I stayed 2 nights. Everything was nice and clean. The breakfast was good and the staff was great. Cheers to the man keeping breakfast stocked on Saturday morning. He survived what appeared to be a rush of at least one bus of either late teens or early 20 something kids. You rock man! The hotel staff was outstanding and the facility was clean. The rooms are a little dated, but we would not hesitate to stay at the Stoney Brook again.

Pros (+) People were very nice and helpful. Location is very good for my needs. Felt safe while traveling alone.
Cons (-) My room was very humid. It didn't make a difference how low I turned the air conditioning. I even turned on the heat to dry to dry the room out, but nothing worked.

Pros (+) We stayed three nights while attending the True/False film festival. Location is very convenient with grocery and restaurants just south on 163. Hot breakfast included in the price. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. plenty of cable channels if you are not out and about.
