Clean, nice car. Had called Avis in advance to request GPS and was told no problem. Then when I arrived they said they didn’t have it. Didn’t try to help problem-solve or anything and I had a 6 hrs drive in unfamiliar territory ahead of me. If I had known in advance I would have looked up on maps ahead of time.Reviewed 9 Aug. 2023

I did not like being charged a per-day rate when I went through tolls. Some days I had to take a toll road that was only $.75 for the toll, but Avis charges something like $5/day to go through a toll at all. Please drop this charge. It’s b.s.Reviewed 2 Aug. 2023

Drop off was easy....just drop off the keys. BUT the quote I was given is not what the final bill I got via email. So today I get to call customer service to woke that out...good luck right? Car was filthy...which we couldn't tell in the dark parking garage. Upholstry was stained...dashboard and inside windows dirty. I really don't think it was cleaned after it was used, YUCK!!! Service was excellent. Car was mislabeled and had to go in to clarify the black Escape I was supposed to get turned out to be a white Explorer. Service representative was great. Very professional and personable. Service man in the garage was great was helpful too when trying to figure the car variances. Car had Fla plates and was scratched on the rear bumper. Had remnants of dog hair, anf food especially behind the drivers seat. I had the seat all the way forward so it was very visible in the back seat. Steering wheel was sticky. We were told, and I even called the day before to double check what the procedure for dropping the car off after hours and was told " just drop the key in the box at the counter and we will take care of everything". We after we rented another car in another city we found out we had to fill out this form and put that around the key and then drop it in the box. When we got the bill for the first car they added $129 fuel cost to our bill. At the time we dropped off the car we didn't know about the form to fill out so we were changed for an entire tank of gas(it was full). After a phone call and some 15 minutes on the phone it was resolved but this all could have been avoided if the rep on the phone gave us the correct procedure for dropping off the car.Reviewed 24 Oct. 2021
