Great stay in Charleston
Clean, friendly staff, perfect location!
Wifi was spotty
Great location in Charleston
The location cannot be beat--the art throughout adds to the atmosphere of the hotel.
Bed too high up--I needed a stepladder to get in--the hardwood floors were shined and polished so much that I thought I would slip and fall.
excellent boutique experience in great location.
the vendue was wonderful. the staff were firefly and helpful and the room was very comfortable and well appointed. the location was also great. if you want even more character it may be better to say in the 26 vendue building but the advantage of 19, where I stayed, was that amenities were closer.
Wonderful....but not the best of the best
Location, ambiance; roof deck
No Fitness area; limited toiletry selections; a little noisy ( it's old); you will pay a lot!
Comprised of several warehouses that date back to the 1780s; The Vendue showcases contemporary art collection in a setting with crystal chandeliers and other traditional touches. It is a stylish boutique hotel with a classy mix of old and new in Charleston’s historic district.

The harbor, waterfront park, and the city’s best shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions such as Charleston City Market, King Street, and Marion Square are all within a short distance.
Accommodations at The Vendue are stylish and individually decorated with a mix of traditional decor and modern elements. Signature and Premiere rooms are spacious and filled with lots of natural light from large windows that over look the hotel interior or street. Standard amenities include flat-screen TVs, feather beds, desks, free bottled water, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms will add features such as robes, mini-fridges, and free sherry.
Plenty of attractive amenities can be found on-site at The Vendue, such as The Drawing Room, and upscale restaurant, The Rooftop, a wildly popular rooftop bar with sweeping views, nightly wine and cheese for free, as well as milk and cookies, and free loaner bicycles for exploring the city. Business travelers will enjoy the event space, business center, and concierge service.
