The Good The hotel was beautiful! The location was great, right next door to Moscone. The food at Trace was great. The staff was always helpful with a smile. Pros (+) The rooms and staff are great! Food was good and within reason. It was great location in the city and easy to get to places of interests.
Cons (-) The hip club scene is in the damn lobby. Not on a roof or an area where you can avoid. Don't get me wrong, I love having a hip place with a party, but put it so I don't have to walk through it or hear it as I return back from my day. Too bad it's designed that way.

Pros (+) Location is great, right next to MoMA and couple of blocks away from Market Street. Great fitness center. Bed was extremely comfortable. 40% off was a great deal.
Cons (-) Room was bit small. There was an uncleaned coffee cup (and remained uncleaned throughout my stay), a towel in the sink, and no bottled water when I checked in.

Cons (-) Very poor service. A fraudulent charge from the restaurant was added to my room charge. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they became very accusatory and combative. Very, very disappointing!

Pros (+) I loved the staff! They were nice and very friendly! I also liked how we were able to communicate through texting and they replied very quickly.
Cons (-) I asked for more conditioner for our stay, but we didn't get any extra. I also didn't like how there wasn't room for water or food in our fridge, but overall I loved this place! Definitely booking a room at the W in the future!

Pros (+) Great location. The staff were very very friendly. The ambience was hip. The room, although had no view was very well decorated and filled to the brim with mini bar treats. The price, although not cheap, was probably one of the better in the areas for a clean non-scary establishment. I would stay here again!
Cons (-) $63 for parking!!! Youch! That's probably standard in the city. Your $300 a night room just went up to almost $400.

Pros (+) Great centrally located property. Rooms were very zen, beds super comfy and lots of cool little details that made the stay pleasant.
Cons (-) Staff was hit or miss. I get that they want to create a chic vibe but a smile wouldn't kill anyone. Did get the requested high floor room with some semblance of a view.... granted our flight arrived at 5pm on a holiday weekend makes sense why they couldn't accommodate that request.

Cons (-) Carpet was very dirty, stained, there was not enough space in the room and pictures online were deceiving. The air conditioning was not working including the fan, the room felt warm even when the air conditioning showed a lower temperature. Very Noisy. Staff was not helpful when asked to move to a bigger room.
