Pros:The gentlemen working the desk did a good job of making sure I left the pickup location happy.Cons:The truck I requested was not there at my scheduled pickup time and was told it would be at least four hours before it might arrive. The car I ended up getting was dirty, as were all the cars on the lot. Fourth-five minutes into my drive the low oil light came on and when I stopped to check it it was a quart low. Last thing was I rented the SunPass and after a quick search was able to locate it in the bottom of the glove box but it would not stick to the window so I had to lay it up in the dash. I’m hoping all the toll stations picked up on it so I don’t get toll by plate chargesReviewed 22 Apr. 2021

Cons:Kayak allowed me to make a reservation at 9am and when I showed up at 9;30 the distributor had 0 cars to give me and said I’d have to wait until 1pm. The connection between Kayak and the distributor should definitely be tighter and NOT allow for reservations to be made when no cars are available. Luckily another customer returned a car 45 min later that I was able to take but that system is totally flawed.Reviewed 19 Feb. 2020

Service-peak SeasonPros:When we arrived they did have a long line, however, the line did love rather quickly and the process to rent a vehicle was rather short. The car was cleaned and was given a free upgrade without the representative trying to sale is an upgrade to avoid a longer wait. She was absolutely great as she made the process seamless.Cons:Policies-tolls: Sunpass cost, they charge you a daily fee for Sunpass in addition to the cost of tolls.Reviewed 21 Nov. 2016

Will never use budget again! Ruined my final day oPros:NothingCons:Customer service modified my reservation to pick up an hour later without my request or knowledge and the price went up $25/day. I called back and another customer service rep "recovered" my old reservation then changed the drop off location by mistake and the woman at budget who was in a rush to get to lunch ran my card before showing me the contract which caused another issue. Since she ran my card it showed my reservation was now open and could not be modified. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with a very rude customer service rep, Oscar, while at Budget in Key Largo, being disconnected several times and when I asked to speak to a supervisor the representative said there wasn't any around. Then said he would put me on hold and kept me waiting 15 minutes until the phone coincidentally disconnected. The last phone call they claimed I would definitely not be charged the $300 one way fee because budget customer service is the one who screwed it up and changed it without my knowledge but I dropped the car off at the airport and they charged me $371 for a 1 day rental which I booked over a month ago for $33.66. I will never use Budget again. It ruined my final day of vacation and I will tell everyone I know not to rent from them.Reviewed 7 Apr. 2016
