JAL has an excellent flight staff, even in economy we had a great flight
I hope they never ran out of the menu choice one makes. They often do.
JAL, like Emirates, Qatar, ANA & Singapore Air Lines is a class act. Great service and immaculate aircraft. The complete antithesis of an American Airlines or Delta flight, which are absolutely abysmal.
Pros: "Crew service was amazing - so diligent and courteous. They were incredibly well trained and I would rate their service level as being one of the most competitive within business class in Asia."
Cons: "Seats were reasonably comfortable but not as spacious in design as in other business class cabins, so that could be a concern for some travelers. Also, I was not able to convert the main menu of the entertainment system to my preferred language so it was a bit difficult to navigate (that being said, they provided a card that guided me, so it was still usable, and the entertainment selection was good!)."
Cons: "The flight was fantastic. It was a long flight but the flight attendants took excellent care to keep us comfortable."
Pros: "The crew is outstanding. A girl two seats away from me barfed and two attendants were there immediately with a bag, cleaning wipes, etc. They are very friendly and patient with passengers. The next best part was the comfort. I got a good amount of sleep on my nine-hour flight."
Cons: "The movie selection and meals were not bad, but I've had better on other airlines."

I was handled by some very rude CSA's in DFW. I was forced to check my carry-on as I was flying economy. You are now allowed only 10 kg total on all carry-on items. As my carry-on was 10 kg, and my backpack was 2 kg, I was made to check my luggage. I find this procedure unfair, as many other passengers in economy CLEARLY had more than 10 kgs. If KA insists this is their policy, then it should be enforced uniformly for everyone. TO INCLUDE Business and First Class. They are allowed 18 kg now. From my perspective....absolutely ridiculous. This was the first time in over 35 years I have been made to check my carry-on. I am EXTREMELY disappointed 😞
Customer service is not a top priority from boarding to while on flight, was belittled on boarding Some staff speak english at almost a 0% fluency
2 hour connection time in Seoul to make plane to Bangkok. Giant security lineup. Lots of worry over making flight reduced joy of flying via KE/Incheon. This was a repeat of my flight in Nov 2022, so apparently is the new normal for KE. Flight was boarding after I was forced to jog what seemed to be 2 miles from security to my departure gate. Please fix this. I still cannot understand that if you have already been screened in Canada for dangerous items, and there is no opportunity to obtain any between one plane and the next, why you should be screened AGAIN.
The airplane very small , no space for put my carry on , they tell me loads my carry on I thought they will load my carry only Seattle to San Francisco but when I get off airplane at San Francisco they just tell me load my bags from Seattle to Bangkok Why they don’t tell me before load . I told them I don’t want load my bag from Seattle to Bangkok , because my carry on had medicine. Why crew from Seattle don’t help me , they only told my go to tell luggage claim Delta

ANA’s food has really slipped. The offerings are unappetizing limp concoctions. Very little choice in drinks or large snack. The main meal consisted of either a very smelly fish flakes over rice or pancakes and almost nobody ordered the fish flakes; FAs tried to talk everyone into taking the fish. Plan better or offer more universally appealing options.
Hard to get comfortable in a small chair for 10hrs. But flight was great !

Cons: "I hated everything about this 8 hour flight. Going to and coming from Toyko. The seats were EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I had to keep adjusting my body because my lower back was in so much pain. I ordered a kosher meal for both my sister and I but they only bought it for her. When I asked where was mine they said they didn’t see my name when I was the one who bought the tickets. It was extremely frustrating. I will never fly on this airline again."

Polite hard working crew. No complaints really. Meals were not to my liking.

The crew was amazing and really nice. The OS on the entertainment system could use an update, though. It felt old and outdated but had anything you'd need to keep busy. I usually never use it anyways, but that did stand out.
Aside from a LOT of turbulence the flight was perfect! The flight crew was superb and the food was delicious!

A very nice guy finally brought us wheelchairs and rolled 2 of us at once through security and to baggage claim."
Cons: "It was cancelled. There was no proactive communication from Kayak or Asiana about the situation. We had to cancel and rebook ourselves."
