location
the customer service could be improved. My Expedia reservation took a while, I sat in the lobby for a while (this was okay), but afterwards they charged double, and I had to call 3 times, and involved Expedia team to have the issue solved and get the reimbursement.
The bed was great as were the amenities. The hotel is lovely and spacious. When I commented in a different review that I was surprised not to have been offered an upgrade in a very slow time, I was immediately given one. Our 3 night stay was very pleasant.
Many of the staff seemed indifferent to us as customers. Only after my poor review did the front desk take any interest in us and even then there were no smiles. The maintenance man we met on the elevator seemed to be the only person happy to work there.
Location was great and the room was nice
No parking. The price was good but the parking was not included, it and was about $50 a night so it kind of defeated the purpose of getting a good deal.
What a grand old lady this hotel is. Soak up the ambience and the history and enjoy the great location.
Make no doubt this place old, but beautiful. The pipes creak, the elevators break down occasionally but definitely great value for money considering her location.
I loved the location and history of this hotel. It wasn’t fancy but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
I really wish they had water available in the lobby. They had containers out there but they never had water in them at all for the three days we were there.
Location location location. Walking distance to airport train.
Breakfast and hot water in the rooms.
Stayed here again bc it’s location. Close to downtown attractions and the train

Location
Bed was super hard, room was way too hot, stay was not friendly at all.
Bed was comfortable
Hotel is very dated. The room doors are original to the building and look nearly 100 years old. However, they are banged up and painted over 1000 times. Carpet is tired. You can’t control the temperature in your room. Walls are thin. It’s a cheap renovation overall with poor taste in furnishings and an indifferent staff. This hotel should be gutted and redeveloped then it has a shot because the location is quite good.
My message light was on on my phone and i called the desk 5 times and they said they would turn it off and they never did. For me it is the little things that irritate me when it comes to service. Do what you say you are going to do. The book int he room says the shop int he lobby is open until 10pm but it was closed at 7pm and then the next day it was closed at 4pm. Again, frustrating.
Badly in need of an uodate
Good location
This hotel really needs an update, some of the I fraturfture is so old in the rooms and it’s been the same the last decade I’ve stayed there.
Building very nice. Location excellente
The room cleanless needs improve.
