Pros: The best feature of this hotel are the staff. Jo, Marcos, Yan took fantastic care of me during my stay at Aram Yami and even after I left the hotel and stayed at a different hotel amarelindo in Pelourinho they continued to help me as the other hotel did not. They were attentive, made helpful suggestions to maximise my trip to enjoy Salvador and were very informative. They helped call ubers for me and were very sweet. Nothing seemed like an effort and they were the best! The hotel environment was clean, breakfast was wonderful and the views were lovely. I recommend Aram Yami to guests who want a wonderful sleep, attentive customer service and wonderful food! I would give more than a 10++++ as the rating. The neighbourhood is characteristic and fun and so close to walk to Pelourinho so it’s much better to stay in Santo Antônio than a touristic area like Pelourinho. I would love to return! You will be so thankful for booking a stay here. There are lots of bars& restaurants that are so nearby!

Pros: I cannot say enough positive things about our one-night stay at Aram Yamí. We are normally relatively 'rugged' travelers, and we were worried that we'd feel out of place in such high-end accommodations. But the stellar staff welcomed our travel-worn, backpack-toting selves with cold juices and notable friendliness. This was an end-of-honeymoon splurge for us, and it was worth every penny. In fact, after seeing the breakfast spread, my husband declared that the price would have been worth it just for that! Since we only stayed one night, we really tried to make the most of it -- took an afternoon dip in the pool, enjoyed the amazing view and sunset over the harbor from the pool deck, took an evening stroll in the neighborhood, had appetizers/cocktails at one local restaurant and dinner/wine at another, slept like babies in the comfortable bed and air-conditioned room, and spent hours the next morning sitting on the patio savoring the gourmet breakfast. The staff were also kind enough to hold our bags for the afternoon, since we had a late flight out of town that evening. Everything about this experience made us smile. Thanks, Aram Yami!

Pros: The breakfast was really good. I love the fresh fruits, the eggs were delicious and many different breads and pastries. Nice selection of jam. Coffee was great. Pool area nice although the smokers seem to congregate there.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable. This is my second time here and I had a higher room category and it was worth it! Nice space, lots of towels, very good housekeeping and cold A/C. Felipe and Claudio were so helpful in advising for a safe experience as a single female traveling alone. Of course the breakfast is my favorite although sometimes the suco is a bit too sweet. The pool is clean and well maintained.

Pros: This place is wonderful! It has a very friendly staff, is situated near Pelourinho and the breakfast is great. I also loved the terrace swimming pool and the rooms are very clean.

Pros: Very clean, quiet, modern, air conditioning worked well, nice room, good lighting, delicious breakfasts, friendly and courteous staff, I didn’t speak much Portuguese but the staff was good about using Google Translate to communicate. Would definitely stay again next visit.

Pros: Location, location, location (English joke). Right on top of the action in Pelourinho. Even better from our street front balcony. Nice spa ious room. Good breakfast. Good security considering area and crowds. Staff helpful despite lack of shared language (spanish or english).

Pros: The pictures advertised do not match reality :) I’m very easy going and low maintenance so it’s not an issue (and we only stayed one night cause detoured for a few nights to Morro de São Paulo island) - having said that, the pousada could be a lot better! Or, at least show the real pics ha. The pousada is in a very centric area, that was good.

Pros: When we arrived we were hot and tired and Eduardo the owner, was super friendly and brought us some cold water to drink straight away! Then our room faced the street which is right next to largo de Pelourinho so we could stand on our balcony and watch the olodum drummers. It was magical! Breakfast was big and the staff were all smiley and friendly.

Pros: The position of the pousada was excellent, right in the heart of the old town . The breakfast was typical Brazilian , but adequate for our needs . The staff were all friendly and welcoming , even though nobody spoke English . Our room was at the back of the Pousada , and had wonderful views over the bay and was very quiet . The 40 steps up to our floor was a bit of a challenge ...but good for our fitness . We stayed in this fabulous vibrant town for 7 day's , and enjoyed every moment .

Pros: Nice to enjoy a preserved old mansion as an inn with one of the most beautiful views of the city (from your room, if you reserved it with a view; from the breakfast room; or from the rooftop lounge [no bar there, but BYOD and have a breathtaking view]).

Pros: The location is excellent if you want to stay at the historical centre area, it is walking distance to many landmarks/local stores/bars/restaurants. Also, the breakfast was ok, simple but tasty. The main attraction is the ocean view at the breakfast room. Some of the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a city tour with Ademir, and it was quite fun!

Pros: The location is quite good, you'll be pretty much close to the main attractions in Pelourinho. Also, the view from the breakfast room is amazing :)

Pros: The location of the property is very good in a quiet neighborhood (if that exists in this noisy city). We took the boat to Morro de Sao Paulo from the port and for that purpose the location of the property is excellent (located right next to the elevator to the lower town). It is a 2 minutes walk to the the part of Pelourinho where the colonial architecture starts.
