The 40-room hotel is 100 years old. With lots of old elements like 1930s-style phones, iron beds, and vintage radios, guests feel that they have stepped back in time. The updated rooms are comfortable and modern within the historic decor. This hotel has wonderfully integrated the great elements of old into the new, to provide comfort to the modern guest.

Guests are provided with excellent amenties, including pet-friendly options. Business travelers will enjoy the business center and complimentary high-speed internet access. There's also a nightclub and an award-winning restaurant onsite.

The Historic Hotel Congress is well known for its popular bars. A Happy Hour Menu is provided Monday to Friday in the Lobby and Tap Room Bars. A Bar Eats menu is offered in the Lobby Bar, Tap Room and Plaza onsite. Entertainment is provided in the form of dance nights and DJs.

Pros (+) Neat historic hotel located downtown.
Cons (-) The hotel supports a lot of live music which is great but bands are inside the hotel and play until 2:00 am. We were told this upon checking in but this information was not on the listing. This would be a great location for those traveling for Tucson for a great time not for a quiet get away. The walls are very thin and the staff knows this so they provide ear plugs to all guests.

Pros (+) Romantic venue with fun bars downstairs and a great restaurant with vegan options. Nice to have no TV in room.
Cons (-) Shower takes 5-10 minutes to heat up.
