Pros:I liked how close it was to the Alamo and to the Riverwalk. Also how it had shops and restaurants really close, walking distance, away.
Cons:1) I booked from a third party site which doesn't confirm you get the room you chose, it only holds a room (they don't say what kind) for you. 2) There is $40 parking that they don't tell you about (prob best to park across the street and walk). 3) there is no complimentary breakfast. Plates start at $12 a person (McDonald's is literally right around the corner). 4) the staff wasn't helpful when I asked about the room issue and why I got a diff one than I signed up for, they were more ready to give sarcasm then actually helping.5) the rooms were clean but there were still stains on the faucet and tub that looked greasy.

Pros:Location was awesome.. the hotel lobby was really nice.
Cons:The room was 80 degrees went we got to the room. The AC struggled to cool the room which never cooled down. The hallways were Hotter than that. The bar closed too early on a Saturday night too! We will never stay there again! Plus I had to park my F250 across the street because my stock pick up wouldn’t fit in the parking garage! Really

Pros:Housekeeping was fast. Location on the river walk was very convenient.
Cons:The room and bathroom were very small. There was also a very strong scent of perfume that was overwhelming when you walked into the hotel. We noticed it every time we came into the hotel during our stay. It was almost nauseating. Parking was expensive. It was the week of Thanksgiving and the front desk seemed to be severely understaffed.

Pros:Hotel had lots of activities planned for families and kids, including egg hunt and wake up call by the Easter bunny. Super friendly staff and very clean. Excellent access to the mall and food court area for those that like different tastes on a budget, but also quick access to very nice restaurants as well.
Cons:Some of the activities were at the other Marriott across the street

Pros:The hotel was great and the staff was nice as well by accommodating you with the services and room. We had a great view and we could just walk downstairs to the river walk. The river walk was close but the places we wanted to go to were further than expected. Overall the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter was great especially since it has a mall right down stairs.
Cons:I did not like that you had to pay for parking. Your paying a price you would think that that would be included. Also there was no mini fridge in the room for food.
