I particularly enjoyed the vehicle and the service at the Hertz counter and with the staff when we dropped off the vehicle. The thing that disappoints and continues to disappoint when I hear about it in the automotive industry. That is the failure to supply a spare tire and further not to supply an emergency repair kit pump and so on for the existing tires. I had travelled to remote areas on this vacation and Alberta and Saskatchewan have many gravel roads. I tried to mitigate my circumstances by buying a pump and a tire repair kit. Thankfully, I did not have to use it. Unfortunately, I believe that if I had a flat in one of my far away places that I visited roadside service would not be efficient. That’s my rant and in the future, I will try to choose a rental that has a spare tire if possible!Reviewed 24 May 2025

I liked the vehicle and Patti was amazing⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When I picked the Tesla I said iI would be late because I work in the oilfields and transportation was behind. Ya no problems. But when I called and said I'd be late late maybe an hr because couldn't find a charging station in Leduc and I'd have to take it back to Edmonton. All I got was we'll charge you a late return fee. So its ok to pick up late but return a little late? Then the person who person at reception either has a bad attitude or having a bad day. "Customer service", is not bad attitude it's doing what you can to the best of your abilities to make to customer feel like you actually care. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with Hertz. Patti was the only person plus the pickup staff that actually made me think, ok it was just that other time with the bad attitudes.
