Pros:Incredible beach and pool area, comfortable and clean room, very friendly staff.
Cons:The food is not great.. like really pretty bad in some of the places. Definitely skip the Mexican restaurant. If you’re privileged level or above, definitely go to the Bloved lounge restaurant.

Pros:BEACH! Absolutely fantastic beach. White sand as far as the eye could see, as well as in the water. You stand in white sand in the ocean which is great and also its very clear. I was standing in chest high water and I could see my toes. Plenty of chairs for everyone and plenty of room to spread out and relax. Room and bed were very comfortable and shower/bathroom were good as well. If your trip is for great relaxing beach this is the place.
Cons:The food was pretty sub par and the wait staff was very slow and often forgot to bring your drink. They were all very nice just inattentive. They served the same quality of food and the buffet that they did in the restaurants so there really isn't a point to them. If your trip is to be wined and dined, this isn't the place.

Pros:The resort is on the small compared to others but I like it better because you can walk anywhere in just a few minutes and the staff gave us excellent service! The grounds are very well maintained and there is wildlife everywhere, also the beach is beautiful!!!! We got the privileged package which gave us access to a wonderful beach front restaurant called bloved which had excellent food and drinks! Will def visit again!
Cons:they train the staff to push their time share pretty hard and they will try to set an appointment for you to attend a one and half hour sales presentation, we had just arrived to the hotel and wanted to go to our room after a long trip so it was a little annoying to sit in the lobby for 20 min with the person trying to set the appointment.

Pros:Beautiful location, lots of trees and wildlife :) you feel like you are away from the world and on vacation. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Not too crowded. Adults only. Very good entertainment staff from Vera Club offering nice activities (yoga in the morning, dance lessons, water polo etc). Juice bar on the beach was great. And the waitresses serving the beach and pool area are fast and polite, asking you if you want more drinks all the time - which is great when you are in vacation.
Cons:Food was average. Nothing super exciting. The Asian restaurant and tapas bar was probably the best. The waiters and service are not as great as in other 5 star hotels - slow and unresponsive, not always with a smile ( most didn't look motivated, perhaps it's the tip situation since most of the Europeans in the hotel don't tip). The beach is very nice, although the sea had a lot of seaweed when we were there in August. And the little cherry on the top - Catalonia has this new concept of premium service so some of the areas, restaurants, best seats with best view and quality liquor were not available to "regular guests of a 5 star hotel" and only available to "privilleged ones" -seriously I would change the choice of words - you don't want to hear "sorry these seats are only for privileged guests".
