    None of the above

    The worse Hotel I’ve ever stood at. The Best western is 10 times better!

    Everything, is false advertisement! I’ts horrible over all....everything is Old and falling apart. The bar & restaurants are very poorly stocked. It literally looks like a hotel that got stuck in the 80’s. Very abandoned! Elevator was terrible! This hotel shouldn’t even fall under an all inclusive resort! I wouldn’t even rate @ a half star hotel.

    Loud Parties and taxi booking confusion but great food.

    The extras to the room. They gave a bottle of champagne in room, cake and snacks delivered to room in evening at no extra charge. Greeted us with a cold beverage at checkin. The main resteraunt is nice, good food and prices and great service. the breakfast buffet is great, many choices.

    Loud parties into the night both nights we were hoping for a quiet stay at the end our vacation. We booked a taxi for connecting with a tour we had prepurchased elsewhere. we told the bellboy the hotel name we needed to get to for our pickup, he suggested how long it would take by taxi to get there and confirmed our taxi pickup time, he seemed to understand. Yet when we went to get picked p we found the details were all wrong. they had not booked a taxi they booked a different tour, different time of day and all wrong details and werent really helpful to fix it. we ended up making calls on our own phones and barely got a taxi on time after a lot of panic.

    About right for the money

    The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The beach, of course and the food was good as well.

    I don't want to sound like I'm slamming this property, I'm not, we had an overall enjoyable stay. It is however a little tired and worn. At least half a dozen lounge chairs by the pool need to be replaced. The sewer smell sometimes comes through the drain in the bathroom. Our a/c became very noisy and was not fixed. One odd practice is that wait staff give you these little critique forms and expect you to leave it with the signed bill. I don't mind filling them out and giving them to the front desk at checkout, but leaving with my server that I will probably have again during my stay seems odd. Also, couldn't they just throw out the bad reviews when they pick up the check? Overall, nice people and a way to stay on the beach on a budget, but I doubt we'll return.

    loved the view

    The overall experience was good. The guy at the reception gave us good recommendations for local restaurants. The whole personal was very polite. The room was clean and we had an awesome viiew of the beach.

    The hotel looks rundown and a bit tacky. They were painting the hallways when we got there. The shower in our bathroom was missing a door. The ac wasn't cooling enough and the room next to ours was gutted.

    On the fence

    My boyfriend and I really appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the ocean view our room had. Bed was huge and comfortable. Most of the staff was extremely courteous and generous. Beach and pool area was really well taken care of and definitely where you will be spending most of your day. My absolute favorite part was lounging on the not too crowded beach in a cabana with an on the house piña colada.Food is pretty good too.

    The location is alright..a little far from anything going on but busses are only 1$ to get there and they stop right in front of the hotel every 3-5 minutes. The hotel itself, while some parts are updated is a little disappointing compared to the pictures, but since it is clean and beachside and the beds are comfy you kind of forget the rest. The one thing that stuck out to me I didn't like was upon check in I felt like I was trying to be sucked in to paying more, since i prepaid online. You just have to be firm "no I paid for two nights already. No I did not add the breakfast option. No I did not want an extra bed there's just two of us" but if you're firm and know what you ordered you'll be fine. That was just ONE staff member out of everyone though, everyone else was really courteous and kind. Overall I got what I paid for a beachside hotel with soft sand and a relaxing pool.

    Best location/staff

    Excellent hotel of this class...looks like a newer property and it is kept extremely clean. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast area is spacious and one of the best in Cancun I have experienced. Fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, oranges, apples, and bananas) in addition to all the other hot and cold items. This stay was during several events in town and they handled groups well. Parking is adequate with some overflow in the back, lower lot. I was upgraded to a suite which was very nice and spacious with microwave and refer. I'll be back to this place and highly recommend to others when in the area. Thanks a lot for the lovely time

    Great mid-level option.

    The pool and the closeness to the beach. Compared to other all inclusive hotels in the area, Bel Air had good food.

    The rooms were outdated. The A/C is not adequate so you room will be humid.

    Disappointing

    Nothing!!!

    It was really annoying that they gave me a room that was just painted. I stained the clothes I was wearing when I sat on the jacuzzi. When I was on the pool I ordered a couple of beers that's it.. At the end they were charging me for several meals worth like $100... I complained about it and the member staff confirmed that I ordered that amount of food... After all I ask them to show me videos of it. Of course there weren't any so they just ask me to pay for what I really consumed. I do not recommend this hotel at all!

    The air broke in our room and it took over 6 times for them to finally move us to another room..

    The pool.

    The hotel looks really old and used. The area is horrible, build with monster hotels. I do not reccommend this hotel and Cancun to anybody.

    The hotel was nice, clean and quiet. The room spacious and the bed comfortable.

    The location. The beach was nice, but there were no shops and only few restaurants around. Tips were not asked but very welcome for everything which is a bit strange for a European traveller.

    Although the hotel appeared to have been rennovated a number of years ago and the rooms could do with a little refresh (the white is hard to keep clean!!), we felt it was good value for what we paid. The cost of food and drinks at the pool bar was reasonable and there were some nice extra's like afternoon tea free of charge.

    Our sheets had stains and the room furniture was grotty. Also, the hotel has been build on a turtle nesting ground!! We were lucky to see some baby turtles hatch and even a mother turtle lay some eggs while we were there... but how can a strip of hotels right on top of their nesting ground be good for the conservation of these beautiful creatures?

    the rooms were beautifully designed. pool was wonderful as it looked out into the ocean. they also offered spa services onsite and also dinner on the beach

    A small and intimate hotel, our room was fairly comfortable and big, the Caribbean view from our porch was pretty nice, staff were always nice and the pool was comfortable

    the elevators were lighted with a horrible led colors and covered with a cheap silver paper like,only one computer at all of the hotel available for the guests, the jacuzzi was not working and was not fixed during all of our stay.

    We loved staying at the Bel Air Collection and Spa Cancun. The staff are so friendly and cant do enough for you. It really is a dream paradise.

    I didnt care too much for the food at the hotel. I also didnt like the fact that the room service menu is only in spanish and they dont cater for the english speaking guests which when we were there they were the majority. Also the music played in the hotel could be updated, the same music was played every day 3 times a day, it got so boring after a while.

    Very nice atmosphere. Very luxurious and cheek.

    There seemed to be ants in our room. I am not sure if this is common in the area due to the climate or aa house keeping issue.
