We had to change our pick up time due to delays. We tried calling the Albany location MANY times but no one answered. Then we called Avis directly and they said there were no cars available if we changed our time, even though we had booked a vehicle. We ended up with no car and had to find alternate transportation. Terrible customer service!

I had reserved a mini van for pick up 2:00 pm on July 4th dropping off at 2:00 pm on July 5th. I was not notified by call or email. I only found out that the reservation was moved to Kily 5th pick up at 7:00 am and drop off 11:00 pm via my calendar. I would never have booked that as my departure flight was at 3:05 pm. Very disappointed. Avis ctold me to contact Kayak and Kayak told me to contact Avis. Will not use Kayak to verify book another vehicle rental.

Full size truck at normal rental price. A+ Getting a speeding ticket for your Nevada vehicle having cali plates. F I was in lane 2 driving EXACTLY with traffic in a “construction zone” Nevada trying to get out of state revenue and I’m caught in the middle with your rental. 68mph in a 55 freeway. Ticket 3x rental cost. Local plates should be on your rentals for THIS reason. I don’t care about your tax or business

I got a call just before pickup saying they didn’t have the van i paid double to get a van from the airport because the traveling party of 12 were packed and ready

On Kayak I rented and paid for a premium Suv category they gave me a different category so I am not satisfied with the value of my money.I paid more for a lower category car. I would like to get a better explanation about this on your side.Please check and inform me. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Offered a smaller car at first. Had to wait 1+ hour to get the right car. Car was not clean when picked up. Avis intends to charge me for supposed damage to the car after the vehicle was dropped off at their preferred location.
