Parking & rental car pickup/drop-off at STT airport is transitioning so quite the mess now. On the positive side, I unknowingly left my debit card in the rental car after returning it. Debbie hunted me down to inform me and she was kind enough to shred my card as I dealt with my bank. Very kind. On day 3 of 12 day rental, low tire pressure was displayed on dashboard. Called Budget and was told to bring in the car and “we’ll fix it”’. Despite late hour on Sunday, it was fixed in 30 minutes. Very kind again.Reviewed 24 Jan. 2023

Staff was friendly enough but not helpful. When we arrived there were people waiting for vehicles. Some were waiting 1/2 an hour or so. The check-in process was slow. Once assigned a car, you walk a while, self document damage and go. Our vehicle was badly damaged on all four bumpers. As we would drive and hear things rattling, we were sure a bumper would fall off. It didn't, but it wasn't at all good. The return process is not clear. There's no help. Limited signage. And this is a rental place inside the airport; typically a seamless process. The cost was a very poor value at about $150/ day for a Hyundai Elantra. Do not recommend.Reviewed 31 Mar. 2022

Vehicle was damaged in multiple areas and took pictures of entire vehicle inside and outside due to threat by staff that if it was damaged or came with 1 mile less than a full tank of gas, I would be charged. I had bought the insurance at time of reservation and the insurance even said they might try to have me buy another insurance policy….which they pushed. So technically, I bought both the extra policy online and had my personal insurance policy which had rental car coverage but they wanted me to take another one out at the rental desk threatening me that if the vehicle was damaged in any way….my credit card would be charged the value of the vehicle. Between that and the gas statement…..they make a hard push to tack on extras. I did get gas 2 miles away and they did a checkin quickly and no additional charges so far on credit card.Reviewed 14 Aug. 2021
