The car I reserved, full size SUV Ford Expidition waa not avaiable as promoted. I had 4 passengers with 8 pieces of luggage so I needed a full size SUV. Instead a Toyota Highlander was offered as a substitute or I would have to wait potentially several hours for the car I reserved. I didn' have , the time to wait. I ended up in an undersized very cramped car for a 14 hour drive from NY to Atlanta,, GA.

Booked the managers choice for car, but when I went to pick it up I was informed it was an electric car and that it needed to be returned with at least 80% charge. As it wasn’t a Tesla, I asked where one could charge near the airport (as we were staying closer to Galveston, it would be an hour+ drive back to the airport) and the desk worker told me they didn’t know. Not wanting to end up paying an undercharged car fee, I was forced to pay more than double at the desk for an economy car. Staff was curt throughout the whole experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the pickup and drop off process. Our flight was so early and we were running a little late but being able to drop off the car was such a smooth process it helped us make our flight on time.

Loved that they were able to accommodate us. When we booked the rental, it was for seven people. We didn’t realize there would be no space for luggage. The seven passenger SUV did not fit us nor our luggage. We asked if we could get a sprinter van and they said no, they didn’t have any in stock. We ended up with a 12 passenger van, which was more than enough space but not easy to get around in Aruba, and challenging to park. The staff at both check-in and return were very helpful and kind. We also assumed that when we put in the airport location that is where we would’ve been picking up the car however, the airport location sent us to a hotel that was a $60 cab ride away. Still don’t understand how that happened, but it all worked out, just way more expensive than we had originally planned.

All good apart from being charged a cross-border fee of 65 francs. Hired a car with Alamo two weeks previously and was not charged at all - and wasn't even asked if I was going across any borders. Seems like a desk scam

Car interior seats needed to be steam clean they were not very clean, car had a lot of dings but at least it ran well.

I went to pick up vehicle that I rented a month before get there they don’t have it. It says in the contract they would give me something similar I rented a 7 passenger van and all they had was a 15 passenger van that was way to big and that was my only choice between that and another huge van okay I understand if they don’t have my vehicle but to charge me an extra 46 dollars a day for something that was not my mistake is unacceptable so I had to pay an extra 400 that affects my finances for my family’s trip very unhappy and thrifty was absolutely no help at all needless to say I was furious I would love to talk to an actual human being not an aI generated person from thrifty they said it’s not their problem

Great experience from check in to drop off. I took the mystery choice for vehicles and ended up with a Ram 1500 truck. Loved it so much, I am out looking for a new truck!

The station did not remain open for our delayed flight. The next day we received an old model with a very high mileage. The seats were dirty. No screen wash.
