When I arrived to pick up the vehicle they did not have any. Said they could find something by the next day. Will never use Kayak again. Reservations mean nothing. When I asked how this happened, they said it happens all the time. Expecially when booking through a third Party. Never again with budget and certainly never again with KayakReviewed 2 May 2022

After I reserved a large SUV and had a great price locked in, I showed up in person to pick up the vehicle only to be told that I was not allowed to rent it because I did not have a credit card!!! I asked the woman working if I could just pay the full amount up front with a debit card and all she said was " no, I'm sorry". I asked if there was another solution, she just said no!! Meanwhile, I had a whole trip planned and a hotel and everything!! I was never told about the credit card policy. So I went down the street to the Enterprise rental place and was able to rent a vehicle. Although I wasn't able to get an SUV, I was able to rent a new Chrysler Pacifica van. I ended up having to pay an extra $120, but at least I was able to rent something. So I don't know if this was something I should have been told by kayak or Budget.Reviewed 7 Oct. 2021

Was treated with racial slurs because the color of my skin in my appearance the manager in Homestead was very rude Leon Leroy that way he told me his name was no name tag on told me I have to wear a mask and it was a Spanish guy that came in with no mask on and he let him stay in the store just like that he told me it was store policies to wear a mask and made me go get a mask but the Spanish guy stayed in the store without a mask so racist the Budget Inn Homestead the guy said he was the manager and told me his name was Leroy or Leon something needs to be done about thisReviewed 31 Jul. 2021

Pros:The gentlemen working the desk did a good job of making sure I left the pickup location happy.Cons:The truck I requested was not there at my scheduled pickup time and was told it would be at least four hours before it might arrive. The car I ended up getting was dirty, as were all the cars on the lot. Fourth-five minutes into my drive the low oil light came on and when I stopped to check it it was a quart low. Last thing was I rented the SunPass and after a quick search was able to locate it in the bottom of the glove box but it would not stick to the window so I had to lay it up in the dash. I’m hoping all the toll stations picked up on it so I don’t get toll by plate chargesReviewed 22 Apr. 2021

Pointless and rudeCons:I made a reservation online and when I called to let them know I was on my way then they had given my vehicle to someone else and had nothing left for me. So making the reservationwas a waste of time. Also the guy who answered at the CUTLER BAY 9828 SW 184TH STREET in the MIAMI location was very very rude, unprofessional and kept talking over me saying "call corporate. Call corporate. Service-peak SeasonPros:When we arrived they did have a long line, however, the line did love rather quickly and the process to rent a vehicle was rather short. The car was cleaned and was given a free upgrade without the representative trying to sale is an upgrade to avoid a longer wait. She was absolutely great as she made the process seamless.Cons:Policies-tolls: Sunpass cost, they charge you a daily fee for Sunpass in addition to the cost of tolls.Reviewed 21 Nov. 2016
