Cons: I returned the car with 1/2 tank of gas and would like a refund on that 1/2 tank. They told me to call your customer service, usually they are very good. However when I called the customer service they directed the call back to Burbank, where I could not get a refund. Not very professional.

Cons: The only complaint I had was walking to the kiosk inside the airport and then seeing a small sign showing I had to walk to the kiosk outside because it was closed.

Wrong Dollar Rental
Pros: Car was okay.
Had a ride to the airport.
Cons: Did not get the rate I thought I would....paid triple or more . the deal was for Burbank and I thought when it said "off airlport" it was off LAX the place I ended up had just moved there and when I presented my information, it was like ....wrong place....wrong deal sorry about that!!

Not What I Thought
Pros: The car worked, though the brakes were snatchy and I learned the hard way it needed new wiper blades.
Cons: The car had 28,000 miles on it and it drive like it. The "final" price was extremely deceiving and ended up being nearly three times that price by the time I walked away. The well-priced insurance quote your site gave me wasn't what they gave me at the desk. Read the very fine print people.
Pros: Drove a brand new Hyundai Elantra with only 700+ miles. Vehicle had great gas mileage and made my long distance camping drive a breeze. Given the last minute booking, the price was good and the rental process from start to finish was seamless.
Cons: No complaints here.

Pros: The young man at the Alamo desk at Bob Hope was very kind, gracious and professional.
I have bipolar disorder and was very rude to him. I didn't intend to be mean, but I was and I still feel horrible about the way I acted.
The car we got was a free upgrade. The Nissan was wonderful. And in perfect condition.

Good service, poor car.
Pros: Car was new, clean and pick up and drop off was seamless. No pressure to purchase additional products.
Cons: The car was a brand new Jeep compass, but it felt like a car from the 90's. There was no USB, Bluetooth was impossible to set up (needed some pin number by calling a separate service), etc. For a car built in 2016, this was a disappointment. I think Alamo should reconsider before using cars with the bare minimum in 2016. I would avoid renting an SUV class next time and just go with a full size or standard size.

Pros: Easy breezy. Used automated machine. Valet had the pick-up truck waiting for me.
Cons: I had to catch an uber at a designated lot across the campus of the airport and they charged that uber 3 dollars which was added to my fate for them picking me up
In the designated lot. I will never pick-up and drop off a vehicle from Burbank airport again because of this.

Cons: I rang ahead to check with Payless that they would accept my debit card as opposed to a credit card and they assured me they would. However when I turned up to collect my rental car they said they could not accept my debit card.
I was left to find another company that would and had to pay a much higher rental rate for the convenience.

Cons: Arrived at the Payless counter around 7:00PM local time and no one was available to help me. Called the local number and the phone rang at the front desk but no one answered. I went to Mid-way rental and got my car.

Cons: From the beginning, employees were relentless to uncharge. My internet price was $140, and I was quoted $158 upon arrival. My credit card was swiped before I saw the paperwork. Upon delivery of car at location different than rental, I had to present ORIGINAL paperwork, or be charged "damage" fees. Very nasty all around. Will not be using this rental company again.....very dissatisfied.!!!

Cons: The long walk from the terminal to car rental pick ups. There needs to be a shuttle.
Pros: We spent a long weekend in San Francisco. With proper configuration we were able to get four adult, three children, two full-size car seat and a booster into the Ford Explorer
Cons: I didn't find the Ford Explorer to be super comfortable, and at highway speeds it made this horrible buzzing noise that came from the windshield area. Which wouldn't have been an issues but we drove over 900 miles and and spent 12+ hours in that car.

Cons: Car was not totally clean, as I have experience with other rentals.
At the airport pick up level the Fox representative had most of the paperwork pre- filled out. Including the car pre inspection report. The report was inaccurately filled out and had missed multiple areas of previous damage. The agent did not appear to be happy that I had questioned her report, but did mark the other areas that I pointed out to her. During the week I located the damage report from the person who had rented this car just prior to me. On their damage report the area that I had questioned and wanted noted was marked. I felt that this was an attempt to take advantage of the next person renting this car, if they would have just accepted the damage report as is. I also have noticed that other rentals that I have been contracted with did not have the mileage that this car had. Over 38,000 miles

Understaffed, typical insurance upsell
Pros: Decent car, got the car I ordered, unlike the elderly couple that checked in next to me! The drop off went smoothly.
Cons: I had purchased insurance via Kayak through a third party. When I checked in the agent questioned the value of the insurance and wanted me to buy their insurance in addition, "just to make sure". When I went to the lot to pick up the car no one was available so I had to wait quite a while. While annoying for me, it was worse for the people that were dropping cars off and trying to catch a flight!
Pros: Quick and relatively easy pick up with friendly staff.
Cons: Called to make sure there were several Luxury options after booking and was informed there would be. When i got there, only one car to pick from, and I did not fit. Then needed to pay extra for choosing another car 'up' (Mustang). That or choose a smaller car. Not ideal.

Pros: This was very easy and the car was perfect for what I needed
Cons: Know it can't be changed but the location of Enterprise at Bob Hope airport was very very far from the main doors of the airport. Since this location was sooo far, a shuttle to the airport would have been very nice. I had knee replacement last December and it wad a long difficult walk to get to the import after I dropped off the car. I might consider another option next time because of this. A shuttle would have made the difference

Cons: I requested a pick at LAX and it gave me one at Burbank (45 minutes away). I was forced to make other arrangements when I realized this. It was a disaster and enormous amount of time and $60 worth of taxi fees + whatever I paid for the reservation.

Change of plans
Pros: Enterprise was nice to us when we had to cut our trip short to go home 1/4 way into our trip for the funeral of my sister. They refunded most of the charge and treated us fairly when we returned the car to Burbank rather than Sacramento.
Cons: The car rental places at Burbank are a long walk from the airport entrances.

Great service and car
Pros: We got a very clean Malibu. All personnel were customer-focused. I was happy with the weekly rate and unlimited miles. A flawless experience all around.
Cons: We like to walk, so we didn't check on any options to get to the rental site, which was connected to Burbank Airport via skywalk. Some people might see the walk as a negative, but we enjoyed it after the flight.

Cons: Very long wait in line at LAX to pick up the car we had reserved. Main problem was that somehow when I looked at the reservation at the LAX airport when we arrived I noticed that it was to pick up the car at the Bob Hope airport. It was a good thing I noticed that and called to change the place of the reservation. I don't know how that happened but I am as smart as the average Hertz renter and I suspect there was either a mistake made by Hertz or the website makes it too easy to make a mistake.
Pros: Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and helped me rather quickly. Easy to check the car out.
Cons: I was expecting a car, but ended up getting a CX5, which is more van than car. Wasn't too pleased with that, seeing as I paid for a Standard-sized vehicle. My complaint is that I wanted a vehicle with a trunk because I had valuables I wanted to conceal. I didn't want people to see the laptops I was taking around in big Lenovo boxes, and I had no abilities to take them into the hotels with me. The CX5, even with the ample storage space, there was no chance to hide anything, even with different seat configurations, everything was extremely visible. Also, I am a tall person and the seat didn't go back far enough to be comfortable in my hundreds of miles of commuting.

Great except for Lost and Found Process
Pros: Quick process and great customer service (Logan was great). Lost and found was quick to respond.
Cons: This was my mistake but it would have been nice if the attendant looked through the car more thoroughly with me as I left an item in the car. With that said, I had to go through 3 transfers to get an update on my lost item (which turned out to be a robot) via phone call. There should definitely be a more direct number to the Burbank, CA (Bob Hope Airport) location.

Bad service with wrong car
Pros: Return process was easy
Cons: Reserved an immediate size car, but was given a compact car, yet charged for a midsize car! Apparently they ran out of cars and gave me first available. Did not inform me of this until I complained when I returned the car. Compact car was not fit for highway driving with no power. When picking up car, the guy helping was rude! Overall bad experience.
Pros: I like that fact that, to my surprise, I received a Toyota (which was/is a gas saver). The car drove very smoothly. No issues or problem. The service agents were kind, all throughout my check in, rental car pick up, and return.

Great car and service, smelly perfumed cleaning solution
Pros: The service and location were both great. The car was new and got great gas mileage. We loved the video footage of the inspection and the convenience of there website and billing.
Cons: There was an incredibly strong, perfume type of cleaning smell. We had to drive with the windows down or it would cause headaches. It was so strong, you could smell the overpowering solution through the trunk while standing behind the car.

Super efficient ($ & time)
Pros: SWA flight was delayed (as usual) until close to 11PM which is closing time for the rental desk. Called the front desk with advanced notice and was assured that someone would be available to provide my car.
Upon arrival, super quick checkout process. MCar is located on site at BUR. All receipts emailed. Damage check was done via video and emailed. Very impressive.
Brand new Nissan Versa was top shape. Great economy car.
Return was equally easy and fast. No paper trail, everything emailed. Best part - MCar was the cheapest by far, reserved 48 hrs in advance. Welcome to the future.
Cons: Nothing, would rent again from the BUR location.

Who thought a 15 passenger van could drive so well
Pros: For a giant van, this thing was incredible. Hauled 10 people and tons of luggage few hours from Burbank to rural town in California for a wedding through winding, inclined roads. Handled great.
Cons: When i refilled fuel tank, the gauge made it look like i was about 1/8 of a tank short - even with topping off. Avis didn't charge me though when I explained how I just filled it up.

Pros: The SUV drove fine.
Cons: After being told my reserved mid-sized car was not available, I was offered the Toyota RAV4 for the same price. After leaving the airport and arriving at my destination, I discovered the dashboard was coated with dust and there was quite a bit of dog or cat hair in the rear of the vehicle. Upon returning it, the agent apologized and indicated he would not charge me for the alleged hourly overage I'd incurred.
