Location and junior suite
Breakfast should be included in lodging charges
The staffs were very helpful and polite. They can actually communicate with you in English which is very good. The room is spacious and the view we had was splendid. We did have breakfast there only one morning but it was delicious and had lots of varieties. We had breakfast outside the hotel on the other mornings because we wanted to taste the maximum we could. The location is top top, 5 mins from Nanjing East/West Roads, 2 mins from the metro underground and also surrounded with shops and restaurants. The hotel itself has got an indoor swimming pool/Jacuzzi where it was an advantage on having on that rainy day we had during our stay in Shanghai. When you are there, don't forget to visit the sky dome which is on the 48th floor of the hotel where you have a wonderful band playing and singing at night. :) :)
Breakfast provided lots of choice and location was great, close to the metro station and walking distance to Nanjing Road for shopping. As it was nice and sunny, there were locals (and some tourists) enjoying morning exercises and dances, throughout the day across the road, nice to watch or join in.
Wanted to use the hairdressers and booked for the next day 2.00 p.m. but the hairdresser didn't turn up, said they would open up at 3.00 p.m. Ladies on reception said there was a hairdressers just down the road. Went there and had the best hairdressing experience and I believe at a third of the price.
Ok..... not sure if I should share this....... I don't want it to become too busy that I can't get back in ...lol! I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have visited Shanghai several times over the years and stayed at some good places.- and some pretty basic places. Radisson's is way up there in the favourite hotel ratings..!! Great room, great facilities, big pool and well equiped gym space, excellent staff, great food selection, fantastic restaurant and Bar at the top of the building with spectacular veiws over Shanghai, pretty good price for the quality of what you get, AND excellent location! Straight across the road from Peoples Square. Entrance to metro system is right there as well. And the top of Nanjing Pedestrian Street is 100m away ( most popular tourist shopping and people watching street which runs all the way down to the Bund...). Spent a week here this trip and just great. My search for a favourite place to stay is now over. This is now it.
