Pros: Lovely Inn in a slightly edge of town location. Comfortable rooms, homely feeling and free, off-street parking! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were served with wine and quite extensive snacks when we arrived early evening which is a very nice touch. Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Nothing - although the inn is expensive for the facilities provided (we had paid less for a country inn with extensive facilities in the days before)- but I don't think it was out of line with Santa Monica generally.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everyone is so friendly and are happy to help in any way you ask.
Cons: Everything was perfect

Would definitely recommend.

Staff recognise you and greet you by your name and are willing to help with any request you may have. 6.8 Good
Pros: Location Staff Complimentary Breakfast
Cons: Room maintenance
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful ambience. Very "homey", with a gracious and polite staff.
Cons: The room was relatively small, with an overhead and noisy air conditioner. The "Velvet Room" at the hotel appeared charming, but despite the fact that the hotel manager recommended going there on a Thursday night, we could not get served there at around 9:50pm because they were "shutting down". Ironically, we had tried to order drinks at the Velvet Room bar 10 minutes earlier, but there were too many people at the bar to get our order in, and by the time we located a table in the bar, which was about 80% occupied, we were told that management had instructed the bartenders to "shut things down". Needless to say, we were miffed that the hotel manager had highlighted the speakeasy as a charming amenity of the hotel at the morning breakfast , only to be shut out from the premises prior to 10:00pm on the very same evening.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The whole atmosphere of the hotel is great, and the rooms are really nice. The hotel offers free jazz in the hotel bar each night and shows old silent films on the wall which is something a little different.
Cons: The breakfast is a fairly long way below average - very limited selection and not particularly fresh. It's included in the price (seemingly a rarity locally) but paying a little bit to get something better would have been preferable.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I had my 30th birthday at your hotel on my last night as a 29 year old “Saying Goodbye To My Roaring 20’s”!! It was the PERFECT spot for this occasion with the class and history of your amazing hotel. Your room blew me away with its classic 1920’s-1930’s style/decor. Every personal detail created a positive impression on me from the tub to the lamp shades to the chandelier. Thank you
Cons: 1) I was a little surprised to see that I did not have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a toothbrush in the hotel room when I arrived. I have never not had the basic bathing essentials at a hotel - ever 2) The shower was difficult to use (although very beautiful)
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: None
Cons: Request a refund for two miserable nights. Shower system was broken the first night and we couldn’t use it without the help of a screw driver to tighten the shower head. Asked to have it fixed but the second night was worse. No repairs were done in spite of our request. Maintenance at the Culver Hotel is poor. Could have stayed at a better place for a better price. Will never stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its was so comfy and cool
7.5 Good
Pros: Not a regular hotel, the bar at nights.
Cons: Breakfast was disorganized. Some mornings we couldn't find a table, or the tables weren't set or clean. There was always something missing from the breakfast table (cups, or fruit, or juice). There are shorthand of people. Was difficult to ask for expresso coffee or the bill. All mornings where the same, no variation. Asking for eggs was al odisea. The avenue can have traffic noise.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The common spaces are charming. Nice live music at noght
Cons: Not enough plugs in room. Air conditioning just fair. A little noisy,
7.5 Good
Pros: Olde worlde feel, a good social hub in the evenings, rooms generous in size and well furnished
Cons: Gym with one running machine isn't a gym, zero customer service at breakfast - help yourself unattended buffet, massive construction works next door
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Best hotel in the area, staff were great, continental breakfast was tasty, hotel bar and restaurant were very nice, very comfortable beds
Cons: Not a whole lot in the area, no pool, felt slightly pricey
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Safe, Clean, Comfortable, Upscale and friendly. I loved the bed and bedding. The flat steak was one of the best I have ever tasted. I liked that you could open the window and get fresh air or turn on the air conditioner.
Cons: Breakfast was good except the bacon was almost raw. I informed the management and they were very responsive and accepted my comment in a way that was appreciative. I was in a rush. I'm certain if I sent it back they would have sent me a new dish. Though they probably could have taken it off my bill. I did eat the eggs and they were delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: High Tea was the best!
Cons: Not a thing

Cons: Our room view was horrible and beach access had issues with homelessness
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, clean, helpful staffs
Cons: Pool was small. On picture it shows two pools and there only one
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect
Cons: Pillows in the bed
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The decor was amazing with a beautiful scent throughout. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and the room was spacious. The lobby lounge area was a beautiful space to relax and have a drink.
Cons: The Wi-fi kept dropping out which I wouldn’t expect from a hotel with a $30 daily service fee. The water service in our room was hit & miss on the last couple of days. Loungers around the pool were very limited and there was no one monitoring if they were in use. We could not get one as they lay empty with used towels on. Would expect a hotel of this calibre to have a better poolside operation.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Facilities are beautiful, staff is super friendly. Lots of character - way better than the other nearby chain hotels. Pool terrace has a great view of the beach - Palm Terrace rooms are great since you get a patio!
Cons: Pool is quite small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service , first time stayed here and been to Santa Monica
Cons: Service in the lounge was slow during breakfast

Pros: Perfect Location *****
Cons: Breakfast not included.
6.8 Good
Cons: very late check in (7:00pm) & Spa booking was ignored by the staff & i missed the chance to get a message because of that, although i contacted them several times by email prior to the check in, and after all that bad things happened to me no one offered any kind of compensation, disappointing behavior for such a luxurious hotel.

Pros: Location and size of the rooms
Cons: The front desk staff were really not professional in check-in as the rooms were not ready until 6 Pm which is very bad experience to us. Also, they ask us to checkout at 12 noon. 9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean and comfortable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great interiors, specious and light. Very good breakfast
Cons: a swimming pool is a one thing that is missing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was great! Good products.
Cons: Bathroom pretty tiny. No outdoor space at this property, i.e. roofdeck or patio dining
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Well- appointed room, good location, nice staff
Cons: resort fee was charged, but hotel does not have any resort amenities - no pool, spa, outdoor space
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is very well located, one block away from the Ocean dr and a few blocks away from the Promenade. That was our main reason to choose the hotel. The rooftop restaurant is very nice and no so expensive, considering the prices in the area. The staff was nice, specially the people from the restaurant. The "breakfast included" offer consists in a $50 usd daily credit to use in the restaurant at breakfast hours; the credit is enough for a couple to have a good, tasty breakfast. When we had a problem, they tried to find a solution and compensate us for the inconvenience.
Cons: The hotel is quite expensive, in line with the area. But at that price you would expect a bit more from the property. There is no pool, and there was a bit of noise every morning from 7am (housekeeping). There are just two elevators for 18th floors and some times you needed to wait a while for them. I let them know in advanced that our 21th wedding anniversary would be one of the days that we were there and there was not even a small detail, not even a note at the room or something to let us know that they care about it; that was a bit disappointing considering the hotel level. The first day, we arrived at almost 4pm and our room was not ready although the check-in time was from 3pm; they apologized and invited us to have some snacks in the restaurant on them till the room was ready at about 5pm. The delay was not cool but they look for a way to minimize the effect. Overall, my impression was that it lacks the final touch that push you to come back.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: Pool on property
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Literally Every thing.
Cons: It’s a bit far from the beach + no pool
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I love the location the most, its proximity to 3rd st boulevard, the beach, soul cycle and some great restaurants.
Cons: I would have loved a swimming pool but with the beach so close it wasn't the end of the world.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, luxurious. Penthouse bar and restaurant is gorgeous and also where the gorgeous people hang out.
Cons: Parking is valet only and at $43.15 per day. No pool but who needs that when the beach is on your doorstep?
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and hi tech rooms
Cons: Little too pricey
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, ambiance, views and roof top restaurant were all excellent
Cons: of the 3 elevators in the hotel, only 1 was working while we were there....resulting in delays in getting around.

Cons: No shuttle service from the airport
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and mostly quiet
Cons: Got the parking lot view but I guess that shouldn't surprise. Would still do it again.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Dirty, does not meet 5 star hotel in term of decorations, building, bathrooms showers are old and so dirty, quality of food...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed comfort some of the best in the world. Fresh clean. This hotel is pure quality. Been 11 years since I last stayed here and there are few I have stayed in of same quality.
Cons: The reception staff. Bell staff and lady behind the bar were all first class. However seating waiting for evening meal guests were forgotten no drinks etc. To the point of people moving to sit at the bar for service. Breakfast a similar story dirty dishes not cleared from table and no staff around for service. This was a shame as apart from the restaurant everyone else was 10/10 for service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at this hotel was so attentive and accommodating. I also loved the view from our room onto the pool and marina.

6.3 Good
Pros: Pillows and bed was very comfortable, housekeeping very friendly and helpful
Cons: Prices too high for food that was below average. Could not use the sitting areas to relax due to filming a movie there. Had to not talk once you came down from you room. Was told to be quiet due to filming. This was the whole day. Really!!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I love Ritz Carlton and the comfort of the rooms is exceptional along with the staff. All the staff are helpful and accommodating.
Cons: but this stay was disappointing only because I booked this hotel specifically for the spa services and the steam and sauna were not working. I will frequent the hotel but hope they are able to rectify this. I would have preferred a discount due to the unavailability of those services.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very hospitable; great Staff; very well maintained
Cons: People were smoking marijuana in room next door when there was a no smoking policy !

I was with my son looking at colleges in CA - Your company is deplorable and you suck!
Cons: Everything

Pros: Breakfast is surprisingly good. Wifi speed is fast as well.
Cons: The room seems old. The room that we stayed in, I wish they would cover the kitchen disposal sink instead of leave it wide open. It looks like "unfinished" kitchen. The remote TV was super "dusty" when I cleaned them up. Carpet floor was also dirt

6.0 Good
Pros: Good location; great proximity to downtown restaurants and shops. Bed was comfortable, front desk staff was friendly.
Cons: Bathroom was dingy and difficult to use. Floor, shower and sink basin are concrete and not desirable in any way. Bathroom sink ackward and not conducive to even washing hands. Floor looked dirty. I expected much more from a traditional BH Hotel. Spent a brief moment in the bar. Bar staff was inattentive and aloof. Thermostat in the room was broken and the room was cold all night. I'm the morning, no valet until 7:00 a.m. I had to fetch my own car from the parking garage across the street. I am not likely to return...

Cons: bed is too small and mattress too soft, room lighting is not great and the bathroom and toiled seat way too small.

Pros: The Crescent is a beautiful boutique hotel in a wonderful location right in the center of Beverly Hills. The bar area is great for a relaxing drink after a busy day and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The hotel is decorated well with movie icons lining the walls. There are lots of great touches to make your stay more comfortable such as bath robes in the rooms. My son lost his phone when we were there and the lovely man on reception helped us to get it back. The staff always meet and greet you when you enter A great stay
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Charming small boutique hotel great location and staff.

Cons: The parking situation was a bit confusing and expensive and the hotel employee from valet was very rude.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our room was very clean, and the check in process was quick.
Cons: I wasn't overly fond of paying $17 for parking after paying $200 for the night. The room was great, but I feel that it'd be nice to have the parking as a part of the cost of the room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Food is pretty good. Location is good. Friendly staff.
Cons: No pool, or outdoor area. A little bit dated feeling.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The staff are great the, the lady in the restaurant service is amazing, loves her job and will treat you like a son or grand child, she even made me African chai which was good of her unfortunately I did pick her name but is a mature lady and was the only one I was getting there.

Pros: Did not have breakfast . Location is good
Cons: noisy wedding reception in front of my balcony when I was hoping to read and get some peace and quiet on the Saturday. Pool party on the Sunday with loud DJ, did not know that this was happening. Fortunately I managed ti get a subbed but it was not easy as they seemed to be a lot of non hotel guests there.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location only.
Cons: No available parking except only through Valet. This was not mentioned when making reservation. They are taking advantage of the customer. Additionally they show no flexibility in 30 minutes delay in Check up even for one of the two rooms reserved in my name....I am truely unhappy and this will be my last visit and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was Big
Cons: The view on the parking lot
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely location, pool etc.
Cons: Noise from upper floor.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The quietness of the room. We were not bothered by noise from the hall, or rooms on either side, or even the room above us. We vacation often, and it's rare to find that level of quietness.
Cons: The staff at the front desk did not seem to know what they were doing; they were rude, unhelpful and did not accommodate even the simplest of requests nor could anyone answer the simplest of questions. I travel for long weekends to the beach often, sometimes twice a month, and then report back to a large group of local family and friends about my stays. I was hoping to be able to say the Marina Del Rey Hotel offered a top notch experience at a little over $1,200 for a 42 hour stay, but I can't. Our room was disappointing, housekeeping was disappointing as we were out until 3pm on Saturday and came back to an unmade room, Happy Hour was disappointing because we were seated outside in direct sunlight and it was very uncomfortable and hot, and honestly I could go on. My niece is an attorney and her office is looking for a place to hold their Àutumn retreat and when she asked me tonight about the hotel I stayed at, I told her to maybe try the Ritz Carlton because I don't feel I got value for my money this weekend, never mind the wonderful experience my daughter and I were hoping for.

5.5 Okay
Pros: Good area/position in the harbour Decor & general hotel was lovely Nice pool area
Cons: Uninterested reception staff Bar staff who ignored you Cleaners chucked room service trays etc in the corridors which stayed there for hours Overall very expensive for the service you get!(we stayed at cheaper hotels on our trip and they were 100x better!)
