Staff were courteous. Main issue I had was the additional insurance I bought through Kayak which should have meant I did not have to take out any additional insurance with Europcar. Un less I gave a guaranteed credit card of $100k (which was not possible) then I was forced to take out Europcars CDW insurance as they refused to recognise the policy sold by Allianz from Kayak. Additionally the car had an alarm issue that wenbt off when the car was locked and it was impossible to contact the branch that I rented the car through. Overall not a good experience from both Kayak or Europcar.Reviewed 7 Jun. 2023

The car was fine. The agent at the counter sold me a $25 fee to cover all tolls . I told her I was going to South Bend, IN today (Thursday) and returning Sunday. She said I was covered both ways. When I got to the Skyway, it didn't work. I was still in Illinois. The gate only opened when I used my credit card. The next toll booth, same thing happened. Final price was twice as much as the one I paid via Kayak. They charge me for gas even after returning the car at 90%. There was a mile policy you did not mention.
