Big line up. Computer was down. Only one person was attending and writing all info by hand. Other people were around but not interested in helping customer. Enterprise had 4 people helping customers, Gave me big vehicle (not asked for it) cost me more gas as well high insurance charges.Reviewed 28 Sep 2024

I rented a car one-way from Calgary airport with a drop off in Banff. I rented the car at about noon and return the car in Banff approx. 7:00pm. I told them I’d be arriving to Banff after they closed at 6:00pm and I was told to put the keys on the drop box. It took me forever to find the parking and when I did find it. I followed the Avis return signs. Once I made about 2 turns down the parking garage, I came to a sign that said the Avis rental car return was closed and to go back up a level. I did this, I found a place to park and went upstairs and dropped the keys in the drop box. I had the car approx. 7 hours total. Today, 4 days later, I got a call from Avis asking if I still had the rental car that was supposed to be returned on the 12th. I told him all of this and I still have not heard back, I still have a huge charge on my credit card and no receipt. Absolute WORST experience!!!Reviewed 16 Sep 2024

I have heard about the AVIS , the best , but i am really sorry to say if you do not have stock of cars why you take advance booking . I was standing 2 hour for getting the key how ever i requested many time but they newer had listen . I have very bad experience with AVIS , I am a business man twice a month i come from vancouver first time i took your company. but very very bad experience , you should hire the soft spoken and care taken employ for public dealing . regards. Check-in was perfunctory, no welcome, substitute car. Car does not have navigation activated - unacceptable in a new car. Car not particularly clean. 10d into car hire screen says Maintenance required, take car to Dealer. Avis app (I’m a Preferred member) - no way to email them and ask why? Unfortunately I don’t have telephone connection to ask. Had to ask maintenance question via QEEQ (booking agent). On plus side, the Toyota has run without any issues other than the screen message. Drop off location was very unusual. unoccupied office, leave it in the carpark with no one to check it in. then we were a very long way from the airport terminal were we were to catch our flight.Reviewed 28 Jul 2024
