours as we need to catch an early flight.

Cons: Some rooms need to go through many steps to get to room & inconvenient for carrying luggages on check out.

Cons: missing shelves in the room- with them could be more comfortable to arrange clothes

Pros: Very central, 3-5 minute walk to Palace Square or nearest subway station. Lots of cafes nearby. Clean bathroom and room overall.

Pros: One of the best locations in St.Pete. A quiet place, close to everything. The breakfast is good compared to other mini-hotels there.

Cons: The drawback is absence of AC. You can open your window but some people are smoking just below your window and the smoke goes into the room. It's important to know that there is no lift. If it matters to you - better to live on the second floor.

Pros: Staff are super. Great central location a few minutes walk from the Hermitage and Nevskiy Prospect. Just right for my frequent visits to Peter!

Pros: One cannot underestimate the importance of location. Just a few steps around the corner and you are there, on a famous Nevsky Prospect (avenue) and very close to a number of exquisite landmarks. Staff were excellent and helped us to find a self-service laundromat, which was very much needed after spending several busy days traveling around Karelia region. They were also observant, noticed that we were in a hurry and offered us to start our breakfast if we're happy to get what was ready.

Cons: Tiniest room. Our suitcases protested when we squeezed them in and out :) Probably more suitable for one person.

Cons: Staff at the reception was not so friendly Shockingly I picked a bottle of water from the house cleaning trolley and the lady at the reception called me and said I stole bottle of water ..I guess guests are not suppose to hear this from the hotel staff that we STEAL a bottle of water ...was very sad Also only one person at bell desk who comes after 20 to 25 mins and leaves your bags on the road doent bother to wait for the taxi and put the stuff in the car..noone brothers even after requesting to help.

Pros: The staff were brilliant especially the lady at reception-Valeria, in the restaurant- Julia and the concierge - Tatiana. For us the location was great as we enjoyed walking to the main attractions.

Pros: Liked the building outside. Friendly, helpful staff. To find your way in the building was rather complicated. Liked the furniture i gourmet bar/lobby very much.

Cons: The place around reception. Often very crowded with guests. It's to narrow. On the other side it gives the staff good overlook over who is entering the building. Gives feeling of safety. The lightning could have been better

Pros: Good place. Good neighborhood with the downtown.

Cons: Luxury number didn't have a tap in the restroom, and I had to run between restroom and bathroom through all rooms. It's so strange for expensive number. Very cheaply furniture. Didn't work the A/C (it was very cold in number). Generally it have not to cost so expensive for that level of service.
