Pros (+) The rooms were beautifully designed. Beatrix, the adjoining restaurant, was great for drinks and breakfast. There are many things to do, eat and see in walking distance.
Cons (-) There were a lot of loud guests who were clearly out to party the Saturday that we stayed here. The rooms facing Clark street had a lot of car honking/traffic sounds until well after 2am. Bring ear plugs!
Pros (+) I loved this hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed there when spending the weekend in Chicago. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was modern, and the floor to ceiling windows offered great views of the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
Cons (-) We checked into the hotel and everything was going smoothly until the gentleman at the front desk nervously told me that our room would be on the 2nd floor and asked me if that was okay. I thought nothing of it at first. If that was the only room they had when we arrived then that's the room we would take.
