Pros: everything Kym was lovely and very welcoming
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room with the view was really nice but not the whole facility has those views. The access to the beach was also great, bit of a steep walk but very pretty.
Cons: The facility is a bit old but nonetheless well looked after
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. Close to everything we wanted to do.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: First up the staff were so lovely and helpful. My booking was a little last minute but they went out on of their way to help me. Room was clean and comfortable. View was amazing and the constant sound of the sea was magical. I was very happy and left very rested.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is right next to the beech with stairs heading down to it. There are amazing views of the mountains on one side and of the beech on the other. Staff was very friendly and helped us plan the activities for the days we were there. They even found us good deals on some of the tours!
Cons: The rooms would benefit with a little updating, especially the bathrooms but that didn't stop us from liking the place very much!

5.0 Okay
Cons: No wifi and limited TV stations and no aircon in bedrooms - also the bathroom not very user friendly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location easy to find walking distance to Trinity tavern and beach. Comfortable beds lovely garden to sit and relax.Close to skyrail and other tourist attractions
Cons: The people above us were quite noisy at night. No air-con in rooms
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was great and the property was basic but both matched the price. The 2 bedrooms were good for a family of 4.Trinity Beach is beautiful and centrally located for us when we wanted to go to Cairns for Dinner and markets etc. We traveled inland to the Atherton tablelands and surrounds, to Cape Tribulation, then down to Innisfail and we were only there for 6 nights. So location great. Didn't swim in the pool but it looked nice. Covered Car parking onsite a bonus. When we needed coat hangers, tea towels and new batteries for the tv remote the hosts were really quick and helpful.
Cons: At the time of booking confirmation, we were not aware that we were to be located on the 3rd level. Noise from the street especially early morning leaf blowers and lawn mowers and chainsaws and also 4wd cruising up the road. At night we had to sleep with all the windows closed in preparation for the noise in the early morning. We were also under the flight path so that was pretty noisy, but we appreciate that this is something that can't be changed. The Oven on this occasion was not clean, neither were the cupboards. The Ants were a bother and super quick to arrive. A bin outside the room as well would be great.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good size all you need supplied
Cons: Bbq needs replacing neighbour above loud ay nite late

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing as well as the bathroom, bed, pillows lol, aircon and wifi. I especially loved the minibar, the staff were amazing and very kind. The room service food was delicious as well.
Cons: Nothing bro
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great view, staff were great.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was very clean and modern
Cons: Although the rooms were modern, the rest of the hotel felt a bit dated and more of a business hotel with lot of conference and meeting rooms. I was not impressed with room service which was a cafe next door with a backpackers menu. This is not what I expect when I choose a 5 star hotel. They also charge 6AUD to bring the food to you. I have never stayed at any 5 star hotel that orders from the cafe next door and charges a service fee for room service. I also would have enjoyed a coffee machine in the room instead of instant coffee with a kettle which is more likely the expectation of a 4 star hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great View over Marina In Club Room. Inclusive Club Lounge was good with very friendly staff, giving a good mid range buffet breakfast and Hot buffet with drinks in the evening. Very comfortable bed and room. Easy parking for $20Aus per night.
Cons: Long bland corridors, No separate bar and restaurant but there public Restaurant was OK.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a room upgrade as this was second visit. Room overlooked Marina, nice balcony with great view. Location of hotel is great on the waterfront in close proximity to restaurants and bars.
Cons: Very quiet due the coronavirus. Hotel did really well, temperature checks coming in and out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted to be able to relax and unwind at our first destination in Australia, this was definitely the place, the pool was very relaxing and the sunrise on the marina side was breathtaking. They had our room ready and allowed us to check in early. They also had complementary champagne and chocolates upon arrival. They also upgraded our room to a higher level so we had a better view of the bay. The location is with in walking distance to everything, including the ferries at the marina. All in all one of the best parts of our stay was the staff, they were all so welcoming, accommodating and extremely pleasant (esp Kelly and Luke!). I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: pool furniture showed some signs of wear.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, quick check in and polite staff . The back yard (room service/restaurant) is good but tad pricey
Cons: I really would of liked more pillows and a heated spa instead of the cold one
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff. Great breakfast. Good location. Nice quiet swimming pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location on harbour.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Plenty of food options around. Nice pool layout
Cons: Parking fees
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely stay! The staff were friendly, the rooms were perfectly appointed. The lounge was a nice treat at the end of a long day. Gym and pool were great additions and well used during our stay.
Cons: Everything was amazing!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location walking distance from the harbor with many shops and restaurants within the same complex. Luxurious and modern rooms without feeling pretentious.
Cons: Breakfast service was $20 and most of the buffet choices were unappetizing; the omelettes and French toast prepared on request by the chef were pretty good but overall there are likely better options around Cairns. The pool was really nice but closed unusually at 8pm.

Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast menu was great
Cons: The pool was very clean
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: tourist information counter was useful. Location.
Cons: Definitely not a 5-star hotel. I would rate it as disappointing even if it was a 4-star hotel. Quite embarrassing for Hilton Group. We got a very smelly room, maybe worst smell I have encountered during my travels. After changing room, we were still not satisfied with the room equipment, it feels very old and not very clean, some items were missing (towel for 3rd person, minibar menu, bottle opener, etc.). Balcony looked like nobody took care of it in years (esp. flowers). The whole hotel looked understaffed and not well maintained, so we even did not dare try its swimming pool or restaurant. What made me personally angry is the fact that in order to have free wi-fi, I had to register to Hilton Honors, which I did not want to join.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The initial impression when we were greeted in the driveway was professional and helpful. That continued into the foyer we were attended to asap and staff were very helpful and efficient. The physical presentation of the facilities was excellent and we felt very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing really, maybe check with guests if they needed help with planning activities.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Location location location...within walking distance of the lovely waterfront with all the restaurants. The Concierge, Junko, was excellent putting together tours for us. The view from the 14 level was spectacular.
Cons: The buffet breakfast that came with the room was more than a "little tired." It was fast asleep. The pancakes and waffles were mealy and inedible. The so-called sausages were mini-hot dogs. The "to order" section was grossly understaffed so lines were long waiting for eggs to order.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location was convenient
Cons: Smelt awful & found a large bug in my bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was close to the actractiones and venues that we wished to visit. The room itself was of a high standard we had great sleep and breakfast was great.

5.1 Okay
Pros: Good location and nice pool
Cons: Expensive parking, lots of mold on the AC vents
6.2 Good
Pros: The rooms were spacious, and the staff were nice.
Cons: The rooms, especially the bathrooms are a bit dated. It would be a good idea for the hotel to go through a remodel. But it was clean and everything worked, just needs to be brought out of the 90s.
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the location is ok. The view is pretty good as well.
Cons: Evidently the room had just been "refreshed" however the bathroom was extremely dated with cheap metal fittings that reminded me of my early days in the Army. The layout of the room was bizarre to say the least so much so that you would have to turn your head 90 degrees to watch the TV from the bed. The air conditioning is pre-set to 25 degrees Celsius which in the wet season is not sufficient and the room is hot, this is not an acclimatization issue as we are from North Queensland and we found it oppressive to the point we had to have both the fan and air conditioning on at the same time to be comfortable.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Views were great both mountain view and ocean. Even nice location about 10 minutes to city center along the great esplanade.
Cons: Very very dated needs complete Reno. Plus they must not look up when they clean. All the vents and doors were sooo dirty We stayed in a two bedroom condo which could have been wonderful expect the furnishings were so old and made everything feel so unclean. Plus 6 nights and no new towels etc. wifi slow or non If privately own condos they shouldn't rent people's who aren't updated as $200 per night and it was 2 star only
4.0 Okay
Pros: Easy walking to city & esplanade!
Cons: I know we are going through different times at the moment but they could have changed our bins when we were out! Especially since we had heaps of takeaway containers because we could only do room service!
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The bartender luke was very professional
Cons: They gave disable room with garage view , no transportation and no room service even when I checkin at 1130 pm . Shame when the hotel was empty. They need to learn some management hospitality.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The room was great, the location fine. The hotel is maintained well enough for its age.
Cons: We were staying at the hotel while our new born child was in the special care nursery at the Cairns base hospital. We stayed a total of 3 nights. Whilst in the hotel, a heap of COVID-19 isolation guests checked in. We were accessing a vulnerable section pf the hospital, which the hotel staff were well aware of as they asked us often how it was going. The COVID-19 would be devastating to the many infants at the hospital special care nursery and hospital staff instructed us to get out ASAP. Rydges did not inform us that the hotel had taken in multiple high risk guests. I don't blame the hotel for taking in the business, but a courtesy note would have been well accepted.

7.0 Good
Pros: - perfect location - a very sweet & nice welcome - she was very friendly !!!!!!!!! thanks.
Cons: well - I am not often in hotels but what I don't want to see if the cleaner person cleans the entry part which was stone tiles - using her food and clean the floor with a white towel......she can do this when no-one is here..... it was clean anyway - it is just to see this as guest is not so a good thing.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The hotel and the interior is 15years and older...don’t except a modern hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff across all areas. Local recommendations from bar staff. Sue on Excursions desk was amazing! Super friendly, honest and shared advice and tips. Good location on Cairns Esplanande.
Cons: Desperately in need of a revamp/upgrade. Not up to the usual DoubleTree standard, found out it’s an old Holiday Inn - doesn’t look like it’s changed much since. No privacy in rooms due to being overlooked by other hotels, had to keep curtains closed at all times.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, close to town so walking distance to everything but still quiet. Staff were super helpful and thoughtful.

Pros: We were perfectly situated to see the beach, sunrise and sunset. Their cookies were especially a nice touch, warm & delicious. Beds were comfortable, towels were large and the coffee bar was perfect (when we finally found the mugs). Parking was more than reasonable compared to Sydney & Melbourne and close enough we were able to walk to the fleet terminal for our GBR trip. The vine room was well situation & staff. Lovely surrounding in an exceptional location.
Cons: On site restaurant was expensive and required to eat food onsite. Wish we could have packed our food for our GBR trip since it was such an early launch.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely helpful and a great location
Cons: Bathroom was rather small
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Very easy checkin & checkout. Very helpful front desk. They stored one bag for a week while we were on a dive boat. Ask about prepaying for breakfast at the hotel -- its $5 cheaper for the buffet per person.
Cons: WIFI/Internet service in need of serious upgrade!!!! Service was slow & spotty, often requiring multiple attempts to connect. Location is a bit away from downtown Cairns.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with a good view. Restaurant options are excellent. Love the breakfast, there were great options and worth paying for. Due to coronavirus the hotel was quite empty which made it easy for us to do what we want. They have good entertainment most nights. Great location, easy walk anywhere around the CBD and the waterfront.
Cons: Prior to going there 4 things actually annoyed us: 1. They told us there would be limited parking. In actual fact there was heaps of parking but you have to pay for it. 2. Told us that we shouldn't go to breakfast between 8am and 9.30am as it would be super busy. This was not the case, it was easy to have a leisurely breakfast as there was hardly anyone staying in the casino. 3. We didn't know when we booked that it was a casino, the word casino wasn't in the name until we got the confirmation. 4. We were told the money would be taken from our account on arrival but it was done days before we arrived.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable bed
Cons: Liked everything
1.0 Poor
Cons: I ended up in emergency on New year's Day and when I called to say we would be an hour late for check out, the female on reception was extremely rude, I can't even call her a lady. I am a local and will never stay with you again and will advise others not to. Need to train staff in manners, compassion and that it's not all about money??!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice big corner room with lots of space and a large bathroom, room for the laptop, etc. The breakfast and coffee was nice, too. Enjoyed dinner there as well, nice variety as well as Aussie style Brazilian BBQ. Great location to the docks. Easy to walk around the neighborhood. Be sure to get there for happy hour. A big plus was the pay-for washer/dryer on 3 of the floors.
Cons: It was an older hotel, but still very, very nice. The windows were not sound-proof and the bathroom shower could use some bleach-cleaning. We had trouble getting hot water in the shower and maintaining the temperature. Outside noise ended around 10 p.m. and morning traffic started around 5 a.m.
7.5 Good
Pros: Size. Big room
Cons: It’s not exactly as it is promoted in the pictures. Not very clean.

1.0 Poor
Cons: I originally booked a premium room but was too small so the manager moved me to 2 separate rooms after 20 minutes of explaining shu I wanted another room, the manager was extremely rude he shouldn't be in that position, when I returned key for the previous room I witnessed him be so disrespectful to one of his employees totally unacceptable. One of the rooms was dirty moved sofas heaps of dirt, dust and rubbish under looks like it has not been vacuumed for a long time . Floor was dirty not vacuumed or mopped feet were black walking on it . Blankets smelled not washed and air con had dirty filters also dishes weren't washed up properly still had food on them, bathroom had half empty shampoo and bodywash obviousIy not changed from last person, was there for a few days and house keeping didn't service room had to ring reception after 2pm when I returned from shopping to get someone to mop and vacuum . 6.0 Good
Pros: The location is great, especially for the ferry terminal. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful too. The room was a good size as the sea view was nice. The pool is very nice.
Cons: The hotel rooms are unserviced which is fine for the apartments but not great for hotel rooms as there are no facilities to easily wash up cups etc. Plus the humidity means towels don't easily dry overnight. For the price paid this is not good enough. Fresh towels and coffee sachets & tea bags are available from reception but you have to go and collect.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The door to the room next to us kept slamming closed whenever someone left or entered the room. This meant we were kept awake by a slamming door day and night. The TV in our room has a crack in it. We stayed 3 nights and they said housekeeping was an extra daily charge.

Cons: Rather scruffy & tired.Needs a refurb.Two coffee pods for 3 people in a 3 bed apartment

Cons: The room was not that clean, everything was very dated. The shower was awful

Pros: The room was situated nicely...with a mini feidge, microwave, kettle plus kitchen utensils. The pool/bbq area was really nice. The location was ideal.
Cons: Nothing really. The only “hassle” was having to use the key to use the AC.

3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Other tenants at the property were very noisy throughout the night - yelling, swearing, slamming doors, arguing which echoed right in our room. Did not like the idea of shared facilities.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The room was adequate for the intended purpose
Cons: One gets nervous when linen is stained or mouldy. My biggest gripe however is noise from groups of people playing very loud music, shouting and yelling into Saturday night until approx 3am, and Sunday night until 4am - is a complete contradiction to your stated policy. Further more having strangers banging on the door several times a night, demanding to be let in was disgraceful and unacceptable. The experience left myself and a colleague sleep deprived for the two nights that we stayed. I have fed this information back to our company - That I wish for none of our team to visit the Bohemian in future. The motel management does not seem able to control groups or maintain a clean and respectable place to stay.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Was told that the room would be cleaned daily. It was not. The linen on the bed was dirty and had hair from previous occupant. There was dirt and mould on the walls. The fridge froze all my food. The guest milk was rotten and frozen. I was appalled at the state of the room. The air-conditioning unit had no cover didn't work and was filthy. Won't be staying again
6.0 Good
Pros: Value for Money
Cons: Bathroom shower head was too water saving hence takes longer to shower. Not a very good thing when it's cold at night but in general cairns does not get too cold.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Check in staff for very nice
Cons: There were cockroaches, the air con leaked back onto curtain at the sliding door which was saturated pool of water, the fridge wouldn't close because the frost from the freezer was pushing it out. Was mentioned to staff on checkout was advised ,"we'll ook into it"...
5.1 Okay
Pros: Location in Cairns and the Price is about the only thing to like about the Bohemia "Resort." We didn't try the pool, but did see some kids enjoying themselves, so maybe that was a plus, too. It was cheap and we made the reservation very last minute, needing only one night in Cairns before moving on up to Port Douglas.
Cons: Meh. Spartan, to say the least. The beds were very uncomfortable and the A/C made a lot of noise, but barely cooled the room. The rooms were pretty worn and shabby. The breakfast lady was guarding the place like the queen's crown jewels were under the towel, but it was nothing more than 2 or 3 different kinds of packaged, sliced bread and a couple of jam packets. There was milk and juice and water, though, and a couple of different kinds of breakfast cereal. No fruit or biscuits or muffins or anything else that would normally be included with a continental breakfast. Very limited, cramped parking. However, we didn't pay that much for the room, so in all I think it served its purpose for the night. Probably wouldn't stay there again unless I was alone and just needed a cheap place to crash. Think of it as a Hostel and you won't be disappointed when you walk in. Be advised that a "Family Shared Room" doesn't mean just that the family all sleeps in one room (which was fine) but also means that you are sharing a bathroom with about 4 other rooms.

Pros: The room with the view was really nice but not the whole facility has those views. The access to the beach was also great, bit of a steep walk but very pretty.
