Summary of reviews

Guests say
Most guests praised the Zanzibar Palace Hotel for its exceptional service, friendly and helpful staff, and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's location in the heart of Stone Town was frequently mentioned as a major advantage, making it convenient for exploring the area. Many appreciated the unique, historical charm and character of the building, as well as the comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfast was often described as delicious and varied. However, several guests noted the lack of an elevator and the steep stairs as a significant drawback, especially for older visitors or those with mobility issues. Despite some minor complaints about amenities and occasional maintenance issues, the overall sentiment was very positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
