9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, the food in the buffet was good and gym was actually good too.
Cons: Buffet staff was great and good personality. Though the staff at reception could be more attentive and friendly. It was sad to see an 80 year old woman have to push her own luggage cart all the way to her room while 3 people at reception were just looking. You should have someone assigned in the front to help with luggage.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Everything was good
4.5 Okay
Pros: The room was OK, we were placed by the pool - to much noise.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: I didn’t like anything! Room was dirty, doors handles were sticky. There was a plate outside our room since we got there and it was never picked throughout our stay. Mirror in the room were super dirty and there was a lot of hairs throughout the bathroom. We called front desk to complain but they didn’t have any other room available. Wort experience ever! I travel a lot for work but this has been one if the worst experiences ever. Breakfast was horrible eggs tasted bad and breakfast potatoes were like sponges. Besides that you have to make your own waffles tables didn’t have utensils and to get coffee I had to wait like 15 min. So disappointed! The pool water looked super cloudy! Just horrible!
Cons: Nothing everything was horrible!
6.8 Good
Pros: I received a very good deal for a spacious and clean room.
Cons: Wi-fi was very slow, and the staff was not very helpful in addressing. The restaurant/bar (where I only ate once) was mediocre, but on par with what you find in that area.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bed too soft. Need raised toilet for handicap room.
Cons: Same as above

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The included breakfast was a real bonus, and made the stay more worthwhile. peaceful and quiet stay, and pleasant staff.
Cons: Rooms were a little worn and dated, but not too bad. I didn't know this was more of a motel than a hotel, but I should have paid more attention.
6.8 Good

Cons: Not much in the area other than retail parks, chain restaurants and shops. Nothing to write home about
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean room
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room layout. Comfortable king bed. Huge bathroom area with a huge makeup mirror, separate room with toilet and a full size shower. Door separated all this from where the bed was so I was able to make coffee here and not disturb my husband's sleep
Cons: Not the greatest location. Safe enough but didn't want to take the car out again. Nowhere really to shop and besides a Burger King, nothing noteworthy to eat at.
5.8 Okay
Pros: I like how the room had a fridge and a microwave also loved the big bathroom
Cons: I did not like how the ice cup to fill up ice had trash in it. Also did not like how the pillows were too flat for me
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean Starbucks and Taco Bell next door
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious room. Good breakfast.
Cons: No elevator
10.0 Excellent
Pros: OVER ALL EVERYTHING WAS GREAT BUT WHAT IS REALLY AMAZING ABOUT THIS BEST WESTERN IN SANTA MARIA BESIDES ALL THE OTHER ONES I'VE BEEN TO, IN DIFFERENT STATES AND CITIES: 1) THEY GIVES YOU THAT TEXT MESSAGE THAT YOUR ROOM IS READY. 2) THE HOUSE KEEPER ARE WELL TRAINED AND APPRECIATE THEY'RE JOB FOR WHEN A GUEST CHECKS OUT AN LEAVE ANYTHING THEY TAKE A PICTURE OF THE IDEM THAT WAS LEFT AND REPORTS THIS TO THE SUPERVISOR AND YOUR CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY WITH AN TEXT MESSAGE OR CALL TO CONTACT THE HOTEL ABOUT YOUR BELONGINGS THAT WAS LEFT; WITH THAT BEING SAID THE HOUSE KEEPER IS REWARDED FOR HIS/HER DEVOTION TO THE COMPANY AND THE RESPECT OF THE GUEST; THIS TYPE OF CONSIDERATION SHOW THEY GRATITUDE FOR THE COMPANY THEY WORK FOR. 3) I ALSO LIKES THE DESK CLERK ALWAYS SO WELCOMING AND GREETS YOU WITH A SMILE AND THEY REMEMBERS EACH GUEST, LIKE EVERY ONE IS HAPPY TO BE AT WORK, AND THE CONVENIENCES OF THE SHOPPING CENTER AND FAST FOOD.
Cons: OH MY LORD...;) JOINTED ROOMS IS NOT MY FAVORITE. I DON'T TRUST THAT EXTRA ROOM UNLESS I AM HAVING A GIRLS NIGHT AND WE BOOK TWO ROOMS AND WE NEED TO HAVE THAT SPACE TO SHARE THE TWO ROOMS AS ONE HUGH ROOM . SO INSTEAD OF WALKING OUTSIDE THE DOOR WE CAN JUST WALK RIGHT THROUGH EACH OTHERS ROOM. BUT MY TRIPS AREN'T FOR THAT. SO NO JOINT ROOMS FOR ME....;)

Pros: Staff directed us to the best dining experience you could expect ,for last minute reservations .My hats off to staff .Can not remember their names but thank you very much for making our pass through drive memorial .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small, but nice pool area, really good breakfast with fresh fruit and nice personnel.
Cons: All was very good, if I would change one thing is the amount of waste that is unnecessarily produced by guests during breakfast. The hotel could place milk in a dispenser and not serve tge small paper tetrapack containers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The desk clerk was Fabulous! Kind & professional. We forgot our shampoo -there were 3 of us-she gave us 2 extra bottles =) Very clean room-comfortable beds. Right off the freeway-however we did not hear any noise. Slept very well.
Cons: That we had to leave so soon ...would have stayed longer if we could =) Will definitely come back to this hotel !
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: I was given a handicapped room and it was hard to use the shower, closet and things inside the room since we are not disabled.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Unfortunatly the Spa & Pool were cold due to a heating issue.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and nice!
Cons: There were 4 of us in one room (2 queen beds) and the room felt a little small.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Mattress hurt my back, but many do. Santa Maria itself was a disappointment after many years.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable, room was good
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: My worst hotel experience ever!! The staff was horrible and very rude. We travel a lot and never had anything like this. Stay away from this hotel
Cons: Staff very rude. Gave us a room right next to lobby, very noisy, even though we booked 3 months in advance and asked for a quiet room. They said that since we booked through booking.com and not Marriott website they gave us the worst room in the hotel and they didn’t care if we are happy or not. Super rude. Stay away from this hotel!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and very helpful. Facilities were great and in a good location - easy to walk to shops, restaurants etc.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Employees were kind and accommodating. We basically needed a convenient place to stay for the Thanksgiving holiday that included breakfast and this was a good choice for that.
Cons: No in room safe—one had to be brought in. Room location was noisy—faced a loud go-cart race track. Not enough seating in the breakfast area leaves people staring at you for your table and with so many people it was very loud first thing in the morning.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: No coffee sticks in the room to stir the coffee I made in my room. Not enough sugar or creamer either.

4.3 Okay
Pros: Overall nice but old musty smell.
Cons: Did not look clean...almost did not want to lay on the bed. Musty smelling room, very old. Should have paid less.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. I liked that this hotel has everything I need (Barber/Beauty salon, dining, bar, room service) on the premises.
Cons: The only inconvenience was the vending machines and ice machines were out of order.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the personality of the place. From the room decor, wood paneling and the expresso shop with their freshly baked pastries it is classy and unique and homey. The staff was great!!! I want to go back to explore this hotel more! I want to try the restaurant and the wine and martini bar! What an awesome find!!!!
Cons: Honestly the only thing wrong was that the elevator was a little creaky and the carpeting was clean but a little worn out.
6.8 Good
Pros: Big hotel and the outside is very pretty (garden and pool)
Cons: For the amount we paid, we were put in the older section which I found very creepy and a little run down. Went back to front desk and They said the newer section was completely booked. For what I paid, I could have stayed in another hotel that was more to my likings.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quaint historical site. Easy access, staff was friendly.
Cons: An additional $30 dollar charge showed up on my credit card, after discussing it with the staff, they said it was for potential incidentals or problems. After inquiring, it was removed. I wonder how may people check this and if it's automatically removed?
4.3 Okay
Pros: They moved us when the bathroom didn’t have latch.
Cons: Very old and no privacy for bathroom.

Cons: No.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Our room was huge! We liked that the window opened up all the way-we slept with the window open to let the cool night air in.
Cons: It was kind of tricky to turn on the bathtub. We had to call to the front desk  but employee was really nice about our calling for help on such a silly matter. You have to grab the handle at the base and pull out (really hard) then turn the handle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the hotel was very nice. The pool and hot tub were nice. The bar area was nice. the only problem I had was I was there celebrating my son's 12th birthday and we had cake. Pros: Room size and great staff
Cons: Hard floors could have been cleaner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, clean room. We liked it.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: TV didn't work very well and the spa was closed or didn't work.
7.0 Good
Pros: We enjoyed our stay the room was right in front of the pool so we had a really nice view and I would definitely stay here again just hoping it won't be as expensive next time as many motels in the area are pretty sketchy
Cons: Though we enjoyed our stay and the room was very nice we did have a few complaints for the price I paid(over $625 for 3 nights) it was a little pricey the floors in our room really needed a good mopping, the bed though the mattress was fine the frame(springs) squeaked anytime you turned over in bed, also room above us had hard woods flooring as well which sometimes was very loud when they would walk across the room. The vending machine for the drinks(soda) kept eating our dollar bills and most of the flavors of soda were sold out(very few choices) and the snack vending machine was almost empty, very few choices as well..I think our biggest disappointment was the continental breakfast the pictures showed eggs and many other choices and there were no eggs and very few choices kinda a big let down when you're expecting to actually eat some breakfast there
4.5 Okay
Pros: I’m glad staff was understanding and apologetic about the occurrence and gave me a full refund.
Cons: I found a roach crawling on the table in our room (129) I immediately informed the office and asked for a full refund.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location is good, not far from FWY, quite clean inside.
Cons: Very noisy, you hear neighbors and people who walk near your door. The door is super old, they need to fix it. The same with the door to bathroom. The place is not good value for money at all. I didn’t feel safe there. And breakfast is closing at 9, while nobody said about it during check in.

The age to check-in at the Days Inn-Santa Maria is 21 and over.
6.3 Good
Cons: There was a coffee machine in the room that didn’t even work, the plug was super short wasn’t convenient, plus all the outlets in the room were in the most inconvenient spots. I wasn’t allowed to have friends come through just to hangout in my room which I think is kind of ridiculous considering I’m paying for my own room. And I definitely thought the breakfast would have more of a variety, honestly one of the only reasons I chose that hotel and it was a little disappointing.
7.0 Good
Pros: Quiet room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean. They let me check in a few minutes early.
Cons: The pillows!
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was very clean. The bed, comfortable. The pool looked nice and clean. Good location near a shopping center and restaurants.
Cons: It was right on a main street and we had to turn the air conditioning on to drown out street noise. There were many rooms away from the street, but we were not given one. There was a dog in the next room that howled during the day but we requested that the noise stop and it was not howling at night.
7.0 Good
Pros: A basic quiet motel. Nice and clean room. Very comfortable bed!
Cons: The location is a little bit spooky, but everything worked out well. The breakfast was too poor. At 09:30 was nothing left for the rest of the customers.
6.8 Good
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds. Affordable.
Cons: Poor location. Though just off Highway/easy to get to, it's on a strip with fast food restaurants, gas stations, etc. If you want charm, this is not it. Regrettably, they put the pool in front of the motel so your view and soundtrack is the main road/strip. Not relaxing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you're looking for an inexpensive hotel this place was it. Its 2 star but clean with a comfortable bed. Staff was nice, location was near the highway. No complaints.

7.0 Good
Pros: Price. Good place to rest when on the road.
Cons: Seems a little worn down and don’t expect too many amenities. HOWEVER, place to rest. Greet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern motel, with wood floor instead of carpet and great furniture! Good location, great for a stop for a night of sleep in the way to San Diego. We had a great surprise with the complementary coffee, toast and danish in the morning
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean
8.0 Excellent
Pros: For a mid-summer weekend at the coast I thought the price was very reasonable. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was nice.
Cons: After I booked the room and left an online note that I would be arriving late, I got phone calls from the hotel at 5:30 and 9:30 wanting to know where I was and when I would be getting there. This seemed a bit nosy and unprofessional.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Scarce breakfast, room expensive for value (we have paid less in other more touristic sites in California for rooms better than these and with more abundant breakfast)
5.0 Okay
Cons: Bed was extremely hard. Like sleeping on a board. Had to ask management for blanket. No shelves in refrigerator. Phone did not work. No charger for cell phones. No hangers. Toilet seat about ready to fall off
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Reasonably priced accommodations very near the Betteravia shopping center.
Cons: Wasn't particularly fond of the layout with all rooms facing a big and sometimes busy courtyard.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s nice & cozy. A simple room, we only stayed one night so it was not bad at all.
Cons: They gave us the disability room which was odd. Had a lot of space for someone with a wheelchair but other than that room was pretty empty. No hair dryer & bed squeaks every time you turn in it

Pros: Price and location, plus between Solvang and Paso Robles is a great place to stay.
Cons: Read reviews AFTER I booked about rude staff, however I had the opposite. Greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome. Started with a smile and ended with one too.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean
Cons: Smoke detector was just hanging by its wires. Bedside lamp wasn’t plugged in and the plug was not possible for me to reach. Tub drain plug was broken. No outlets near bed, so nowhere to conveniently plug in phones. It seemed expensive for the location and quality. Also the doors were thin and cheap so you could hear everything going on outside.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The motel is clean, comfortable and well managed. The motel may not look spacial from outside, but the rooms are comfortable and updated. One of the nicest stays I had on my long trip. Great value for money.

4.3 Okay
Pros: We booked 2 rooms. Room 251 bathroom was not cleared it had trash in the bathroom trash can and stains on the toilet seat. Room 253 had dirty towels on the floor and hair on the sheets and pillows. It also was very obvious the floors were not vacuumed or swept.
Cons: The only thing I liked was the receptionist up front, she was friendly.
7.0 Good
Pros: Easy to find, good carpark
Cons: No fridge, TV didn't work
10.0 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION. Also, I booked this room for my adult daughter to attend a softball tournament and could not attend due to health. the staff were great in letting me pay in advance allowing my daughter to check in with ease.
Cons: air not being on when guests returned from a long, hot day playing softball
7.5 Good
Pros: Clerk at frontcoute was cheerful, helpful, efficient.
Cons: wife had severe allergens reaction In the room and in the immediate area. Usually not allergic to anything!
6.3 Good
Pros: The floors in the rooms and the shower stall.
Cons: For the price of the room and not to have breakfast of any kind I thought was crazy. Because of these two issues I will probably never stay at another one of their hotels.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Spider crawling in my bed, bed cover stained. Motel 6 has disappointed my view of staying at this motel again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff facilitated a change of room assignment after smoke odor in first room was very apparent. Room very clean and comfortable. TV service much superior to the other Motel 6 located on Main Street, Santa Maria, where we stayed last weekend. Also everything worked as it was designed to (again superior). Competent and friendly staff let us know that we could ask them questions or voice concerns at any time.
Cons: The location just off of Broadway is too close to the freeway. Car and truck noise is constant on every side of the facility.
7.0 Good
Cons: Staff kind of sucked eggs after staying a few days. I prefer a consistent level of energy in hospitality, wether that’s sucky or fantastic energy from start to finish. As someone who has worked in hotels from laundry attendant to front desk ..... I KNOW I go far out of my way to make their jobs entirely too easy and if I am consistently friendly with staff I would hope to never get a disappointing response from them.... but here we are. Everything else was as any motel should be. Would stay again... just might not clean the room for them and definitely ask for a late check out next time. Egg suckers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everytime i stay there the motel Clerks are more than friendly respectful and have a great attitude .
Cons: Xxxxxxxx
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed to spend time with my family
Cons: We aren't be able to have a room service
1.0 Poor
Pros: Extremely not good .
Cons: Horrible . Everything .
7.0 Good
Pros: Love that it doesn't have carpeting. It looks cleaner than most hotels.
Cons: Well, it is a double edged sword. No carpeting means there is more noise from the upstairs room. But, I would always take a non carpeted from now on. Cleaner.

6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was very pleasant the room was quite large for a Motel 6
Cons: The room just wasn't very clean and it was very spartan.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: My Credit card was given to the property for late check in. When I went to the property to check in my room at 12:30 am my room was given to someone else and I had to drive back home which was a 3 hour drive back to Fresno. The Asian man at this location was very rude and did not care that I had no room. He was very argumentative.
Cons: That I had reserved my room earlier that day and they had stated I had no room at the time of check in.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Service and gratitude to.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location. Right off of the freeway
Cons: Language barrier with staff. Room wasn't clean. Loose toilet, wobbled. Hair on floor that didn't belong to us. Broken lock on door between rooms. Had to move rooms. Trash surrounding property. Horrible dump
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was good .wish i could of slept more on it
Cons: The neighbors in 144 were in and out all night long .slamiing door starting there car up and leaving every ten minitues, having lots of people knocking on there door ,loud shouting talking all hours of the night...i tried calling office to inform him and if he could move me to another room but was never available...had to suffer through out the night as i had to start a new job tomorrow/today.. while the crazy night was still going on i looked at the wall behind the door and noticed a huge whole like the size of a basketball that had no patch or repair work done to it .there were ants and some type of pincher bugs coming out of it..i really hope they give me some free nights i mean they should be on there game and have standards wheres the maintenance?wheres the manager? Not worth 76 bucks
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The young women who works in the lobby is exceptional. She provided excellent customer service!
Cons: nothing
6.0 Good
Cons: The room needs more attention or detail on cleaning.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with pool view Close to the 101 highway
Cons: The bed cover was a little light for the temperature A heavier one or a small duvet would have been nice
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: When I booked online I booked for 2 people and it was 67$ and when I got to check in the doors were closed and I waited outside for about 15 minutes, I even called and no answer, then the old guy that seemed to be sleeping came out and charged me. He asked if it was one person and I said I booked for two, he charged me 88$ and he went outside to check in my car to see if I had anybody with me in my car, even tho I paid for two. I then asked him if he had any rooms in the back, he asked “why” as if I had to explain myself. Horrible customer service, not worth the money, I would of canceled but I would of lost my money. I do not recommend this place at all to anybody. Wish I could get a refund
3.3 Mediocre

Pros: It was quiet, clean, convenient, and very affordable.
Cons: I was sad that the hot tub was not working.
5.3 Okay
Pros: The hotel was in a perfect location and was pretty comfortable. Decent breakfast too I felt.
Cons: I really was dissapointed that there was no little shampoo or conditioner or any amenities in the room. Most places like this at least have that and some even have a blow dryer in the room.
6.7 Good
Pros: Full size pillows!!!!
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was close to the freeway for easy access but not so close that the guests would have to put up with the noise. The room was a good size and though there were some minor repairs nearby it stopped at a reasonable hour so overall the stay was quiet.
Cons: The room should have been aired out to give a fresh clean smell.
6.0 Good
Pros: We only slept overnight on our way to San Luis Obispo
Cons:
5.2 Okay
Pros: Close to the freeway
Cons: Older building
3.2 Mediocre
Pros: It was convenient for visiting a friend that lives in the Central Coast area
Cons: Yes! We had a bad experience with this hotel. When finishing a shower my friend was unable to turn off the water, the shower would not stop, we tried for 15 minutes to try to turn it off, we called the front desk stating that our shower was messed up and would like to get another room. The front desk proceded to send up someone to try for an additional 15-20 minutes to shut off the water, no such luck. We then had to wait another 20 minutes and 2 phone calls to the front desk to finally get someone to tell us that we could come down and get a key to another room, we then had to pack up all our stuff and move. After complaining to the front desk we still were not offered one of our nights free or even a discount. I wont stay there again!
5.2 Okay
Pros: The location and the pool
Cons: It's outdated and the carpet looks unclean. The second day they did not clean the shower. Expensive for what it is.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Pool

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: location
Cons: 1. Smell bad like a cigarette 2. Look like the other rooms were rented to low-income families 3. Unfinished room
5.5 Okay
Pros: Had hot water. AC worked. Easy check in and out.
Cons: Room needs updates. Furniture needs replacement. Smell of room deodorizer was overwhelming.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The bathroom and shower were clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a small fridge.
Cons: Grimy walls and beat-up, old furniture. A coat of paint (or perhaps just washing the walls and baseboards) would help a lot, and the furniture desperately needs replaced. I don't know why the rate was so high - maybe because there was a rodeo in town? - but it was so not worth what we paid. Thankfully we were just in town for the night.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Funny smell, lights didnt work, everything old inside
