Long Lines, far longer than the other rental carriers and noticed their customers in and out much faster than Budget. Car was in great shape and got great MPG for Alaska. The drop-off was somewhat strange, note: Gas Stations are a bit of a distance from the airport so keep that mind if you're planning on filling up before dropping off. The Key-Drop was unusual, luckily an attendant was there to assist.Reviewed 14 Aug. 2022

Searched for 6 months and found this to be the best price in Anchorage. Reserved a sedan, but was upgraded to VW Tiguan at no extra charge. No difficulties with pickup or return. Not a Budget issue, but ANC should have more luggage carts available.Reviewed 13 Jul. 2022

Budget pulled a bait and switch. I reserved a car in January 2022 for our June 2022 vacation. I received a confirmation. I was able to obtain a very good rate because I reserved it ahead of time. However when I called two days before our trip to reconfirm my reservation I was told that the reservation had been canceled. They claim that I canceled it, which I never did . Further there was no cancellation email ever received by me. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they transferred me to three or four different employees who either transferred me to someone else or hung up on me. When I finally was able to speak to someone they said they couldn’t help me, the reservation had been canceled and there’s nothing they can do. BUT, they said that they had the same car available that I had originally reserved and would be happy to rent it to me for THREE TIMES the original quoted price. Budget is a scam! I will never rent from them again. I would never recommend them to anyone.Reviewed 8 Jul. 2022

When we arrived at Anchorage to pick up rental we were told our rental was cancelled by corporate because the rate we got was too cheap. Our rental was supposed to be $227 when we booked in January. They said they would give us a deal for $50 a day plus tax bringing our total just over $600. We asked to talk to manager who finally gave us the rate we booked to in his words “just get us out of there”. We watched the do the same to other renters behind us. The ones we saw just went with it. Shows lack of integrity on budgets part for the switch and bait. Whether it was corporate or the manager at anchorage airport budget show some integrity and honor the rates which you put out. Only time I’ve ever rented a car that someone has tried to taken advantage of me.Reviewed 29 Jun. 2022
