I liked that i could pick up from pdx. The issues were that the way to pick up from pdx was not clear and was very confusing. No clearly marked entry until you park in the parking structure and then ask someone where to go. Also we were not told why we were charged so much in the end and there was no receipt explaining the extra charges.Reviewed 2 Apr 2026

That was my worst experience ever renting a car over an hour and a half trying to even get the car rental. How is there only one person working at budget but the rest of the counters had two people. Good as a whole. Pickup was dreadful. It took almost an hour and fifteen minutes to pick up car. There were not enough people working and they couldn’t seem to find the cars that had been reserved. It was better for me than the folks who had prepaid because their cars weren’t ready and they were very angry. Budget knew how many people had reserved cars and yet they couldn’t pull it off.
