Fort Worth motels

Cons: I had to book late due to a last-minute need and my usual Comfort Suites hotel was full, so I stayed across the parking lot at the Motel 6, where I stayed once before enjoyably. This is a perfectly good hotel and excellent value for the money. Unfortunately, this time the only room available was a smoking room and it smelled like you were literally sleeping inside a cigarette. While I applaud the hotel for offering smoking rooms at all (I'm a non-smoking Libertarian - to each his own), this room seemed to suffer from some quality control issues, including a really, really strong smoke smell, loose light fixtures and a TV remote without a battery cover. When it comes to Motel 6, some are really good, and some are really bad. This one is usually really good and, should you get a non-smoking room, you'll probably be happy they kept the light on for you.

Cons: A simple overcharge of $5

Cons: The pictures are not what you get. It's obvious that the owners stay on the property as well as others. The first room didn't have heat, and the second room the sink didn't drain properly, the toilet didn't flush immediately after you used it, the bed dipped, and you could see daylight, and moonlight from under the door, because it looked like it was not properly installed. There were people outside fixing their cars, and racing the engine. Kayak should remove this hotel from their offerings, or least have someone go out an inspect the hotels they are recommending.

Cons: The other clientelle. But I guess when you're staying at a cheap hotel like this, you're kind of signing up to be around some low-quality individuals.

Cons: Sheets were dirty. Hair from someone else was left in bed and pillows. Horrible. Smell was gross.

Cons: Wifi access

Cons: The room smell faintly of urine. The shower water was scalding hot & the water dripped all night. Entirely too much activity in the parking lot ALL NIGHT/MORNING LONG.
