The only issue I had was when I tried to change the pickup time due to a plane gettin late it was IMPOSSIBLE!!! I called so many different people and kept getting passed around with no help whatsoever. But the pickup went extremely well. The staff in Greenville/Spartanburg were extremely nice and helpful and that process went amazingly wellReviewed 20 Jul. 2022

The car leaked oil and we had to add oil along the way. The radio system didn’t work. The car wasn’t very clean and the outside had some dings and scratches.Reviewed 19 May 2022

I rented through Priceline and was given a $219 total with taxes and fees. At the counter I added LDW for $35 a day for 2 days. (because I’ve been accused of rock chip in a windshield that almost cost me $1300.) First car I received had very bald tires. As in no tread lines at all on the inside bald. And they were cupped badly. I had to return that one and get another, which put me behind an hour on our trip. They said the printer was not working, so I was given no paperwork for the car. Returning the car I told them I filled it up less than a 1/4 mile away and had a picture on my phone of the dash with mileage and a full tank. I asked for a total price and was told $302. Again no paper receipt was given but they emailed it to me. However, I was in a parking garage and couldn’t get it on my phone. About 10 minutes after leaving the airport I checked my email and was billed $352. They added a fuel charge. Even though I specifically told them it was full. So I then check my credit card statement to see the charges and I had 3 pending for $419 each. $1258 and some change. I’ve had to call Budget/ Avis with gas receipt info to get this sorted out. Still waiting to see if that actually went through. My warning is take MANY pictures before and after renting. I should have stuck around and waited for the emailed receipt to come through and had them take a picture of their computer screen with my phone. I feel this is normal practice for them, so next time I’ll try a different agency. Good luck!Reviewed 9 May 2022

Office was poorly organized. No supervisor on site. Car provided was not what was reserved. Price differential for downgrade was minimal. Initial hill was calculated to be 3x what was reserved, even though the car was smaller than what I reserved. And the check out took about an hour by the time the desk processed the one customer that was ahead of me in line. Overall very poor.Reviewed 22 Feb. 2022

I made a reservation for 3pm. Arrived precisely at 2:55 and was told the class of vehicle I reserved was unavailable. I requested a 7 passenger vehicle for a wedding in which I needed seating for 7. Was offered a mini van, declined that due to an impending blizzard and the potential need for all wheel drive. Ended up having to wait 1 hour 15 minutes before a vehicle was available causing myself and those I was traveling with to miss the rehearsal. It is very unlikely that I will be renting from budget/Avis group anytime in the future.Reviewed 22 Jan. 2022

After waiting first in line for over 20 minutes the person running the desk said “I’m not going to be able to honor your reservation. We are out of cars.” He didn’t apologize or offer explanation. It was after 10 PM and we were almost stuck at the airport. Terrible!Reviewed 21 Dec. 2021

The Budget agent at the GSP airport was very rude. She kept telling me and other customers that she was single handed and didn't know what cars they had in stocks. She also said that she was a surviving cancer patient, what ever it had to do with rental cars!. She kept arguing until I walked out and went to a competition. Shame on Budget for treating customers like that.Reviewed 18 Dec. 2021
