I had a BMW reserved for our family vacation and when we got there they had given the car away to someone else and we had to settle for a Toyota RAV4 which we found very uncomfortable. Their excuse was that they tried to call to see if we were coming and I didn't answer, I WAS ON A FLIGHT and couldn't answer.Reviewed 3 Jan. 2022

They did not deliver the vehicle I booked. I carefully reviewed all the different vehicle types presented to me as "available" at the time of booking, several days before my trip. Because bad weather was forecast, I selected a compact SUV. When I arrived, I was told my selected vehicle was in fact no longer available, and instead, a low-clearance compact Toyota Corolla would be substituted. The explanation was "it's been a crazy day" and that other customers had shown up and rented almost every vehicle they had. What does a vehicle "reservation" mean to Alamo if they're going to rent my booked vehicle out from under me to someone that turns up at the counter?Reviewed 16 Nov. 2021

I had to extend the rental 2 times Rather than just being able to phone in and update the account I had to drive to the airport each time and basically create a new rental each time Secondly they could t extend the damage deposit so basically had two holds on my card at the same time as the initial damage deposit was held for up to 5 business daysReviewed 14 Nov. 2021

Did not like anything, workers were very rude and wanted to give me an economy vehicle when I paid for a intermediate. Workers also stated that they could not input credit card information on their end.Reviewed 20 Aug. 2021
