10.0 Excellent
Pros: Employees are very attentive and bring all the best as possible. Sauna area is a real one with high quality equipment.
Cons: Only buffet dinner and therefore no room service but this is not a big problem as there many opportunities to eat in the neighborhood.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful location, beautiful grounds, comfortable and well-appointed room, wellness facilities were very clean and well-maintained. Amazing mountain view from balcony. Nice breakfast.
Cons: The beds were too hard (personal preference).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the perfect resort for a luxurious stay in the Alps. It was incredible!
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Very basic hotel. Breakfast limited to bread and a lot of cornflakes. Watch out for additional charges on the bill. Very disappointing.
Hotel Stilfserhof - Stelvio - Building

8.0 Excellent (579 reviews)
C$ 203+
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice mountain hotel, great views and a good breakfast in the morning.
Cons: Limited parking spaces, no lift (but only one flight of stairs), room seemed a bit dated, but was spacious.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Having to walk around the hotel trying to find a wi-fi signal. Within 10minutes of the restaurant opening, they'd run out of the cheaper options on the menu. I asked for a 'GLASS' of tap water, they gave me a bottle and opened it before I could say "No" It was not clear how far from Prad that the hotel was, there was no transport other than a taxi which cost me 40Euros (£39). I was told that breakfast wouldn't be served until after the time I was leaving, yet they changed this without advising me. This meant I was leaving the hotel for a full day running across mountains without any breakfast. Despite informing you and the hotel that my associate had cancer and couldn't attend, they claimed not to know about this and made no reduction in the price.
4.6 Okay
Cons: The place was freezing - we slept in jeans and a hoodie. We were staying for 1 night as part of a stage running race. It had poured down with rain so our clothes, shoes, bag, etc were soaking wet and cold and the owner refused to turn the heating on for us to even just dry our things ready for the following day!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old town in excellent position for Stelvio Pass
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked this as we were on a motorbike and wanted to do the Stelvio pass , it is a great location just off the pass. Staff were very friendly and helpful as we had a problem with our motorbike , they made some calls to help us find a garage service to help . The evening food was fantastic, my husband has the steak which just melted in the mouth , no steak knife needed
Cons: Helpful friendly Staff and a great location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was fantastic overlooking the valley below. The breakfast was plenty and good choice of food and drinks. We also enjoyed the 5 course meal in the evenings. It took some time to serve the 5 course meal, but the staff was very nice and looked after us very well. The house vine was also very good. Overall we are very pleased with the hotel and visit again in future.
Cons: We stayed in one of the 2nd floor rooms which could do with a refreshing. The bathroom was also outdated and could do with new fittings (it took 10 minutes for the toilet tank to refill with water). However, the room was clean.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was perfect for our early start, travelling the Stelvio pass. Quite hotel, we had dinner at the restaurant, reasonable selection on the menu, food was nice, staff very friendly.
Cons: Could do with an update

Pros: Wonderful setting in the Alps. Family run hotel. The owner Fabian was very gracious and attentive - we felt very well cared for. Great value for money too.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place in the middle of nowhere but close to Stelvio Pass. Comfortable beds and very clean but relatively basic. Great for an overnight if you are passing through. Very nice restaurant. Good breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner but largely meaty dishes though a nice salad bar.
Cons: Church bells till 11 pm quite loud
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the location, the food but especially the Gallia family who made you feel at home
Cons: there's nothing I didn't like
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms with large, comfy beds. Excellent location for short stay + fantastic view from balconies. Tasty, generous breakfast. Kind and helpful staff. Great restaurant on-site.
Cons: One of our rooms was large, bright and airy, whilst the other one quite small and gloomy. Considering the price I wouldn't stay for more than one night in that smaller room. Church bells ring every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The bus stop you can see on pictures right in front of the hotel was moved few hundred meters up the street. We had to change our plan for the day because we missed the bus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about this delightful hotel . The owner is charming and the staff very efficient dressed in lovely traditional outfits. We arrived in the evening after a long journey and were upgraded to the Romantic bedroom free of charge which was a beautiful large room . Dinner was excellent and the best food we have had all week . Amazing soup starter and prawn main course . Breakfast excellent, good coffee. Wonderful scenery and beautiful hotel exterior .
Cons: All delightful .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was really clean and we had a great view. The beds were super comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and the meals, including breakfast, were delicious. I was there to bicycle the Stelvio Pass, so the location at the foot of the pass was excellent.
Cons: There was no mini fridge in the room; though I'm beginning to believe that this isn't a basic for European hotels. But that was minor given all the positives of the Hotel Gallia. They are very economical with bathroom towels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious croissants and all the breakfast food in the delightful restaurant
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect and the staff who wore traditional attire made the ambience even better. The food was of a very high standard.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Positioned right at the foot of Stelvio pass, it is a perfect place to stay to have an early beggining up the pass. Nice, comfortable room with a big bathroom, balcony with an awesome view (but without any furniture outside!!). The parking is on the side of the road (which starts getting busy early in the morning) but they offered me closed garage space for the motorcycle for no extra cost. Amazing dinner at the restaurant and at very reasonable prices. Good Wi-Fi.
Cons: Narrow stairs without an elevator, could be a problem for some people. I would expect the breakfast to be a little better, especially after the amazing dinner we had.

Pros: Cosy , huge and very well furnished modern rooms! We arrived quite late but the owner organized very easily so that we could access the room by ourself without proper check in. The owner is lovely , we will stay here again !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely loved staying here. The apartment was well appointed, clean, cozy, and had a nice ambiance. The window/doors were fantastic for letting in fresh air. The European breakfast was perfect. Parking right on the side of the building. Easy to find and walking distance to the main area of the village. I had a late arrival and Evelin was great with accommodating me, and gave helpful recommendations for dining, etc. Super quiet and the views were amazing. Great place to relax after exploring.
Cons: No complaints! Would definitely stay here again!!! Evelin was a great hostess!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, well appointed apartment with a large balcony and mountain views in a quiet location close to Stelvio Pass and numerous walking trails. Private onsite parking. Breakfast included cooked eggs, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, bread, pastries etc
Cons: As it is a small town restaurants and supermarkets etc were limited.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything is new and clean. The apartment is spacious and is very well laid out.
Cons: Alles ist super!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a brand new mini hotel/private house which looks just great. The lady/owner was very hospitable, certainly she knows her job :) Breakfast room was so big comparing to numbers of guests, all in glass on countryside. They even had satsumas for breakfast and all array of seeds/nuts ! Also the apartment was spotlessly clean. We spilled a little water on table which is cut on half- the floor underneath was incredibly clean- we wiped it with white toilet paper !!! One of the cleanest places where we have been :) Beautiful curtains :) Memory mattress <3
Cons: It didn't bother me much but it did bother my partner. When we come the radiators were completely cold - shut down :( we come earlier than announced so maybe the owner would turned it on like 2h before than guest arrive. For me, blinds should be put along beautiful curtains. For me this is a bigger matter than cold room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great with a brilliant view, everything was clean and the host was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable albeit very compact. We were there in the off season and the staff was helpful with locating a restaurant. The hot tub and sauna area on the top floor offer a splendid view of the city and valley. The breakfast was fine but not outstanding. When we made the reservation we did not understand that rooms are located in two separate buildings on the city piazza. The initial room we were given would have required us to change in the hot tub/sauna area. The staff graciously accommodated our request to relocate in the other building.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice welcome. Wellness area very comfortable! Half board option was a good choice. Dinner excellent
Cons: Shower in room somewhat cramped as an 'add on'. Should not have wasted time and money on breakfast. Staff not service oriented at all. This place appears to live from its good position in a lovely town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the Gruner Baum. I had always wanted to stay here after cycling through the town a couple of years ago. If you were visiting Glorenza and saw the Gruner Baum you would want to stay there, and we did! Totally stunning room overlooking the square. The hotel's interior is very modern with wide staircases and hallways, so unlike your normal hotel corridors. The downstairs dining room had a real Apline feeling and we enjoyed a great breakfast in the upstairs dining room. The mountain views are breathtaking and the setting within the walls of this medieaval town is like being in a film set. We were offered and took up the option of secure garage parking just a few minutes walk away. We want to go back to fuflly explore the town and area and cannot recommned this fabulous hotel highly enough
Cons: Nothing. It was more than perfect.

Pros: Delicious croissants and all the breakfast food in the delightful restaurant

Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect and the staff who wore traditional attire made the ambience even better. The food was of a very high standard.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Everything is new and clean. The apartment is spacious and is very well laid out.
Cons: Alles ist super!
