“Felt like I was at home. I stayed here in July and in September as I was travelling the TransCanada. I was alone, tired and road weary. Both times the owners made me feel pretty much at home. They are kind people and they have a passion for their motel and for the area. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's conveniently located when driving thru, and even though it is on a main and busy road I found no disturbance by road noise. The "themed" rooms have the most gorgeous black and white photos in them (sorry not to get the photographers name), the images celebrate the region. One stay was in the Lake Superior room - and for driving by the lake twice, these photos were the only view I got, too much fog!! As an artist myself this is a fantastic decor idea.”
