5.5 Okay
Pros: Acceptable
Cons: Noisy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, comfortable without being too fluffy. It has enough edge that you feel like you're in LA without being consumed by its superficiality. AND the staff is always lovely.
Cons: It was a little cold and damp, due I think to the weather being unseasonably cold.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great place . Great staff . Concierge are fantastic. The hotel is very well located and you feel like in a different place when you arrive. The kids were in love with the gift they had when we arrived. Thanks again. There is no fitness room but they can give you a pass to go to Equinox (2 minutes by walk), it’s a very nice place !
Cons: The rooms that we get are very big and spacious but we hear many noise from the other rooms ... it seems to have some nice rooms and small villas with much more charm . Hope to get one of this one for our next stay :-)
7.5 Good
Pros: Just a bit dowdy and old fashioned — comfortable and quiet but if a hotel has the nerve to charge $28 hotel fee for WiFi and “turndown” they should make sure that turndown actually gets done
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Full of history. Really enjoyed finding out about the hotel and hanging out like rock stars did!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful and large property with gardens and two pools, ultra comfy bed, the dual option rain shower, and the list goes on...

Pros: Everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - very friendly and helpful hotel staff. - we've traveled with two kids (11 and 1 years old) and for each of them the hotel gave the small gifts (like pieces of clothes) with "future rocker" inscription. Also two plates with fruits, deserts and water. - renovated hotel. - nice quite area , away from traffic and crowds. There is a valley parking. Relaxed atmosphere. - they gave us two adjusted rooms, which was very convenient. - for smokers: you can smoke at the balcony. - portraits of famous musicians
Cons: nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect - glose to most of the places we wanted to go. Very friendly staff (amazing). Clean.
Cons: A little expensive, we thought. But it’s LA in July. So that’s probably why.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: An oasis in Hollywood - 2 lovely pools and a very comfortable room - we were lucky to be ungraded to a suite overlooking the pool. Food was very good, staff friendly and helpful

6.8 Good
Pros: Location Staff Complimentary Breakfast
Cons: Room maintenance
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful ambience. Very "homey", with a gracious and polite staff.
Cons: The room was relatively small, with an overhead and noisy air conditioner. The "Velvet Room" at the hotel appeared charming, but despite the fact that the hotel manager recommended going there on a Thursday night, we could not get served there at around 9:50pm because they were "shutting down". Ironically, we had tried to order drinks at the Velvet Room bar 10 minutes earlier, but there were too many people at the bar to get our order in, and by the time we located a table in the bar, which was about 80% occupied, we were told that management had instructed the bartenders to "shut things down". Needless to say, we were miffed that the hotel manager had highlighted the speakeasy as a charming amenity of the hotel at the morning breakfast , only to be shut out from the premises prior to 10:00pm on the very same evening.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The whole atmosphere of the hotel is great, and the rooms are really nice. The hotel offers free jazz in the hotel bar each night and shows old silent films on the wall which is something a little different.
Cons: The breakfast is a fairly long way below average - very limited selection and not particularly fresh. It's included in the price (seemingly a rarity locally) but paying a little bit to get something better would have been preferable.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I had my 30th birthday at your hotel on my last night as a 29 year old “Saying Goodbye To My Roaring 20’s”!! It was the PERFECT spot for this occasion with the class and history of your amazing hotel. Your room blew me away with its classic 1920’s-1930’s style/decor. Every personal detail created a positive impression on me from the tub to the lamp shades to the chandelier. Thank you
Cons: 1) I was a little surprised to see that I did not have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a toothbrush in the hotel room when I arrived. I have never not had the basic bathing essentials at a hotel - ever 2) The shower was difficult to use (although very beautiful)
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: None
Cons: Request a refund for two miserable nights. Shower system was broken the first night and we couldn’t use it without the help of a screw driver to tighten the shower head. Asked to have it fixed but the second night was worse. No repairs were done in spite of our request. Maintenance at the Culver Hotel is poor. Could have stayed at a better place for a better price. Will never stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its was so comfy and cool
7.5 Good
Pros: Not a regular hotel, the bar at nights.
Cons: Breakfast was disorganized. Some mornings we couldn't find a table, or the tables weren't set or clean. There was always something missing from the breakfast table (cups, or fruit, or juice). There are shorthand of people. Was difficult to ask for expresso coffee or the bill. All mornings where the same, no variation. Asking for eggs was al odisea. The avenue can have traffic noise.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The common spaces are charming. Nice live music at noght
Cons: Not enough plugs in room. Air conditioning just fair. A little noisy,
7.5 Good
Pros: Olde worlde feel, a good social hub in the evenings, rooms generous in size and well furnished
Cons: Gym with one running machine isn't a gym, zero customer service at breakfast - help yourself unattended buffet, massive construction works next door
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Best hotel in the area, staff were great, continental breakfast was tasty, hotel bar and restaurant were very nice, very comfortable beds
Cons: Not a whole lot in the area, no pool, felt slightly pricey
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Safe, Clean, Comfortable, Upscale and friendly. I loved the bed and bedding. The flat steak was one of the best I have ever tasted. I liked that you could open the window and get fresh air or turn on the air conditioner.
Cons: Breakfast was good except the bacon was almost raw. I informed the management and they were very responsive and accepted my comment in a way that was appreciative. I was in a rush. I'm certain if I sent it back they would have sent me a new dish. Though they probably could have taken it off my bill. I did eat the eggs and they were delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: High Tea was the best!
Cons: Not a thing

6.0 Good
Pros: Room size
Cons: Not 5 stars, inconsistent maid service, no room service, room key didn't work, fit and finish not 5 stars...
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The location is pretty close to some restaurants and shopping
Cons: It is not worth the money. We found dirty dishes and cups as we arrived, we had a problem with our room and called the front desk to try to fix it right away and were told management would contact us, never heard from anyone. We emailed management only to receive excuses of a poorly managed check in with an employee who is clearly not great at her job. We travel a lot and try to give smaller boutique hotels our business but this one didn’t pass the test. Will not be coming back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing, the hotel is a gem

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, gorgeous courtyard, spotlessly clean. Whole place had a lovely, tranquil feeling. We loved the roof deck, especially in the mornings and evenings.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Very close to UCLA campus with lots of dining nearby. The hotel is not big which is easy to access. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Cons: Kitchen is not fully equipped but considering limited space this is good enough for a short stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel in Westwood LA, especially for family with children. Close distance to several good restaurants, cafe, etc.
Cons: n.a.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very well located just a block away from Hollywood boulevard and the Metro station. We did most of our Hollywood discovery by walking from there and it is perfect. Also, the Metro connects you with Union Station and other convenient stations in a few stops. The location is perfect. The staff was very helpful and warm, and the hotel is pretty new, in a modern boutique style. The internet is quite good. Everything was great, the hotel is not cheap but the value for money was what we expected.
Cons: Everything was great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent. Hotel is beautiful, has a great bar, great coffee shop, great neighborhood.
Cons: The pool was a big part of why I chose the hotel. It was closed for maintenance for half my stay. I ordered room service and they didn't tell me they were out of my wife's lunch until the server got to my door. No time to order again, decided to just split my lunch with her, but that's very bad room service.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and welcoming
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, great location, great staff and room size! Free wine hour is a fantastic touch! Helpful and catered to all needs, couldn’t ask for more! Would definitely stay again!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the hotel and our room with a view of the Hollywood sign. Gorgeous decor and the staff were so professional and friendly. Happy hour at 5pm with complimentary drinks also went down a treat!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a find! Clean and comfortable. Centrally located. An onsite restaurant, serving a variety of vegan to meat dishes that was reasonably priced for the city (and extended hours of operation - perfect for late arrivals). Great Bar & Lounge area. Live music. Complimentary morning coffee served in the restaurant for guests.
Cons: There wasn't anything not to like -- except perhaps larger "to go" cups for coffee (Really not a deal breaker). Truly wanted to stay another night.
9.5 Excellent

Pros: I like the hotel a lot. The room was clean and spacious. The property well kept and managed. Breakfast was excellent. The added security with the key card to access the elevator and on premise parking was great.
Cons: I have to prelude this comment that this is not the hotel's fault. The guests above my room had heavy feet and at 11:30 pm, they were still moving a lot that made it difficult to sleep.

Cons: very late check in (7:00pm) & Spa booking was ignored by the staff & i missed the chance to get a message because of that, although i contacted them several times by email prior to the check in, and after all that bad things happened to me no one offered any kind of compensation, disappointing behavior for such a luxurious hotel.

Pros: Location and size of the rooms
Cons: The front desk staff were really not professional in check-in as the rooms were not ready until 6 Pm which is very bad experience to us. Also, they ask us to checkout at 12 noon. 9.3 Excellent
Pros: Style and comfort!
Cons: Gym is really small. But thats just a small remark
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean, modern, accommodating staff.
Cons: Incredibly noisy which rendered sleep difficult. Could hear walking above me and noise from outside as well as neighboring unit. The location was not central, however that is my own error in not researching sufficiently.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and location was very good. It was quite central to friends and restaurants I went to.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived we were BLOWN AWAY ! We could NOT fault La Peer at all. We had the most incredibly experience & will be back and could not recommend this hotel more highly. Thank you for ending our dream holiday with a bang !!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great modern facilities, friendly staff, fantastic location
Cons: Room was small and breakfast was not included.
5.8 Okay
Cons: The pool and deck were in use by a large and loud function all day. But the hotel still thought it appropriate to charge their amenities fee when a large part of the amenities were not available for use.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Room was more plain than I expected

Overview Reviews
The newest addition to hotelier and restaurateur Jeff Klein’s JK Hotel Group, Hotel 850 SVB is a new hotel concept inspired by European residential-style properties where the comforts and accoutrements of home blend seamlessly with the luxury and service of a contemporary hotel. Nestled on a beautiful street in West Hollywood, the historic building’s circa 1918 bungalow façade leads to a newly designed property developed by architect Marc Appleton and designer Rita Konig in partnership with Klein. The result is a decidedly different urban getaway. An under the radar pied a terre for the curious and discerning. And a hotel unlike any other in Los Angeles.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The small chunk of chocolate they put in the room every afternoon was DELICIOUS!
Cons: No gym (luckily there was a 24h fitness nearby. Had to purchase a temporary card for 65 dollars though...). Extremely simple breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast food was only bakery foods. Would have liked some eggs, bacon or cereal. Also, the instructions for parking did not match what was actually going on. There was not a valet stand on the corner of San Vincente and Cynthia as was told in the e-mail. Ended up having to drive around three times before finally being met by an attendant. Understand the street was closed due to event, but again the instructions given in the e-mail was incorrect.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Facilities were perfect. Very clean, polite staff, good location.
Cons: A bit expensive for my standards. Poor breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room is very clean and appealing. Location is perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in West Hollywood. Just outside of Hollywood but still close.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was so comfy. Room was lovely. Service excellent. Robes and towels very luxurious. Mini bar and snacks well stocked.
Cons: Parking - paying $48 for valet is a bit steep.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Kind staff, great location, comfy beds, and a pleasant home-stay like feel. There was a night of feng-shui furniture arrangement above me one night, and they worked hard to make it right.
Cons: Valet is wicked expensive, and a bit inconvenient. Bathroom fan can't be turned off?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The room was clean, cozy and superbly decorated. The bathroom was clean and stocked with soft towels and robes. The location was perfect for nightlife yet quiet.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super nice, and beds were really soft.... I felt comfortable and like I was at a getaway.
Cons: Sharing bathrooms with so many people is awkward, and the room I got from ordering online was SUPER small hut compared to pictures so I had to pay another 25 to upgrade for something more comfortable, and also 20 bucks for parking when I'm already paying 150 a night is kinda ridiculous. But I still enjoyed the pool and the oasis feel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent customer service
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel decor was very nice. Location was good.
Cons: Hotel staff was impersonal and didn't seem very knowledgeable. Breakfast did not include any protein or juices. Room did not have any bar glasses but offered wine and beer in the mini bar. There was not a cork screw to be found in the entire hotel. Finally a staff member came by with a screwdriver to open our bottle of wine! I think this level of hotel should offer a wine and cheese reception every night.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The buffet was beautiful and the views are amazing. Food is excellent and lots of options. They even have a fruit bar where you can request whatever fruits you want and they'll chop them up in front of you while you wait, into bite size pieces. Awesome. The elevators are soooo cool once you figure them out. Very fast. Your ears will pop and you will feel the g-force. All you have to do is key in where you want to go and the screen directs you which elevator to get into. No button pressing necessary in elevators. The sushi place is like nothing I've experienced before. You can get all you can eat sushi and it goes around in front of you on conveyor belts with little glass covers and you grab what you desire. SO FUN. Again, incredible views all around.
Cons: VALET was a nightmare. Crowded and hot. Instructions were not clear when we checked in so it took close to an hour to get our car. Everyone was friendly enough but they really need maybe more staff to check people out down there or something. If you're trying to get your car at check out time, call ahead and have it pulled up.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is new and well located. The views are absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast is of very high quality. Whether you are having breakfast or dinner, it is guaranteed that you will have a good view of the city.
Cons: We were billed incorrectly on departure for our breakfast, and it took several minutes to fix this problem. In addition, we were improperly charged for using several of the hotel facilities.

Pros: Best ever! Drinking a beer at 73 Floor amazing!
Cons: All ok
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location beautiful views on 50th floor hotel pool and amazing hospitality
Cons: A few holes in bedding
7.0 Good
Pros: Very well placed in LA
Cons: They are so busy that we get no service. I should have gotten my room at 16:00H but ont got it at 21:15H. They did credit me 100$ on the room.
5.5 Okay
Pros: the breakfast is charged U.S.$ 35.00 per person + taxes = U.S.$ 45+ but it has very small place and lot lot lot of people and very big waiting line . also if u come at around 9.15 or little later say bye bye to breakfast as waiting time is 45-50 minutes and at 10.00am sharp sharp sharp everything is taken away and at 10.03am u can all empty as if the staff is super super tired and want all the people to go away and so not nobody can even see anything . crazy what happens at 10.00am , a show must see if u like to watch funny staff working .
Cons: first we paid breakfast included but 1 day just missed as we came at 9.30am and waiting time was 45minutes so girl told she can give us table ( for breakfast ) but restaurant closes breakfast which is not her problem and she cannot help . for what I need than table ? to sit ? second on last day at 11.50 I just requested to please give me late check out as priority club member just till 12.30 and reception staff straight said in bad tone no we cannot and I must leave the room as soon as possible and check out . what they wanted I come in underwear and do the check out may be that will give them satisfaction . don't know what they feel . and had a feeling big number of staff appointed feel either they are special / or place where they work is special or both . anyway . good luck and hope if somebody can digest after paying U.S.$ 400+ for room standard per night then get humiliated and stay .
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The bed was so comfortable I never wanted to leave
Cons: It’s a little annoying that you have to take 3 elevators to get back to your room if you valet park your car buth that’s it.
7.0 Good
Pros: view, pool, restaurants
Cons: I usually don’t write reviews, but this time I feel like I have to. First thing,I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was a great experience with a pool and a few good restaurants inside of the hotel. After the check out we decided to take a walk around DTLA and we did leave our bags at the front desk, which seems like a good idea. But, when I got home I realized that my jewelry bag is missing. I reached out to the hotel to see maybe housekeeping did find it, the answer was “no” and the hotel management/ security wasn’t really addressing the problem. I don’t know if the housekeeping took it or people who looked after our bags went through my bags when we went for a walk. I don’t want to accuse anyone, but the fact is my jewelry is missing and no one seems to care. I will think twice, before staying there again.

Pros: Room size, Room condition, room service
Cons: Breakfast menu did not change for five days

7.0 Good
Pros: The room was nice, big , quiet, and clean. the facilities in the hotel were great. I had a good experience staying there, and i was considering booking again, but i changed my mind when they charged me extra and lied to me.
Cons: They charged me extra at check out, when I asked them about it, they told me they will return the extra charge, but then i found out that they have charged me the same amount again instead of returning it back, I tried to call them and email them about it with no luck, So I had to go back to the hotel to talk them directory about it, and When i was explaining the issue to the front desk staff, She was very rude trying to convincing me that they did not charged me any extra, and after I showed here my bank account, she start calculating and find out that there is an extra charges and she promise to return them, but again they only return half of it.

Pros: Location
Cons: Dirty, does not meet 5 star hotel in term of decorations, building, bathrooms showers are old and so dirty, quality of food...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed comfort some of the best in the world. Fresh clean. This hotel is pure quality. Been 11 years since I last stayed here and there are few I have stayed in of same quality.
Cons: The reception staff. Bell staff and lady behind the bar were all first class. However seating waiting for evening meal guests were forgotten no drinks etc. To the point of people moving to sit at the bar for service. Breakfast a similar story dirty dishes not cleared from table and no staff around for service. This was a shame as apart from the restaurant everyone else was 10/10 for service

Pros: Pillows and bed was very comfortable, housekeeping very friendly and helpful
Cons: Prices too high for food that was below average. Could not use the sitting areas to relax due to filming a movie there. Had to not talk once you came down from you room. Was told to be quiet due to filming. This was the whole day. Really!!!

Pros: Breakfast is fantastic. Parking is free and accessible. Close to everything in MB.
Cons: Bed was not comfortable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I really like having the "Coffee Bean" coffee machine at my disposal, 24/7 in the lobby area. You can make fresh coffee and hot chocolate to your liking! The staff is friendly, the evening "Happy Hour" was cozy (good food/drink/friendly). I'll return!
Cons: It would be nice to see cushions on the outdoor seating. They are huge, boxy, deep wicker seating that is not conducive to comfort or relaxation.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great service and friendly staff
Cons: No paper towels or napkins in room, no utensils and a very small flat screen tv
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice.. the patio was charming..and the continental breakfast was delicious.. overall the stay was very pleasant
Cons: No ocean view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice very clean!!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and staff was awesome. Considering the location, I expected parking to be an issue and there was ample parking :)
Cons: Room was a little stuffy because it was so long and narrow, needs a bit more ventilation - but that is being extremely picky because it was still a great room for the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet property despite being on a major thoroughfares. Cleanliness and nice size space to accommodate 2 adults and a 3 yr old. Computer desk space that works for doing homework online. Shutters on windows are a nice touch instead of curtains helps to darken room so much that 3 yr old had to ask is it daytime. Breakfast and dinner were a great value and helpful in saving on cost of meals. All staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all parking was FREE!! Landscaping in the courtyard was beautiful. Lots of lovely flowers in bloom to look at.
Cons: Difficult Regulating the water temperature while showering was a bit annoying and toilet malfunctioning in room 209. Toilet was continuing to run and then not flush a few times. However, it was addressed promptly. Also the parking deck is quite vicarious to access and maneuver with a large SUV like mine. The entrance driveway is a huge hill that curves around down into the-underground parking deck. Also, many guests go to smoke in the underground deck causing the smoke to go up the elevator shaft polluting the air of this NONSMOKING facility.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The staff was generally nice though not as helpful as I would have liked. Washer/dryer available Breakfast was included and not bad for what it was. Good selection including hot buffet.
Cons: I didn't like the room, the price and ultimately the treatment I received which was dismissive. I paid way too much for the room I received (king accessible suite) a which I booked through this website. 2 nights with tax was just under$500 I guess I got what I paid for but what I paid for sucked and cost way more than what I saw the same room available for the following week. It was a single room with a sofa which I do not consider a suite. Spartan and cold furnishings. When asked about changing the room it was met with resistance and than sure for another $40 a night. When looking I saw the queen suite (actually a suite) available for the price I paid for the single room. Instead of providing customer satisfaction the Best Western Manhattan Beach gets this poor review
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything it was a true oasis very comfortable, calm and amazing I have tons of pictures feel free to reach out I will share them a really nice and roomy. All accommodations were provided. Very smooth experience. I am coming back.
Cons: Maybe outside heaters for night hang out it gets cold toward the evening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and modern. Beautifully furnished and appointed. Wonderful staff! Roomy refrigerator with freezer that works really well: best of any hotel refrigerator that we have ever used. We booked a single king suite with sofa bed. We wanted a double queen room, but none were available. We would be arriving late, so our two kids would need to go straight to bed. The manager offered to have the sofa bed made up so we could put them to bed immediately. Then, while on our way, when we called to let the manager know when we’d be arriving, she said that she upgraded our room to a double queen suite at no extra charge. We were really grateful!
Cons: Wish it had a pool. Somehow we were under the impression that there was a pool. Also, the elevator seemed to be unusually slow. We tried to walk to the beach, but with all of our beach stuff, and the steep hills along the way, and two kids, the one mile distance seemed like five miles. By the time we reached the beach, we were thoroughly exhausted. Highly recommend driving to the beach, but the metered parking spaces can be very hard to get—prepare to drive around from lot to lot looking for someone who is leaving!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very accommodating to our every need and made us feel very comfortable. The continental breakfast is a must:) Also the best western surpassed my expectations with the design, decor, and size of the room. Definitely a must for those looking to get away to the beach; with Manhattan beach about a 15 min walk or 3 min drive
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great. The courtyard is a nice place to unwind and the end of the day. Underground parking was safe and always available. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The hotel is not walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. So, you have to try and find paid parking spaces each time you visit the Manhattan Beach tourist area.

Pros: Sunset Tower Hotel has a lot of style. You can feel the spirit of Golden Era of Hollywood. Staff is super friendly, rooms nicely refurbished and clean, charming little swimming pool on the open terrace with fabulous views. Location is perfect on Sunset Boulevard.
Cons: Continental breakfast included in the rate is rather limited and a la carte meals are expensive. Don’t be surprised.

Pros: Very good breakfast, excellent location
Cons: room could be better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Barbara! You are such a kind and awesome host!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and breakfast great. Beautiful art deco building, and a good overall feel to the place.
Cons: For what I paid, including extra for an upgrade, I was a little disappointed with the room. For £800 a night I expected more. Also, had a credit card issue on checking out where they'd messed up authorisation/pre-authorisation which ended up in my business card getting blocked for the rest of the trip and having to use personal card. Despite showing front desk the extra transactions appearing on the statement on the banking app on my phone - which clearly had 'Sunset Tower' next to them, they refused to believe it had anything to do with them as it 'wasn't on their system'. Disappointing end to an otherwise good stay.

Cons: Gym is depressingly dark and small
8.0 Excellent

Pros: I was traveling with my 11 year old daughter and this location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast (additional charge), the pool, and the location. The room was very comfortable and clean. There is an outdoor mall adjacent to the property with an easily accessible parking garage and lots of dining choices. The hotel was steps from Hollywood Boulevard and some main attractions. It was also close enough to Universal Studios that we were able to Uber and didn't need to use the rental car.
Cons: I paid for a room with a view of the iconic Hollywood Sign, which we had, however the room was right next to the service elevator and therefore quite noisy at night. Also, the shower door did not keep water in the shower, and the floor was often slippery. Finally, it felt like there were extra charges on everything, and we were not informed at breakfast that as an adult, I had a choice of hot or cold buffet - taking only the cold buffet made it a lot less expensive. Valet parking is $50/day so we ended up doing self parking in the garage nearby. Note to visitors - while the area is full of tourists, the hotel is an island of calm and luxury in a part of Hollywood which is rather seedy.

Pros: Staff and hotel were amazing. We got a tour from the manager. All staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The decor and the location.
Cons: I came about 2 hours early before check in. I was told I would be sent a text when my room was ready. No one texted me. I waited 45 mins after the standard check in time of 3pm. Watching other people get their rooms as soon as they checked in was not cool
9.0 Excellent
Cons: valet was very backed up and the parking fee was lame. The valet staff was great though. They were doing the best they could with the volume but again for the price of parking, there should have been about 3 times the staff

6.8 Good
Pros: Gorgeous hotel and a very nice room, though a bit on the expensive side for the overall quality and experience
Cons: Some staff is not very friendly. The lobby and restaurant temperature is quite hot. For a fancy and upscale place like this, doesn't make much sense. There is not much going on around it.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was modern and very clean.
Cons: They did not accommodate my request for a room away from the elevator. The hotel charged approx. $50 for mandatory valet parking (I would have been fine with this had they advertised this prior to my check in). The restaurant staff were rude onsite and in the middle of the night a glass fire alarm went off.
