Unable to accommodate minor change in travel plans
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: My flight was delayed, so I had to pick up the car at 10PM instead of noon, or even noon the following day (I had agreed to pay the full price). I tried to call the local Avis for three hours the day before to clarify my reservation. Nobody at the local office answered. I called literally 50 times. Nobody at the national office could help. The next morning (still before arriving in the city of the rental) I tried calling again. Finally after 2 hours and 30 attempts the manager finally answered and couldn't help me at all. She had no suggestions and kept saying "it is what it is." This was the worst rental experience of my life. I will never rent from Avis again.

Inside smelled like pee
Pros: The car is AWD, has good gas mileage.
Cons: The inside smelled like pee, and the Avis people said that was normal.

Good at taking reservations - bad at reserving a c
Cons: They did not have a cat available for my reservation. You're good a taking the reservations but not actually reserving - which is the most important part of the reservation process.

Cons: Cost more to change reservation by two hours. Also car had very squeaky brakes.

Cons: Will NEVER use them again! Went down the road paid twice as much but the service at Enterprise was much better..had the worst experience at Avis...they need to learn how to communicate...

Great service, great car, friendly staff
Pros: The 2 guys there were friendly and more than helpful. The car they gave us - a Ford Fusion Hybrid - was new and great on gas. Would recommend this place to anyone needing a car in Kent, WA!
Cons: The car gas tank was 5/8 full upon pickup, but the card said it had a full tank because we were registered for a car with a full tank and given the key for a car with 5/8 tank. Because the documentation was not corrected at time of pickup we were charged $50 extra for gas at drop off.

Pros: Finally got the car.
Cons: I prepaid for the rental in February to pickup at noon on August 26th, but the rental was not available until 2:30. The Hertz representative on site was not very helpful. I had to call Hertz directly before I finally received the service I needed. All this was happening while my wife and 4 kids were at the airport waiting, and hungry for lunch.
Cons: I reserved a car for my trip to Seattle. The system actually reserved a car in Kent!!! So I got there and I was told that I had to take a cab to Kent ( aim not from the Seattle are and I have no clue as to where Kent is. However it would defeat the purpose of renting a car. And the clerk told me that there were no cars available, I was not offered the help or anybody called the Kent location to see if they could take the car to SEATAC-No help at all from the Budget SEATAC location!!. So I got on Kayak and reserved a vehicle at the same location I was just told there were no cars available.!! I rent from Budget several times a year btw.

Pros: It was easy.
Cons: I didn't know that I had to return it exactly at the time I picked it up. I was told it was to the minute. That added a bit a stress.
When I booked it I didn't know exactly when I would be picking it up so I estimated and I got there early and had to sit and wait until that time or extra fees would have been applied. I think there should be some flexibility.
