8.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff were, as usual, good brand ambassadors for the property. We stayed in a newly renovated 4th floor King Suite and believe that we were its first new guests since it was reopened for use.
Cons: Overall, it was fine although the water closet/shower area is a bit tight and I noticed that when the door is opened its edge is very close to the toilet. That seemed odd.

Cons: Internet is not good. Covid 19 so no pool no free breakfast no coffee in lobby no snacks to purchase no ice no fitness room
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It is nicely situated behind a very good gastro pub. Don't remember what it is called. This makes it very convenient to get a good meal and a drink before or after you run your errands, go to your appointments, visit, sight-see, etc. You can drop your stuff in your room and just walk over without having to move your vehicle again. Also great if the weather is bad, as it often is during the winter.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite area, appx half mile from highway.Nice breakfast and dining area.
Cons: Entrance under construction. One hour drive to Boston

Cons: Constructions around the hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff, both shifts and the breakfast buffet staff. All pleasant and very helpful people.
Cons: The smell in the vestibule between the keyed access door and the exterior door. I ended up being the last room at the end of the hall between the gym and the pool pump room. Its a bad location for a room, but the room itself was fine.

Graduate Providence - Providence - Building
5
8.5 Excellent (1,060 reviews)
C$ 302+
Overview Reviews
Built in 1922, this landmark locale (formerly the Providence Biltmore) is bursting with old-school charm. Look up for a view of the lobby’s original ornate ceiling and famed glass-and-brass elevator. Throughout, layers of plaid, tweed and leather provide a healthy dose of post-grad bachelor pad. Mix in some laughs from locals and alums (there’s something about those Farrelly brothers) and you get a hotel with as much humor as history. Located in the center of downtown, Graduate Providence is an unmatched setting for weddings, reunions and other celebrations. The historic venue boasts a whopping 18,000 square feet of event space (hello, Grand Ballroom!) and is close to the campuses of Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence College, Johnson & Wales University and Rhode Island College.

Cons: The empty soda machine that charged my credit card for no product.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The valet staff were VERY helpful and accommodating for the issues we had.

3.7 Mediocre
Pros: We booked this hotel because we were in town for one night, visiting the Waterfire festival. The location was great, close walking distance to the festival, downtown shopping, and restaurants.
Cons: The hotel staff/policies were incredibly unhelpful. We were informed when we checked in that if we had called and asked for the military/ government rate we would of paid less than 50% of what we were charged. Of course, there was nothing they could do about it now. What they didn't tell us at check in was that the deluxe king room we had reserved and paid twice what we should of for, was unavailable. They happily checked us in and sent us up to what I can only assume is the worst room in this 4 star hotel. The glass shelf in the bathroom was broken, there was a large stain on the carpet, the door was so crooked on the hinges there were cracks you could easily see through at the top and bottom. But worst of all, it was a QUEEN sized bed, not KING. Shouldn't be the end of the world, but paying double what we were supposed to and then not even getting what we payed for- not really okay. Assuming they gave us the wrong room unintentionally, we gathered our things and went back to check in, where we were told that A: they can't change our room because the hotel is completely booked. B: it was in the fine print of "whatever website" we booked on that the room wasn't guaranteed. C: there was no offer of a rate reduction or other forms of compensation. Well, after reading all the terms and conditions of the website, and finding nothing mentioning the room not being guaranteed, we called the website, who did everything in their power to help, but we ended up cancelling the hotel reservation (through the website, not the hotel) for a full refund. No complaints about the website, they even went so far as to call all the other 4 star hotels in the area trying to get us a transfer. The hotel on the other hand, is a buisness I hope never to meet again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, clean hotel, happy with stay.
Cons: More affordable parking options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect from the moment we pulled up to the curb to the moment we departed, bellman was great and answered a lot of our questions about the area. Loved the Dr. Suess books!
Cons: Wishing the whirlpool/jacuzzi tub could fit a couple, there's only enough room for one
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for our needs on this trip. We were here to see a play at Trinity.
Cons: I think for the price breakfast could have been included.

7.0 Good
Pros: Nice view and set up.
Cons: I asked for a queen bed and got two full beds. Was not as clean as I expected it to be. Had some dust in areas but besides that was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The scenic water view. The shower is amazing too. Loved it all around.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: not much at all.......the staff was good
Cons: Parking's a nightmare, road noise, curtains don't close all the way, slippery shower, toilet roll broken, no power or USB on one side of the bed, color temperature of the mirror lights don't match, exposed plumbing under sink This is a Hilton?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice room - comfortable bed, close to downtown Providence, spacious bathroom, blackout curtains, and courteous staff with quick check-in. Free parking, either under the building (elevator) or outside on the surface lot.
Cons: Passed through a cloud of tire smoke pulling off the interstate, thanks to what appeared to be an illegal crowd of street drag racers just down the same road the hotel is on - fortunately, this racket wasn't heard from the room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel is conveniently located near Brown University, where my meetings were being held. Bed was comfortable and things were clean , including the floor panel in the elevator. There was an overall good vibe in the lobby. Appreciated the cucumber water container. Parking garage, although very tight on the first floor with brick columns.
Cons: So the staff was nice, but not particular informative about the internet access. I realized the next morning that instructions were in my key card holder. Regarding parking, it seems there was another level which they did not mention and which was difficult to see in the dark and rainy evening weather. I noticed the next morning that I had, in fact, scrapped my car on the front driver's side trying to maneuver into very tight quarters in the garage, This type of communication about the facilities would have been helpful. Additionally, I was appalled at the mark-up on a candy item. A package of Twizzlers for $4.00 this is high way robbery for folks who are travelling and need a sweet bite.!
4.0 Okay
Pros: There was a bed and it was relatively clean.
Cons: I hated that my room looked out at a noisy freeway and dumpster. Waking up to the sounds of a garbage truck beeping and flipping dumpsters was wonderful. I was told by the employee when checking that the breakfast was included only to be charged.

Pros: Great location to Dunkin Donuts Center. Close to other bars and restaurants. Great bars at the hotel. Very efficient and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms and very clean. Overall a great boutique hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On a college tour with my 17 year old daughter and she fell in love with Providence mainly because of the experience we had at and around the Dean. Great service; everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms and public spaces were eclectic but comfortable. Highly recommend it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the Dean felt like it had been planned out very meticulously. The lighting, amazing linens, and custom soaps and shower gels were all perfect. We kept discovering great "little" gems throught our whole stay!
4.2 Okay
Cons: Tiny room, worn out carpets, very noisy
8.5 Excellent
Cons: Bed squeeked.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel delivered as expected. Rooms were up to date.
Cons: The shower was a bit tricky to use. Cost of parking $26 was a bit high
5.7 Okay
Pros: Enjoyed the bars downstairs at the hotel.
Cons: The staff was pretty pretentious.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The coffee shop has excellent expresso, delicious! The elevator is an old fashioned "lift". Young people running the reception have wonderful, polite personalities! WiFi works well. Rooms have wood floors, nice decor, very clean ! I do like the hotel, and sincerely enjoyed my stay. I actually extended it two additional days!
Cons: You wouldn't bring young children, I say, because of the lift.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Had character...
Cons: Tiny Shower; Outdated cage style lift; Generally poor amenities;
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Shower was oversized and overall spacious bathroom.
Cons: Room layout was a little odd - tv on a side wall. Not many outlets. No full size mirror.
7.0 Good
Pros: Restautant was closed for a special function one night but the coffee bar was gracious for a la Carte continental breakfast. Very friendly business. The valet was also very friendly but did not offer to help with luggage until we were 20’ from the car at check out only.
Cons: The bathroom was chilly since there is no heat there. Nice rehab tho. Our bathroom needed a wall shelf to put toiletries. The tiny shelf below the mirror for the makeup cloth and 2 glasses left only the toilet tank top to put anything. At check in the host was NOT friendly and did Show us the retro 1920 elevator ( from downstairs only ) Despite prepaid reservation it appeared to take 5-10 minutes to figure out what room we were getting and give us keys The hotel was not crowded mid week. - I thought maybe he was looking to upgrade our king bed res to a king suite (which was empty) - but no such luck The tv did not work at 930pm. By the time the night valet found a new video cable and installed it, it was 1030. They should have credited us some of our stay for occupying 1/8 of our wakeful hours fixing a broken device - since we had no privacy waiting for the repair. Not a very savvy front desk staff considering they consider themselves 4-star
7.7 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly. The rooms are smaller which is fine.
Cons: Lack of coffee maker Small ironing board No closet

Pros: The service was exceptional, at reception, Roger and Sheida were exceptional, they greeted us with warmth, went the extra mille to help me with a confusion on my reservation and provided us with all the information we needed. At breakfast, the staff was fantastic and in general everywhere you looked there was a smile. For the rest, nice location, clean hotel and all you expect from a Courtyard Marriott.

Cons: Si el menú muy caro.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a problem with the air unit not syncing with the remote. A call down to front desk and within minute an engineer came to help resolve the problem. I told it might be user errors as I'm not familiar with these units before. But after he tried restarting resetting. And the problem persisted. That's when he call it in to swap room for us as he's not sure how long it'll take. A few minutes later the night manager apologized for the inconveniences. And we were on our way to the new room.
Cons: I understand that it's downtown. But with so many garage nearby. It would make sense to have a deal or two with them (onsite parking) for hotel guest to park there. Echoing what other have said. $30/night for parking is steep. I only stayed for 2 nights. So that comes to $60 total extra for parking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is great but you do get a lot of noise from the street.
4.0 Okay
Pros: It was 2 min walk from the event I was attending
Cons: When checking in I was told that $-- was charged onyopnof the room fee I already paid. $26 to park in the hotels parking lot was also an additional charge. The room was listed as a king bed but was not a king sized bed.

Pool/outdoor area was really great and beautiful. The in hotel bar/restaurant was really great with lots of options and friendly staff.
Cons: Someone must have left something in the fridge for an extended period of time like a roast beef sandwich so the room kind of smelled like it. It was not an unpleasant smell and took me a little while to figure out it was coming from the fridge and honestly is the only thing I can think of that was somewhat negative.

Pros: tolles Frühstück (inkl. Obst wie Bananen und Melone, diverse englische Varianten zum Rührei, Joghurt, ...), guter Fitnessraum (mit Geräten, Spiegel, Trinkwasser, Handtüchern), Obst zum Mitnehmen Bananen, Orangen, Äpfel)
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally warm (but not ingratiating) staff. Although I didn't use them, there's a decent pool and fitness center. My room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: At the free breakfast, eggs were runny and home fries were hard and overcooked. You get what you pay for, I guess. Although the room was comfortable, it and the bathroom could use some updating.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good sized rooms
Cons: Untidy appearance due to renovations
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, pillows.
Cons: The bathroom was not very clean, hair around the toilet, hair tie on the floor, mirror was dirty. Soap dispenser was empty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, with lots of choices, including soy milk, and vegan options. Thank you!! I've stayed here multiple times, in part because of its proximity to JWU. I've also appreciated the use of the computers and printer in the business center. The beds and pillows are comfy.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The proximity to what I was doing that weekend.
Cons: The room had an odor to it. The cable went out several times on Saturday afternoon and the power went out once. I did not see anyone at the front desk several times when I walked through. And the elevator kept sounding like it was going to break down.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very efficient & friendly. Breakfast was great!
Cons: The fluorescent lights in the room.
4.0 Okay
Cons: This hotel was worth $--, not $---. I met people at this hotel that paid $80 less than I did. Total rip-off.
6.8 Good
Pros: I was visiting my closest friend after the loss of her father. The BW Seekonk was conveniently located to Barrington, Warren, and Bristol Rhode Island, as well as the neighboring Massachusetts towns. It was the nearest available hotel to where I needed to be. Staff (primarily the front desk clerk) was very friendly and helpful. As some reviews noted, the bed was up on risers, which was odd, but I'm only 5'4", and I had no problem sitting on the edge of the bed. It probably gave the room a cleaner look.
Cons: The price I paid for this hotel was ridiculous given the property. There was apparently a soccer tournament in Barrington, RI, and I think that made the rooms fill up quickly, and raised the price. This was not a two hundred and twenty dollar a night hotel, but, like I said, it was the location I needed, and in this instance, I was glad to pay it to be near my friend. The carpet, while somewhat recent, looked horribly '70s at a distance. I never go barefoot while in hotels in general, so this was purely a cosmetic thing for me. Also, the pool was located very close to the elevator, resulting in wet floor near and in the elevator, which could be a slip hazard.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Not fancy but clean, friendly, comfortable.
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was really nice and comfortable but heating system needs a upgrade was heating a lot more then the designated temperature setting
Cons: The construction. Hard to see from the road. not much parking.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Best free breakfast ever offered. So many choices.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable.

Also great if the weather is bad, as it often is during the winter.
