If you don’t have an early flight, the value for money is a great choice. Team is kind and profesional; they have a shuttle service to and from the airport.

Passenger Van

When we arrived the car ready for us was a 5-passenger, not a 7 as we had reserved. After some discussion, an 8-passenger car was made available at the agreed-upon rate, but we had to wait 30 minutes while it was prepared. That car was still not really clean, especially the inside of the windshield. The tires were also way over-inflated. It proved to be a good vehicle over the two weeks we had it. The staff at the location were courteous and freindly, if a little disorganized.

I called several times to arrange an airport drop off (unbeknownst to me booking was for a remote location drop-off) but was told it was not possible. Upon bringing car back to remote location (cutting into vacation time) I was told it would be better to return it to the airport which I ended up doing the following day. Get it together!!! Grrrrrr.

We were given a free upgrade to an EV. Unfortunately, there were several EV related charges added to my bill. Very difficult to contact Hertz. They only want online messages sent. I did that on Monday and have not heard back yet, while the amount was, of course, already charged to my credit card.

the young lady was at hertz seems very unprofessional. she did not mentioned that how to drop off car keys or she did not mentioned that how much money they will charge on my credit card. they did not give any explanation. she just hand over the keys to me and get my signature. even when i asked her question she answer that question falsefully. the another co worker interrupted her and corrected answer. worse experience ever

Worst experience I’ve EVER had with a rental car. Despite talking to them before I even left my departure airport, when I arrived in YVR and called them for a shuttle to get the car, they told me they didn’t have my reservation. I had prepaid for the car. I was told they didn’t have my reservation (even though they found it during the first call). The guy in the phone was beyond rude and told me that they wouldn’t do anything for me. They weren’t going to help.

Staff was pleasant and working hard but their were not enough people or cars for an easy pickup or drop off so each took way too long for both

Their team that mans their phone lines are extremely rude, they interrupted me constantly, would not listen to me properly, were extremely rude in the way they spoke to me. I also had to call multiple lines to get the correct information. I was hung up on. I was not given any votes of confidence when attempting to change booking times. I was also double charged on my card and they have claimed I returned the vehicle late resulting in this excess fee which is not true. When I showed up to pick up my vehicle, it was not ready (even though I had run to confirm my vehicle would need to be picked up earlier) I also went to address emailed to me on my confirmation of booking, this address was incorrect, I had to call 3 numbers to receive help before somebody came to get me to drive me to their new office site. The entire experience was awful.
