The rental vehicle had nearly bald front tires. (Gray Kia Soul with Utah plates: U198PN.) If I had noticed at the rental lot (Sonoma County Airport) I would have insisted on a different vehicle. It was irresponsible for the company to rent a vehicle with tires in that condition. The rear tires were fine so probably the tires had not been rotated front-to-rear on a correct schedule, and no one had bothered to check the tires despite the vehicle having 35k miles on it.Reviewed 6 Aug. 2023

I had two reservations with Budget - one immediately following the other because of a change of plans. In order for me to "modify" and consolidate the reservations into one, Budget said I would have to pay approximately $300 more. The modification would have saved not only me time and convenience, it would have done the same for Budget employees. This is for using the car for the same number of days (5). I left my phone number and e-mail with the Budget agent and asked that a supervisor review this. I never heard anything.Reviewed 14 Jul. 2022

Pros:the car was fine. no one was at the drop off location when I returned the car. now budget keeps calling saying i never returned the car. Pros:Quick, easy and as simple as it should be.Cons:I spoke with the representative at STS and confirmed that there wasn’t a fee to drop the car in San Fran at a different location. I picked the car up and noon and told him we were escaping the fires and dropping the car off today. We go to San Fran a couple of hours later. The office had closed at 1pm and the valet at the hotel told me there was a $25-$35 charge?Reviewed 28 Oct. 2019

Easy to find drop off at nightPros:I liked that it was easy to find, night drop was available.Cons:Being late night drop off, would’ve made more sense to me a little better instructions about what papers are being dropped off. Also, a sensor had gone off about a brake light bulb that went out en route to my destination.
