Cons:They promised to email a receipt but never did. When I called, nobody picked up. Required extra insurance and did not make it clear during booking. Employees provided poor, slow, inefficient service and were generally angry and difficult to work with. The office smelled very bad. Location not well marked and hard to find. They did not have the car I reserved. I could go on but have wasted enough time w/ this reservation already.

Cons:It was awful that I was charged for the three extra days that I could not get a flight home and that I was not able to use the car could not return the car and could not get a flight at that airport where I rented it due to hurricane Irma airports closed in Florida and Atlanta and roads too dangerous to drive. I would very much appreciate somebody reimbursing me for those three days of non-usage and unable to return the car and being price gouged for nine dollars a gallon because I could not find gas and returned it have phone was charged $90 for gas for half a tank I would very much appreciate somebody reimbursing me for those three days of non-usage and unable to return the car and being price gouged at $9 a gallon because I could not find gas charged $90 for gas for half a tank. !!!

Pros:We actually really enjoyed the car itself, good gas mileage, it was clean, and it was comfortable.
Cons:We didn’t like being up sold at pick up. The man behind the counter tried to get us into a larger SUV because we were driving in “higher elevation” for hundreds of dollars more than the economy sedan we reserved. He was very persistent and would then lower the price incrementally to further shade is to upgrade. Then he scared us about “loss of use” insurance. We didn’t upgrade, we didn’t by extra coverage, and we were fine. I call d my insurance broker and he said we were covered with our personal car insurance policy. Because of the up selling we had a stressful hour exchange at pick up that didn’t need to happen. Everything else was smooth sailing, but we’re going with Herz Enterprise next time because they have a relationship with our insurance company, State Farm.

Pros:I rented a car from EZ car rental from the San Juan airport location (SJU) between the dates of January 8 -12, 2017. I am writing to you because I have a two concerns I would like to address about the car and service. Firstly, when we initially got the car on January 8, my friend and I walked around to inspect the car for any physical damage to ensure that it is noted by the employee who helped us out. We noticed minor but noticeable dents on the back bumper and we notified the employee. We asked twice and the employee guaranteed and gave us his word that we are not responsible for this. In fact, he explicitly said that marks, scratches, dents on the back bumper are standard on the rental cars because customers often onload and offload luggage. We trusted his word. However, when we returned the car, we were told that these dents were our fault and that we may be charged for this damage that we did not do. The employee who initially helped us out on the first day was not there so we could not ask for him. We do not know the name of this employee but I am sure that you should have it in your records who rented us out the car who can corroborate on your end. We purchased damage insurance, but it is unfair for me to be accused of and charged for any dent that I did not do, and it is the fault of the employee who rented us out the car for telling us that it is not our problem and did not mark down this dent in the initial form. Secondly, when I initially booked your service online, I was drawn in by your affordable price that was around $77. However, when I got to your centre, I was unaware of the hidden fees and taxes that brought the price up to $146. It would have been much better if your online booking process was more transparent with the actual price so I could have looked into it in more detail. Thank you for taking the time to reading this. Cons:Through your site i made a reservation for a 4 wheel drive SUV and when I arrived at EZ Car Rental they said the site should never have let us book the car because they don't offer SUVs if I was a resident of Albuquerque??? The lady at the counter was very nice in explaining that we would be paying way more to rent with EZ but I was then left scrambling to find a different rental agency to rent from so I could get to my job interview in Denver. I was not able to get a 4 wheel drive and had to pay more for a compact car because it was so last minute.

Cons:I am trying to get a refund for this trip. I arrived, the car rental place had 2 reservations for 1 day each, for different car types, rather than one reservation for 3 days. The costs were different, the car types were different, and it didn't honor the $15/day reservation I made online. I tried to cancel with priceline and have not been successful yet (this was made in partnership of some kind?) I did not take the rental car, the headache was too much of trying to get things sorted out. You can speak with Jason at the EZ car rental at ATL airport for more details. I took a lyft. Please cancel and refund the trip.

Cons:I chose this service because it said that it was at the airport, but it isn't it's at the Marriott down the street. I walked all over the airport looking for it and it seriously seem like they're the only ones NOT in the terminals. I called for someone to come pick me up, they said 10 minutes. I waited for over an hour and no one came. I ended up walking to the Marriott. They gave me a car that not only was totally scratched, had no working AC, had terrible breaks AND after waiting all that, HAD NO GAS! The guy had the balls to tell me "go straight to the gas station, it's on E but should get you the the gas station" WHAT?! I just landed in a different country, been awaiting and now have to stop and get gas?! unbelievable. I've rented cars all over the world, including mexico before and have never had these problems. pretty pathetic.

Cons:First if you are in a hurry..... be prepared as they spend more time trying to "Up Sell" their service! Then they take you to the rental and have the customer inspect the car and note any existing damage!!!! Wouldn't you think they would already have the damage documented??? and let you review it? Then, they tell you that they are taking a $200.00 deposit, which is fine... But they don't explain that they are taking the deposit as well as the rental fee!!! I was under the impression that the $200.00 deposit was to be held for the rental, then when it was returned they would refund the over payment. Not so!!! Then when questioned, they claim that it may take 3 to 10 days for the refund to be released by my bank, When the funds are taken instantly when the debit my account, why should it take 3-10 for them to replace the funds! Then at the airport, they need to call for the shuttle to pick you up, I waited 15-20 minutes for the shuttle! Then after returning the rental, again you have to wait for the shuttle, another 15-25 minutes! Glad it wasn't raining, but it was 90 degrees and 90% humidity and no cover while waiting! Overall the experience was not the best and i would NOT recommend this Company or Advantage (Their other name), for any rentals!

Cons:I made a reservation for E-Z car rentals in Phoenix in good faith and prepaid but was informed weeks later that they could not honor the reservation and did not have the car for me. I had to quickly find another provider through a different web site to avoid a catastrophic holiday season. The fact that they made it look like I had a car and took my payment in advance only to tell me later that they could not honor what I would believe is a contractual agreement is HORRIBLE. I am still trying to get my money back for something I never received. DO NOT USE E-Z CAR IF YOU WANT TO BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE WHAT KAYAK LEADS YOU TO BELIEVE. IT MAY NOT BE TRUE!

Pros:I rented the car for 2 days even though I was just planning to drive one day. The trip planned was Dallas-Austin-Dallas. When I finally found the EZ Car Rental office it was almost impossible to figure out how to get from the parking area to the actual office. After I gave them my driver's license and credit card I told my wife to leave and go home. When I got back to the rental counter he said, "You know this is a local rental and you have 150 miles per day and over that is $.37 per mile." That would have doubled the cost of the rental so I called my wife to return and pick me up. I had to cancel my trip to my Sister's house where she is in a wheel chair disabled by M.S. I have rented a car many times for this monthly trip and have never had this problem with any other car rental company. I suspect there was something on the reservation which should have alerted me to this exceptional situation but it was certainly not prominent.
Cons:Hard to find. Dirty facility. Contract not what I expected. Massive inconvenience.
