Even though I had requested car be dropped off at private terminal, it had not been and I had to go to main terminal for car!

Cons:

Car had problems, low tire and engine light came on, had to exchange vehicle!

Cons:

Car had lots of dings, scratches and what looked to be tar stuck in it. At the counter they told me it had zero damage. I took pictures and showed the person and they said oh yes we’re aware of it. Was not impressed. Also the insurance I purchased for it was cancelled as I was picking it up because kayak neglected to tell me that because I am a Quebec resident they can’t insure me.

Van fit a family of 5 and a dog just fine for a long trip.

Cons:

I waited 2.5 hours at the airport for this van to arrive. It looked like it had been washed with a dirty cloth. The interior was filthy, very much in need of a vacuum.

When I picked up the car in London，the gas tank was not full. I noticed it on my way home in London. It cost me $ 17.63 to fill it up(12.08 liters). When I returned the car the next day in Toronto，I complained it in Avis counter and showed the two receipts for the gas. The guy said I have to talk to Avis in London. I was heading to China so I didn't have enough time to do it. I did call them . But nobody answered phone.

The rental sales agent responsible for the budget store at the London International Airport (Ontario) was extremely sleazy. He attempted to claim that the credit card I was using for rental did not have insufficient funds, even though I had been with my bank representative over the phone who confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my card. The agent simply refused to rent the car, which made the entire situation definitely sketchy. I did not rent the car with Budget, and had to look for another rental company to find a car at the last minute, since it was an urgent matter (by the way, my credit card worked perfectly with the other rental). 0 out of 10 would do business again with this store, and I do not recommend it to anyone else.

First of all, I was given a car that did not fit the description of the car in the category I rented and therefore I could not fit my luggage in it. I then had to pay for an upgrade which I was not happy about, but I did not have a choice as my parents and I were needing to drive a further 2 hours to our destination, and it was late. When I got the next car, it was dirty inside and had quite a lot of marks and scrapes on the wheels. I was told to take pictures of the damage (I did). When I was driving it, I noticed that the service overdue and engine oil lights were on, but it was too late to go back. I had two tyers blow while I was driving, which the tyer repair place said was caused by the damage on the rims. I had to pay for the two new tyers and budget were not prepared to reimburse me for the cost. We could have been killed if I had been travelling any faster. Although I have pictures of the damaged rims, they are saying that the car was not damaged when it was rented to me, even though I have pictures on the day. I am disgusted with budget.

Mitsubishi suv is a poorly designed vehicle and having a chance to rent one, I surely would not buy one. Speedometer barely visible on sunny days. Multiple position gearshift is ridiculous!. Take some time to test drive and look for function fit and form

Pros:

The drop off was a little weird. The guy wasn’t in his booth and was walking out the door and asked for my keys. I was super confused as he didn’t have an ID card etc. It took me a few minutes to realize he had a Hertz shirt on. I didn’t like the drop off.

Cons:

Car could have been cleaner and the drop off better, but other than that, it was fine.
